I think the bleed of color into the white of the mountain range actually looks amazing! Snows reflective, after all, so it just looks realistic and super pretty! You did wonderful either way.
Thank you! I never knew it was possible to paint on wood without watercolor ground (😂duh Nicole paper is wood). I especially loved your subject matter. What a beautiful way to share the true meaning of Christmas! "For we have seen his star in the east & have come to worship Him."
Congratulations on Arteza doing that!! You're so lucky Arteza gifted you those....I wasn't good enough to them somehow😔their loss..I love your work! Beautiful!
That's so cute! I have just finished making all my wood ornaments too haha, but not on nice arteza wood. How weird - it's like you're in my brain these past couple of videos with the mountains and now watercolour on wood haha! ~Gillzybean

Love these! They would make a great substitute for Christmas cards. Thank you for inspiring!
I'm using them in place of gift tags :)
That’s a good idea too. I don’t need to buy gifts but I do a lot cards.
So beautiful, I may try a go at a couple, I’m sure not an artist, lol, but always willing to try, TY
There's a little artist in all of us
Great information! They are soooo cute! 🎄
Thank you for watching!
You could use acrylic too. Nice tutorial!
Yes! I used acrylic in my 2nd wood slice tutorial.. bu the watercolor ones will always be my favorite :)
Have you tried putting down some watercolor ground first?
I've never worked with ground., but I really love the wood texture coming through.
