Treasure hunter Eudora - easy to proc because of tourist mechanic. I guess it comes down to how badly do you want the treasure.
Party Planner Vona it's like that Mage minion from the last core set, spell damage +2 give a random minion in your hand +2 spell damage. When was the last card got to see play?
Eliza and King Tide, my guess, should be in Tier-S... And Patches looks a bit overrated... But this expansion brings really great cards... Good game all😊
One note on Rye Cleaver: It costs 7 mana, meaning it can be put into Baku warrior decks. And I say this as a guy who just hit legend for the first time ever this month with a Baku warrior deck that used Odin for a win condition. Tanking up for 4 mana a turn and having all the control spells warrior has right now means that Rye Cleaver most likely has a home in that style of deck. Whether or not people will want it is another question. In the deck I used, eight of the fourteen minions in my deck had battlecries that would get cancelled by getting summoned by Ryecleaver. Admittedly one of them is General Vezax, so I'd only lose the four armor if he got summoned...so maybe count that as seven out of fourteen instead.
Zeddy why is hearthstone not any fun anymore? Remember the good old days of grinding it out to fatigue? Running into Trump on ladder with an all golden freeze mage or fire bat with some insane aggro Hunter deck? I have played since beta, have a collection of 611 pages of cards and cringe everytime I play anymore. I really hope the new set breathes a little life into it for me cause the 10yr anniversary is turning into a funeral for me.
While you could argue a tier up or down on a lot of these... I think Griftah is a way over valued. The "phony" version your opponent gets is also most of the time pretty good. I think he is as bad as AFK because you give your opponent decent value also. I do not see him seeing much play at all.
when I will have over 20 crystal mana for the druid, be sure that with that legendary elemental mixed with 20 replicas then put 7 each on the battlefield, let's see if it is still level b as this zeddy catalogs it as a card of level b, all the books that rank b or a in other future updates can become rank s+ or s++!!!
AF Kay isn't that bad. Since most cards come in and can't attack anyway on turn one anyway. Plus Titans can't attack until they use all three abilities. plus any frozen cards that can't attack. There are a lot of way she can be used for quick buffs of your whole board. its not guaranteed she'll be able to stay on the board long enough to do much but there are certainly ways she could be used effectively. No way is she an F tier. She's not S tier either. just very situational. but if you can work your deck around it she might be very effective in the clutch.
Can someone link me a guide for setting up your deck or fighting. He said, "playing for board," and I have no idea what that means. I thought AFK was a good card. If you have taunt minions out, it can just keep buffing everything.
I guess it'll depend on order. If you play AF Kay first, she'll trigger before Gnome Muncher. If you played Gnome Muncher first he'll attack before AF Kay's effect triggers (And likely prevent it from affecting him)
I have only one exception to point out, if that legendary pirate for death knight and that legendary elemental as you consider it to be level b, you are probably referring to the fact that it may not come to your hand in time to be able to do that combo with him, or do you consider that the chances are too small to merge with the effect of these cards, but you are making a big mistake, I have already made the formula of the card pack that I will make for that pirate including that elemental!!
That elemental is going to be able to make so many combos. Going to do a draw heavy warrior deck with voone and zola. Can even run the new draw card for each minion type.
First card, and I already hard disagree with Zeddy. I see AFK in a token-heavy deck that keeps flooding the board. And look, a certain class got a bunch of support for that this expansion. I could also see AF Kay in token Druid when Blizzard inevitably adds the token support again. Remember the Naga who gave minions 1/2 if you played a Nature spell while holding her? Kay is better in many circumstances, and token Druid loves flooding with newly spawn tokens
@@esscate 0/5. She doesn't buff herself. Also, not "Every card you play" because the majority of cards that are played have Rush and trade into something. Even more so after 5 mana, where even something like Burrow Buster just freely removes her before you can summon something alongside her...
AFK is a lot better than people seem to think it is. a 5 mana 5 health minion that gives your other minions a 2/2 buff EVERY turn is really good in the right deck, and the right deck will indeed exist. Get ready for AFK to become pretty hated, cuz when people draw it against you, you're probably gonna lose.
It only buffs them if they don't attack. Which means it's really only buffing non-rush, non-charge minions that you play that turn. And it doesn't buff them til the end of the turn, so you can't make use of the extra stats til the following turn. I'm not sure anything that slow has ever been effective or powerful in Hearthstone.
I think these tourist cards are a huge dust sink since you have so many other cards that rely on them. Overall I think this will be bad for the game because it continues to force people to only invest in the best archetypes due to how expensive everything is. Now I know some people will point to cheap aggro decks that are effective but to me that isn't fun. I feel like a few of these are probably ranked too high but I guess we see how it pans out. I have a pessimistic outlook for the game but I'm going to keep playing.
For Sanc'Azel, i don't think it's that good. 5 mana for +3 atk and rush to a friendly minion is not good, while 3/8 is not very good at trading and removing opponents' minions. Buffing and trading you can probably do it 1-2 times before Sanc'Azel died. But I can totally see the best case is your opponents have a full board of 0/3, and they end their turn while letting you have a 1/1 minion alive. You play Sanc'Azel, buff the 1/1 minion you have, turn into a minion and take out their 0/3, repeating this 7 times, and then go face with your super buffed 25/1 minion.
I think you're forgetting that one of the main archetypes for Paladin right now is Handbuff. At its base, 5 mana 3/8 Rush that can then buff a minion by 3 attack is bad. But when you've handbuffed it to like 10 attack and then you have a 10/15 Rush that can then buff another minion by 10 attack... You start to be able to OTK with Charge minions like Leeroy and Deckhand. Especially if combined with Outfit Tailor for more attack and Deckhand can be given Windfury with the new Pirate too.
The rogue legendaries seem pretty bad. Tourist mechanic may be worth it but replaying all rogue cards usually just screws you and Maestra is 6 mana do nothing and there’s a good chance the hero card you get may not even be impactful. Idt random duels treasures are that good but who knows for Eudora.
Scorpion and velorak are just so much better with Tess idt you’d put any of the new legendaries in a strictly competitive deck. The other new burgle cards support velorak and scorpion better also.
Eudora is pretty easy to activate just play it in tourist and you already have cards from another class. Maestra I need to look at the pool but there's defintely some great hero cards in there.
I actually think AFKay will be better than he thinks says end of turn so as long as you can produce a swarm her effect will go off. Swarm + AFKay = means a board of 6 4/4s. That's 24 face damage if you wait a turn. There's also ways to reduce the cost of AFKay.
@@MinoriGaming twilight medium also you may not have to reduce the cost. Already have a board just play afk and don't attack for 1 time get +12 damage.
these statistics ranked at each level separately, it is totally wrong, you put legendary cards that are not for the respective class, you will realize their potential when you play with them, these statistics do not represent anything at all, it is just a useless graph that does not it makes sense!!

@@rougeric87 my friend, you don't understand, the theory has nothing to do with what these books do, I understood that it's a censorship in the middle, but statistically speaking you can't catalog a rank book to be rank b, in any way, even if it's a bad joke, the cards that will be above the level of expectations, will be seen when you win many matches, and the nerfs for such cards are not very useful, they change the effect for nothing because an opening will always be created!!
I really don’t understand the hype over Voljin. Everyone talks about board stats being worthless in modern hearthstone but this time it’s good? And it’s not like the Hunter cards are that amazing for what priest wants to do, we’ve already got a lot of copy effects. We need win conditions, not more gimmicks.
don't be too happy too early, there are only 4 classes in this update that will dominate you from all points of view, Druid, Death Knight, Warlock and Priest, the rest are only proportional inferiorities!!
Yeah, everyone is overrating Vol'jin. Even in the best case scenario you can swap ONE big minion like a Giant or Handbuff Pally minion with one of your own minions. Which even as a best case scenario, is an absolute garbage card. Like, literally all of the Origami cards are 100x better than this and they see no play. The only reason to ever run Vol'jin, is to access Hunter cards.
@@tarille1043 the idea that this card was designed in this update only to mock the opponent, in no case should it be a buff that will keep you mobile until you finish the match, but zeddy makes wrong statistics of those levels, you cannot catalog that legendary pirate for death knight and neither that legendary b-rank elemental, they are s-rank, but he thinks they won't work, wait for the update to be released and see the results then, if I think about it, the biggest buff are these 3 legendaries this undead pirate, that elemental and that legendary 5 mana per druid, the rest are just for decoration!!
@@joshualegacy563 I don't mean to do the fusions with that elemental on the shaman, I recommend you on the druid extend your crystal hand to 20, and at the end copy and mix that elemental of about 25/30 replicas and when they come into your hand put them on the field you will have a total of 35 spells that you then mix in the package, they upgrade them after your turn, think how much damage you give for one, the upgrade being divided among 7 elementals on your battlefield, the effect of that spell is quadrupled!!

King tide - I think you need to want to cheat a spell out for this to be worth.
Maestra - warlock tourist + hero cards it's incredible.
Marin the manager - you can already play this and it's great.
Mistah Vista - mage tourist possibly the most broken card. People forget he may be replaying 3 16 mana turns.
Narain Soothfancy - great card at worst it gives you info about the top card of your deck and let's you play 2 extra copies of your top card.
Party planner vonna - I think people forget to keep getting the oroburos you have to have a minion in hand.
Patches the pilot - seems good but I guess you might not draw the parachutes meaning its a 1/1 for 1.
Ranger gilly - warrior tourist I think people are overlooking it. But it's defintely meant for a handbuff hunter.
Raylla, sans sculptor - paladin tourist can get both cheap drinks and has a bunch of those cheap buffs.
Sanc'azel - just straight up a good card.
Sasquawk- looks incredible. If it's good priest can copy it a ton of times.
Summoner darkmarrow - death knight tourist and yeah if you love deathrattles like the oroburos.
Sunsapper Lynessa - rouge tourist and incredible I totally forgot this would double the coins effect but also those sunscreens are now + 2/+4 for 1 cost.
The ryecleaver - Its insane mana cheat and I think you might be able to build around it but man I think if you pull this off it might be nuts.
Treasure hunter Eudora - easy to proc because of tourist mechanic. I guess it comes down to how badly do you want the treasure.
I think incindius could be good in elemental mage with that 2 drop that discounts your next elemental
Draw 5 spells. . . ‘A bit of card draw’.
Party Planner Vona it's like that Mage minion from the last core set, spell damage +2 give a random minion in your hand +2 spell damage. When was the last card got to see play?
Aegwynn was played a fair bit
I think it will work particularly since the warlock tourist can double deathrattles meaning you can get a swarm of them.
Eliza and King Tide, my guess, should be in Tier-S... And Patches looks a bit overrated... But this expansion brings really great cards... Good game all😊
Lots of legendaries are very powerful. The meta is going be crazy.
I think even AFKay can work.
Incindius looks absolutely broken in rogue, i would give it an S tier. Priest playing multiple copies of this is going to be really strong as well.
@@peteryang-y3y Incidius is nowhere near as fast and reliable as Garrote was.
Thanks for the Tier list, appreciate it!
Isn't Baku and Genn going out of standard at the next expansion launch?
Some cards rated A id put in B tier, but overall very powerful set
So excited for this expansion!
Its gonna be a chaos meta for sure
Can’t wait to open all the worst legendaries!
My reason for not having in hs is card generation (discover cards mainly ).
I mainly play arena so I think u can understand why I hate discover cards.
15:55 i think i would be an awesome card for demon seed warlock in my opinion
While you could argue a tier up or down on a lot of these... I think Griftah is a way over valued. The "phony" version your opponent gets is also most of the time pretty good. I think he is as bad as AFK because you give your opponent decent value also. I do not see him seeing much play at all.
I think you are wrong on this particularly with a class that can replay the good effect.
when I will have over 20 crystal mana for the druid, be sure that with that legendary elemental mixed with 20 replicas then put 7 each on the battlefield, let's see if it is still level b as this zeddy catalogs it as a card of level b, all the books that rank b or a in other future updates can become rank s+ or s++!!!
Good luck pulling that off before handbuff paladin rolls you on turn 5
AF Kay isn't that bad. Since most cards come in and can't attack anyway on turn one anyway. Plus Titans can't attack until they use all three abilities. plus any frozen cards that can't attack. There are a lot of way she can be used for quick buffs of your whole board. its not guaranteed she'll be able to stay on the board long enough to do much but there are certainly ways she could be used effectively. No way is she an F tier. She's not S tier either. just very situational. but if you can work your deck around it she might be very effective in the clutch.
Looking forward to the new cards!
Hoping rogue legends will be strong
Goreblade warlock going to be insane
Can someone link me a guide for setting up your deck or fighting. He said, "playing for board," and I have no idea what that means. I thought AFK was a good card. If you have taunt minions out, it can just keep buffing everything.
I think the DK minion buff card is very powerful
Also I like AFK more than F tier
Ranger Gilly is the best tourist card, and the warrior one is the worst. You have those just switched :)
How does AF Kay work with Gnome Muncher?
I guess it'll depend on order.
If you play AF Kay first, she'll trigger before Gnome Muncher. If you played Gnome Muncher first he'll attack before AF Kay's effect triggers (And likely prevent it from affecting him)
He attacks so I'm guessing if he triggers first there's no buff.
Its looking pretty good, cant qait for release
king tide going 1 is a "you dont use spells"
the opponent cant even coin a spell, the coin would be 5 mana
A.F. Kay. . . is a ‘B’.
Keep up the good videos Zeddy. I enjoy listening to your card reviews during my breaks.
I wish i was excited about these cards....so many s tiers by zeddy. I dont think this expansion is too hot.
Paladin legendary is nuts
Yes both are good.
Are there always this many legendaries in one set?
Maybe a bit more than normal but class legendaries are typically 2.
lets go thanks for the review!
Some tourists synergise with the other class cards alot. Some uhhhh.... not so much
Eliza is gonna be s tier 100%
Rest of the game is always scary.
Eliza is S tier. I can't believe you gave it B. You gave A to Buttons
2:30 @Zeddy you cant read anymore :c
Hey zeddy, wanted to uplift you a bit, how does it feel to be the biggest hearthstone UA-camr?
My name isn't Rarran
I can see someone splitting Incindius and then getting 10 eruptions that will do 3 damage instantly. Is it consistent? I hope not but it is funny
Priest can copy it the issue is do they have enough time.
Priest definitely got the best legendary here.
Did i win the mega bundle? i hope so
I have only one exception to point out, if that legendary pirate for death knight and that legendary elemental as you consider it to be level b, you are probably referring to the fact that it may not come to your hand in time to be able to do that combo with him, or do you consider that the chances are too small to merge with the effect of these cards, but you are making a big mistake, I have already made the formula of the card pack that I will make for that pirate including that elemental!!
That elemental is going to be able to make so many combos. Going to do a draw heavy warrior deck with voone and zola. Can even run the new draw card for each minion type.
Cheese Dragon is my favorite.
Calling it now - buttons will be broken
Nice review!
AFK would not work even if it was 5|5. And if you are talking about DH his whole gimmik is having charge on tokens.
But you could buff them AND Attack. And if you attack you dont get the Buff. This wouldnt see play for 3-4 Mana i guess
@@shrekkek9396 Nope, I was talking about Warlock using Eliza to get more token stuff
I agree he's wrong about AFKay as long as it survives it just buffed all your swarm by +2/+2.
@@barcster2003 0\5 survives? Are you crazy?
AFKay would be bad even if she was 3 mana tbh
2/7 ”Every card you play gets +2/2” Would be a pretty threatening card. She is better than that because you have the option to buff further.
@@esscateGood. A board-based legendary should be threatening.
@@MinoriGamingThe card is strong
@@esscate 0/5. She doesn't buff herself.
Also, not "Every card you play" because the majority of cards that are played have Rush and trade into something.
Even more so after 5 mana, where even something like Burrow Buster just freely removes her before you can summon something alongside her...
i really like your euphoric type 🙂
I’m taking handbuff Hunter to legend
Im really worried about this set, its giving me Stormwind vibes. Likely not as bad as that set but man im kinda scared
I have a pessimistic outlook for the game but I'm going to keep playing.
lots of these legendaries (esp the late game ones) look good on paper, but the meta will likely be very aggressive and then they become unplayable..
9 cards in S tier? 9 cards in A tier? Sorry, Zeddy, I don't think so... This set seems much more balanced than that.
@tarille1043 the location only gives +3 attack and doesn't upgrade when the minion is buffed
@@joshualegacy563 No, the devs literally confirmed it scales with the stats of the minion.
@@tarille1043 Jesus, that's way too broken.
AFKay for the win! I'll make it work.
Gimme the megabundle 🔥🔥
Legendary are fun...
AFKay is gonna be fine as a 0-mana discovery
I actually think AFKay will be better than he thinks says end of turn so as long as you can produce a swarm her effect will go off.
Swarm + AFKay = means a board of 6 4/4s. That's 24 face damage if you wait a turn.
There's also ways to reduce the cost of AFKay.
@@barcster2003 How do you propose reducing AF Kay’s cost precisely? She’s not a spell, she has no tribes, she has no keywords, she has no class.
@@MinoriGaming twilight medium also you may not have to reduce the cost. Already have a board just play afk and don't attack for 1 time get +12 damage.
Sanc'Azel... sand castle 😂
Thank you ☕
these statistics ranked at each level separately, it is totally wrong, you put legendary cards that are not for the respective class, you will realize their potential when you play with them, these statistics do not represent anything at all, it is just a useless graph that does not it makes sense!!
What statistics? It's just a fun speculative tierlist, someone putting a card in C tier doens't mean you can't play the card.
@@rougeric87 you don't understand, these statistics are decided by the level of these cards, but some people like this zeddy categorize all the s or a rank cards as f or b rank cards, meaning they are the weakest, as a result it is not fun, these statistics are made so that there are finally some votes, the c, f, and b rank books are mediocre books!!
@@rougeric87 what part do you think is funny about a statistics graph, which indicates the position of some books, I really don't see or understand this part so funny?!!
@@alexex8169 I don't understand what you mean. If you want to measure how strong a card is by the means of statistics, you will need numbers and data, which we will get after lot of games have been played with those cards, but even then, statistics on hearthstone cards don't always say a lot because some cards are conditionally good because of a certain meta, synergies or counter.. I'm talking about "fun" because this type of videos are just "fun theorizing" about how good some cards will be, some people like and have fun in theory crafting decks or predicting the power of some cards. Anyway, I think there's some language barriers here or you're looking too deep into this. Enjoy your week!
A.F. KAY in Rogue coin deck
Mech mage paladin could be viable
Crazy set.
@alexex8169 shudderblock mini into that legendary elemental is gonna be hilarious if it works but something tells me it's too slow
Would love to win the giveaway, just getting back into the game after a long break
Afk would work in a non reno and other full clear. Hard sweepers more importantly they also farted on warrior so hard because they still managed to break it with the mutanis guy only combo will win again and hunter gets caught in the crossfire :( I'm calling the meta now it will be bs fun police control warrior and a priest tourist deck featuring 6000 1 drops and zarimi and pip the potent into i into 1drop avalanche combo
They have to really give us the worst of the legendaries alongside a lot of insanely powercrept, game warping cards.
Only healing is for warlock.. not even one for priest nor dk..
Ironically it feels like priest and warlock swapped places. Priest is doing self damage and warlock is healing.
Thx for information
