What amazing talent!!! I learned to appreciate Frank Sinatra because my mother and father revered him and I literally came of age with his songs as a backdrop!! How delightful that his daughter inherited his gift!!!! RIP FRANK!!
Nancy is a great singer,I have about 20 of her albums and love every one of them. The first L.P. of her's that I bought (in 1967) called "Movin' With Nancy" proved to me that she could sing beautifully in her own right and was not famous just for being Frank Sinatra's daughter.More recently I purchased the D.V.D. of this record which was apparently the first music video ever produced. It has guest appearances by Frank Sinatra,Dean Martin,Lee Hazelwood,Sammy Davis Jr.-- I thoroughly recommend it to all Nancy fans.
Nancy has a very good, strong voice ... and Frank comes in and absolutely blows her out of the water. No slur on Nancy, Frank did that to a lot of people.
00:01 Bang Bang (My Babe Shot Me Down) 02:39 On Broadway 05:14 Yes Sir, Tha's My Baby (That's my Daddy) 07:15 Interlude 08:40 Downtown / These Boots Were Made For Walking
Thank you for this GREAT clip. This was entertainment! No singer had the style and presence of Frank, and Nancy had a nice voice, and she was a knockout!
I remember this, the oddly dedigned set wasnt finished in time and missing a set of steps , it was considered a security risk if they put the lights right down to allow the girls to leave this platform and since this was a Sinatra situation and given the song title Frank wondered how to deal with it given Nancy was in a dress. Nancy decided to roll off as gracefully as possible so as not to reveal anything or be at risk in the dark. We ( relative's of the duo) were slightly amused at the new way for ladies to exit the platform but it worked to eleviate security problems. The older generations involved were all waiting to see how Nancy's plan was going to work out...' well that's one way of doing it..solved the security problems mused one of the relatives....yes, very graceful.' they would have some crazy sets to work with when they would arrive various places. Making me smile this footage. Nancy was at least pleased that her new way of getting off stage showed her legs off.
Nancy Sinatra in a pink fringed mini-dress and matching pink vinyl boots go-go dancing in front of op-art panels is pretty much the ultimate 1960s vision.
@supernoia Thank you for uploading this rare, vintage footage!! This delightful blast from the past is an absolute treat to watch. It wouldn't seem unusual whatsoever to learn they both managed this bit in one take. The part where Nancy cant help giggling when Frank starts singing "Downtown" with her is adorable & memorable. P.S. I noticed a video on the sidebar titled "Nancy Sinatra calls duets with Frank hilarious", from CBS Sunday Morning some 8 years back. She went on with her neighbor, indeed has aged, but it was good to see that she hadn't ever resorted to plastic surgery (at least that I know of).
@defundthewar I lived through this and remember it well. Even her dad joked about her sudden fame. Her recording of "Boots" was a sensation. DJs played it to death. I remember high school lunchroom, and when the song came on, the students cheered and sang it. Hey, even Fabian and hoola hoops had a moment. Maybe goofy, but true.
@defundthewar I was around then. Nancy was never seen as a great singer, but she was in fact (albeit briefly) more popular than her dad ! And he was BIG in the mid 1960's. I was in high school at the time and she was really an "in" performer...if only for a moment.. I agree, she is now seen as a niche performer of her time.
An amazing singer..like Dusty Springfield..doesnt use any tricks..just lives the song.
I am obsessed with this video!! Frank Sinatra had some awe-inspiring natural talent. Don't see much of that nowadays...love their duet!
Estou viciad6 tb
Me too . I can’t stop watching it. I just love how Nancy is giggling… and of course the one and only Mr. Sinatra.
@@paulpatriot1776 so wonderful seeing a lovely girl love her pops so much. ❤

Yes, her voice was beautiful, and uniquely hers.
Yes she was a legit talent
What a beautiful father-and-daughter pair, Frank and Nancy Sinatra!
Frank had it all - incomparable voice, charm, charisma, looks. They are so cute together.
Nancy has a very good, strong voice ... and Frank comes in and absolutely blows her out of the water. No slur on Nancy, Frank did that to a lot of people.
I'm 49, I was only a kid at the time but I am so nostalgic even though I was too young to appreciate it or even really remember it.
If you're 49, you weren't around in the 1960s.

Great performance and singer. I had all her albums growing up.
"Bang, Bang !" . . . the Twin Peaks surrealist bar, nice touch from David Lynch.
Nanci has the quintessential sound of the American 60s, Dusty Springfield had the British sound, beautiful

The beat during “On Broadway” is phenomenal! Love her dancing to it!
Simple y sencillamente me encanta su voz
I love this...I bet she misses him like I miss my dad.
Frank was a great family man & loved his kids & they him.
What about his wives?
@@reneleclerc6119 what about them?
I love how she rolled off the stage like that. I think that's how it was back in day. Lol.
You can't stand up from being on the floor any other way in a mini skirt. Can't be done.
Este video es adorable! Que gran complicidad entre papá e hija, maravilloso!

I found a copy of Nancy's 'Boots' vinyl LP record a couple of weeks ago in NM condition. My only record of her's that I have (so far).

never anything like this now
@hasek393939 ya, time has a way of creeping up on all of us. For being 70 she still isn't bad looking. When this song came out she was a looker.
wonder how it feels to be the youth in the 60s
After Frank comes on be on the lookout for the magically appearing and disappearing seat on the stage.
it's sooo sweet, i love this video, thanks for the upload!!
Aun habia musica que tenia sentido ahora solo hay ruido
Nancy, You were overshadowed by your father who was unspeakably good…
But, if you sang this song, with the meaning you have behind it, you have depth!
Fantastic clip! Thanks for sharing it!
Maravilloso padre e hija😂😊😅❤
