Becky I can't tell you how glad I am to see you again. You have been missed. I've been binge watching your previous videos again, and hoping you would be back. Your crafts are truly high end and so inspirational.
I’m so glad to be back Sandi, and thank you for watching my older videos too! I enjoy creating quality crafts that are also perfect for gift giving. I started filming a new Christmas video today so I will see you soon!
So so happy to see you back. Can't wait to see what's next . I know it going to be beautiful ❤️. Thank you for sharing. Have a beautiful and blessed week.♥️🎄🌟
It's so great to see you Becky! 😍 I've truly missed you! 😘 And I've been anxiously been awaiting your videos! ☺️ I love what you did with the ornaments! The impressions you made are outstanding! They're quite quant but very elegant! 😚 The way you craft is not only fun to watch, but it shows your sense of style and inspires us! I'm sorry you didn't get to move right now but I take it as a sign that it wasn't meant to be. I firmly believe that things happen for a reason and your time in Florida isn't through. And we know that you will continue to give us the best of you, no matter where you are! 🤗 Just remember that Tennessee can give you a lot more snow than Florida! 😉 Again, I'm so glad to see you and I look forward to your beautiful crafts! Thanks for sharing another great video! 🥰
Thank you Vickie; it’s good to be back with all my friends! I’m glad you liked the ornaments, I thought they were so sweet and simple. I believe things happen for a reason, and the Good Lord knows what is best. I’m already filming another Christmas tutorial, so I will see you again soon!
I’m saving to Watch Later because I have to get to bed and a busy day tomorrow! I hope you moved to Eastern Tennessee with the mountains and beautiful views! I lived in Donelson for a year way back in 1990 or 1991 and was so depressed! Nothing to do but watch the jets take off and land! 😭
Hi Becky, welcome back! I'm sorry your move is delayed but yes those interest rates are insane right now. All good things come when the time is right. I'm just happy to see you back here crafting with us again! Love your ornament ideas! Doing the happy dance!!💃💃
Hello C rose Z, and thank you! When we saw mortgage rates continually rising, it was an easy choice to stay in Florida and try again once the economy improves. I spent a week packing most of my craft room before we listed, then another week putting it all back to film! 😂 I’m so excited to be with all my Shabby friends again!
Hey Becky, I was so happy to see your video today. These ornaments are just precious. I'm so happy you're back because I HAVE MISSED YOU. So sorry the move to Tennessee did not work out now but this economy will not last forever - you will get there. I look forward to seeing you again soon. 🎄♥️
So glad to be with you all again Susan! I’m truly content to be here and will try to move again once the economy improves. It all comes in cycles. I’m already filming today for my next Christmas crafting video, so I will see you soon!
Oh I missed you so much so happy to see you again - lovely ideas as always sweet friend - many blessings to you and your whole family. I hope i get a chance to come and visit again soon!!!
Hello Annie! It’s been totally bonkers around here for quite a while. I packed up most of my craft room, now I’m bringing it back in so I can create again. Now that we are in Florida for the foreseeable future, I’d love to have you come visit us again!
Thank you so much Donnie; I missed my Shabby friends too! We made the hard decision to stay in Florida until mortgage rates go down, but moving to Tennessee is still a goal for us. Have a great week!
I'm so glad you are back! We are living in crazy times for sure economically and every other way. Maybe God has a better plan for you right now than living in TN. Your ornaments are darling and something I want to try.
Thank you Marcha; I’m so glad to be back! I do hope you try making the sweet little ornaments. I agree, God has a reason for us remaining in Florida and all things will work out in His time.
Good evening, Becky! Yay! So happy to see you again. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The ornaments turned out beautifully. Thank you for sharing & inspiring. 🎄
Hello Bee; it's so good to be back with all my friends! Things have been quite stressful, but God worked it out for my good. Our Thanksgiving was fabulous, and I hope you and your family enjoyed time together too!
New to your channel. I have been wanting to do clay ornaments for awhile but wasn't quite sure how to do it, then your video popped up. These are absolutely beautiful.
Hello Sandy and welcome to Kinda Shabby! Working with clay is so fun and relaxing. And if you mess up, you just ball it up and roll it out again. Have fun making your ornaments!
Welcome back! I was just thinking about you a few days ago, missed your creativity. Loved the projects today, my favorite was the one you used the bottom of the glass. It's amazing how many items around the house you can use.
Love your ideas. A new subscriber, here. Sorry, to hear your move Tennessee was postponed, you'd love it. I've lived here my whole life, I love it here. In my unbiased opinion - the best state to live in. I'm 20 minutes from the north Carolina state line. Merry Christmas to you and yours. 🎄❤️🤶🎅🎁
Hello Hillbilly and thank you for subscribing! I think Tennessee is absolutely a fantastic place to live. I always enjoy it no matter what season I visit. North Carolina is pretty awesome too. My in-laws have a small vacation cabin near Hendersonville. Christmas Blessings to you and your family too!
First of all, a BIG welcome back, missed you greatly. Loved what you did today. I’ve done these these too, got inspired by my ginger bread man cookie cutter and used terra cotta clay from the $ 25 store and it was awful! Cracked when it dried and eventually fell apart! From now its DAS for me. Shocked you didn’t make the move, now I know why your room looks the same. 😂 Thought you took it with you. My day/life is complete now, love your videos.
Hello Gizmo, and thank you! I agree the Crayola clay was dreadful. I may add a bit of water next time to give it more slip, and will certainly apply cornstarch to my mat before attempting to roll it out. I had most of my craft room packed and stacked in the garage. When we made the decision to stay in Florida for the time being, I immediately brought my boxes inside to set up my craft room. I get such joy from crafting with all my Shabby friends and I’m so glad to be with you all again!
Do you ever feel so addicted to crafting that you don’t even want to do anything else everyday? I hope I calm down after Christmas so I can clean m house and get rid of so much stuff I’ve had for years piling up, (not a hoarder) trying to downsize and donate. You have you tube, what’s my excuse. Doing a Christmas bazaar this weekend and hoping to sell a lot of crafts, if not, then I’m calling it quits. Too much work. And I just don’t know what people here in Connecticut want and are willing to buy. I’m inspired by you, Green Acres, Our Shabby Cottage, Our Upcycled life, etc. I craft Shabby Sheik, Farmhouse, old signs, painted jars, stocking ornaments, distressed candle sticks, etc. I work with stencils, transfers, molds, etc. been told my crafts are beautiful. What am I doing wrong?
@@gizmo7877 I’m so sorry for the frustration you’re feeling! I’ve been there and it’s awful. I did sort, donate (mainly to my sister) and reorganize when I thought we were moving. I’m really enjoying my pared down space. Sending thoughts and prayers for a successful Christmas Bazaar! Knowing what people want to purchase is an age old conundrum. I do Markets occasionally, but stopped being an antique booth vendor. I found I have better luck setting up shop in my driveway or renting my neighborhood amenity center. I call it a “Sip and Shop” and serve light snacks and drinks. Of course I have all my crafts displayed, but I also brought blank wood pieces of various sizes for custom orders. The first time I did this in the amenities center, I made $4000! And it only cost me $50 to rent a huge room with a kitchen. I still have neighbors that order from me to this day. You may also want to consider starting your own youtube channel. It’s a fun little community and a wonderful creative outlet. Plus, you can make a little money once you get to 1000 subscribers. I follow those same gals on UA-cam too, and they are awesome! Many of them have their own website to sell their pieces. There are so many different ways to sell your handmade items, and I hope you find what works best for you!
I am so glad to see you back! I LOVE all your projects. I have some neat dollies and can't wait to try this. I sorry you didn't get to move, but I am very happy to be crafting with you again, also.
Thank you so much Shirley; I truly missed my Shabby friends! I hope you have as much fun making doily ornaments as I did. I know everything will work out just fine once those mortgage rates come down!
Becky, I was so excited to see a video from you, I was worried that maybe you had been affected by Ian. When God is ready for you to move everything will work out. You are right sounds like you have both awesome situations with family in each state. The ornaments turned out beautiful so glad you’re back crafting and inspiring us. 💜💜💜
Hi Vickie! We had lots of wind and rain from both hurricanes, but thankfully no damages. I agree, everything will happen in God's perfect timing. It's been exhausting to sort, pack, and reorganize, but it needed to be done anyway. Now, I am bringing boxes back into my craft room because I truly missed crafting with my Shabby friends!
So wonderful to see you again, Becky! 🤗I feel the frustration with interest rates right now, too. Praying it all works out in the end. Loved the ornaments. You always inspire me! 🥰
And it’s absolutely wonderful to be back! I was shocked that the mortgage rates doubled while our home was on the market. At least we weren’t in a situation where we HAD to move, and we will try again when the economy improves. I’m glad you liked the ornaments and I appreciate you watching!
Hello Becky, so delighted to see you again! Loved how all of these clay ornaments turned out (the little gingerbread man is adorable)! And thank you for the tips to prevent cracking...I did not know to do that! Hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving, and we'll see you again soon! ♥♥
Hi Lori! I missed all you gals and I’m glad to be back! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope your family did too. It took lots of trial and error for me to find what worked best to minimize cracking in my clay, and I’m glad you found them helpful!
Hi Becky! I’m so happy to see you back on here again! These ornaments are so beautiful. You come up with the best creative ideas and soo Shabby Chic! I can’t wait to make some. So sorry to hear your plans to move to TN didn’t work out. This is a hard time for everyone. Hopefully, things will get better soon. You say you’re in Fl. May I ask where? If you don’t mind.I’m in Fl too, Jacksonville.
Omg, I’m in St Johns between Jacksonville and St Augustine!!! Wouldn’t lunch and a trip to Hobby Lobby be fun?!? You are always so kind to me with your comments. Once the economy starts recovering, we will try selling our home again. In the meantime, life is still awesome!
@@kindashabby Oh my..what a small world! It would be awesome to meet up with you sometime. We live soo close. We need to make plans, just let me know. In the meantime, I’ll be looking forward to your next video!🥰
Hi Kathy and thank you! I bought mine from Amazon but can’t find them anymore. There is a similar set at Michael’s, and it’s on sale right now too! www.michaels.com/clickable-uppercase-stamp-set-by-recollections/10656553.html
Becky, what is the top you have on the jars, you have the Pom pom ribbon in? I really enjoy your videos. I just found you a couple of days ago, and haven’t watched anyone else since .
Hello Elizabeth; I’m so glad you’re enjoying my videos! The top is a jar insert for a straw that is so useful for ribbon. I bought mine at Target but I found something similar on Amazon. Thank you for watching! Ball Sip & Straw Lids, Fits Regular Mouth Mason Jars (2 Lids and 2 Straws)
It’s so good to be crafting and filming again! We actually decided to stay in Florida until the economy improves; mortgage rates just keep climbing. I started working on new Christmas crafts today so I’ll see you soon!
Hello and please pardon my late response. We were planning on moving to the outskirts of Chattanooga but ended up staying here in Florida until the economy improves.
I definitely won't be making any ornaments out of air dry clay. It is very fragile and breaks very easily especially Crayola brand. I will be making some out of polymer clay
I agree, the Crayola clay is absolute rubbish. I’ve made many ornaments over the years with the DAS clay with good success. I’ve never used polymer clay; I’ll have to check it out.
Becky I can't tell you how glad I am to see you again. You have been missed. I've been binge watching your previous videos again, and hoping you would be back. Your crafts are truly high end and so inspirational.

@@piafico4692 I work from home so whatever works best for you is perfect! You can DM me on Instagram and we will get this all planned out. Yay!!!
Where did you find your clickable stamps? Your ornaments are so beautiful!
Hi Kathy and thank you! I bought mine from Amazon but can’t find them anymore. There is a similar set at Michael’s, and it’s on sale right now too!

What brand of letter imprinting do you use? Many of the say they are hard to work with.....

YOU'RE BACK!!!! How is TN?
It’s so good to be crafting and filming again! We actually decided to stay in Florida until the economy improves; mortgage rates just keep climbing. I started working on new Christmas crafts today so I’ll see you soon!
What part of TN? I lived there since 1971 but had to move the first of the year. ❤

Thank you!
