@@EquipMeOT We are remodeling a small 2 bedroom house on my brothers property and took the shower out and Installed a shower/tub combo but I forgot to mention some kind of Grab bars so nothing was pre-installed this is very helpful. Thanks again
i would love to know where I can buy replacement rubber pads that hold the "bathtub safety rail " , as shown in the video at ~ 3.12 min. . The old pads crumbled and broke . I bought it for my mom years ago, now I need to use it myself . All else is in excellent condition . Thanks for any information .
I have two. One at each end of shower. Unfortunately every so often they loose suction. I have fallen. I am prone to fractures so I’m looking for something more permanent in shower installation. HELP!
@@EquipMeOT The top of the bath juts out an inch over the bathtub side cover, therefor does not allow it to be stable. You would have to add a soffit board to make it flush.
Thegirlinthosehats Yes, I’m picturing a claw foot tub. I’ve used these with them before but it does require the added board. I’m sorry I didn’t mention it in the video. Thank you for mentioning it!
It would be nice to see you demonstrate laying in the tub, then using that attachment to get out of the tub.
Please show getting into the tub and back out. I can’t imagine that. Thanks for the information!
I love that your kitty came in for an assist 😂
He's such an attention seeker...
Would be helpful if you demonstrated getting in the tub, sitting and getting out of the tub.
Great demonstration, just what I need, thank you
You are welcome!
Beware seniors or any one who fears slipping/falling in the shower or tub, the suction grab bar will NOT hold you up !!!
Correct, it’s never meant to support significant body weight, but rather to provide a place to stabilize.
It also will come loose, so check daily. I pitched mine. I feel they are dangerous.
They do not work I have tried several.
Thank you!
4:44 mine has never fallen off and you can’t even pull it off 5:31
This video was and is very helpful and well done. Thank you Leland
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching!

I’ve used the padded shelf liners for years! They are inexpensive and can be layered if needed to provide extra protection.
@@EquipMeOT , thank you so much .
How tall are you? What is the suggestion for someone who is 6'2". Thanks for such an informative video.

Wait, you're saying, a suction cup grab bar is NOT an open invitation to an eventually broken hip??!🤣🤣🤣
You forgot to tell people, that if you have a bath with a lip - it does NOT work or is NOT stable.
Thegirlinthosehats what type of lip are you referring to?
