This feels like a kangaroo court. Why did on earth does an attorney come unprepared. There is no purpose for this whole court. Money goes back to the foundation. /Kyle.
That unprepared attorney was rushed into the court to represent the hedge fund that 'invested' in the bail bond fund raising. They had no skin in the game, in reality.

Why does there have to be a hearing to get his bail money back if he was found not guilty?
There was a dispute over who to send the money to. The account that posted the bail was closed because Mr. Pierce's firm went bankrupt.
When the state decides to screw you it never ends.
His bail was paid with various donations so I suppose it’s to determine who to pay it to.
@@imnotftw If you listen to this hearing you'll find out. TLDR; There's a financial firm that wants the money because they think they have claim to it due to Mr. Pierce's debt belonging to the financial company. I won't ruin the outcome for you.
There was a party who came forward stating that THEY were the ones entitled to the money, because they 'donated' to the pool of money... a hedge fund who deemed that the Rittenhouse bond would be a 'good investment' of their clients' money. The judge was literally scratching his head on that belief, and even realized that the motion brought about by the attorney representing the hedge fund was poorly done, in a hurry... totally unprofessional. Even the attorney looked 'unprofessional'... dirty hair, unkempt. I think Mark Richards was trying to get as far away from her as possible, but had to share the defense table (the table that is normally used by the defense team in criminal cases, so it's called that in every hearing/trial) with her. Everyone who donated, knew it was going to kyle and they would never see the money again. The person who it was donated to should get the money because it was a political trial anyway. He was innocent based on video from the beginning. In sure his attorney will get a giant chunk and kyle will get the rest if any. The website already got their share
Not sure you realize how bail works. The bail was a loan to the government to guarantee Kyle wouldn’t run. Kyle himself is the surety of the loan. He didn’t run. So now the government cannot keep the money. It must be returned to the entities who loaned it. The money doesn’t belong to him though and the hope is to lend it out again to protect other innocent victims, of which there are many unfortunately.
The funds came from donations donated specifically to support kyle. They pulled said funds to bail him out. Now that he won the case of guilty until proven innocent, he gets some, his lawyer gets some. The "crowd funding company" already made their money
