Thank you. This post really helped me to find out what's going on with my Bettas. About the water quality.....I clean my tank regularly, change the water, test it, and do everything you are supposed to, but my water is ALWAYS cloudy. Do you know what else I should be doing? I even used the water clarifier sometimes to see if it gets better, but it doesn't help.
Have you tried 1. a different filter that fits your filter? (This did it for me.) 2. Removing any Betta wood 3. make sure you're cleaning your gravel really well before putting water back in the tank after a cleaning 4. Make sure you're not leaving ANY soap in the tank if you use it to clean it 5. Make sure you're washing your hands and rinsing your hands very well before putting them in the tank 6. Replacing any worn decor
Hey there! I just want to quickly mention. When you keep fish there will be a Nitrogen cycle. Which is basically helpful bacteria that lives in your tank that helps keep the water clean. If you clean your tank out and rinse your gravel with soap or just even tap water you’re killing the helpful bacteria. I would highly recommend looking up the Walstad method. It’s helped me a lot in my fish keeping journey! I would also watch a few Aquarium Co-op videos. I hope this helps! (I tried to keep this as short as possible but happy to go in more detail and help as much as I can)
I have a betta fish it is in 2 liter water and no heater no water purifira and in a plastic box it is young and i am from nepal how long will it survive
Honestly it was hard process, this are the medicines i trust and use. Try aquarium salt (amzn.to/3OCTZaH) bath for few days. If that doesn't improve, use methylene blue (amzn.to/4459L44) and almond leaves amzn.to/43prqnC But these options for faster and healthy recovery. 1. How is your Betta doing? Did you get anything new for it? They can be pretty resilient sometimes.
