Me orc. Me see door. 100 lock Me remember picking alteration as minor skill. Me open door WITH AXE INSTEAD OF 100 UNLOCK SPELL. Guards hear. Me recall.
You could grind loclpicking easily with a spell to lock door/container by 5 points and picking it over and over But, if youre like me, you're an alteration junkie anyway - water walking to avoid slaughterfish, levitating... its a great skill line
She told me to go to R'avir and "buy a bowl" little did I know she was setting me up, Balmora Vice we're waiting outside the shop to haul me away for possession D:
are there still Secret Master lockpicks available from the high elf in Balmora? I remember playing many years ago and discovered those pretty late in the game
I think the one in the hlaalu manor or sugar-lips in southwall have masters, haven't actually found a secret master in game outside of qasmoke, pretty sure they didn't get implemented, but the masters are plenty solid and those vendors should restock!
@@Gitshiver I did some digging and found that they were sold by a character called Hecerinde in the unpatched base game! Goty edition removed it. No doubt, on the master picks! Definitely more than enough for all but the most advanced locks
@@Gitshiver For sure! Kind of interesting. The prevalence of game crashing bugs was pretty annoying but maybe there are other little tidbits that, like the lockpicks, would have been fun to keep in the patched version. Oh, something that might be video worthy is the exploit of using any drain skill spell on yourself so that your skill in any particular ability is so low that you get bargain prices from a skill trainer of that skill. A money saving trick. Not sure if this works in the patched version and/or openmw, but it was cool in unpatched vanilla.

Nice to see videos like this made for morrowind, especially with production quality like this!
Thank you, the production value is a big focus for me!
Hey, I like your videos. Good work

Great ideas, those are going on the grind list!
those videos and guides are great!
Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying them!
I asked Ajira for duties and she had me run her errands for 8 hours...

@@AdamSmith-gb9pq good to know! I've always thought about trying to get ahold of the original version again and try all the most broken bugs!

@@AdamSmith-gb9pq yeah, I've been meaning to check that one, or the soul trap max skill glitch, I'm pretty sure it got patched out as well
training security skill to like 50 or so and buying journeyman lockpicks allows you to pretty much pick anything up to 100 for way less money than 30k
True, it would run about 14-15k (rough estimate), valid strategy for sure, but that's not as fun to watch :D
@@Gitshiver Yeah true it's kind of a boring strat lol. To be fair I never really considered enchanting a ring with open before
