I own a TS2 Racing Green and it’s every bit as good as advertised. I entered my first ever pistol competition against people with all kinds of red dots, etc. and won the tournament out of 64 competitors using just the iron sights.
I have a CZ Czechmate set. I'm a 72 year old grandma that just started shooting anything 3-1/2 years ago. I hated 9mm in the beginning stages but absolutely love my CZ. The balance is wonderful and it doesn't feel like a weighty gun. So far it is rock reliable although I just got it late in 2022. My only complaint (and it is so minor) is the trouble finding a dot cover for the C-More sight that came with it. I did finally find one that works brilliantly. Unrelated to the CZ, the C-More sight that it came with died on me whilst I was on fire! that was highly annoying but C-More did fix the dot without fuss (I only had it a week, no dropping). That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I bought one of the first CZ75's ever imported into the country. I would have to warn anyone who shoots a CZ is your going to what more. I'm up to 10 now.
I have the blue TS2 and mounted a green vector dot in place of the rear sight. The trigger is amazing! The range I use is 40 yards and I start warm up at 25 and then move out, which is where the optic helps a lot. I guess I could spend $5K on a high power or a staccato. But with the CZ I get everything I want for range pleasure. Love it.
I love the Racing Green is an awesome firearm. I like the new style thumb rest/gas pedal, different from the TSO. The Racing Green gives you a better thumb placement. Congrats on your new firearm.
Great video review, thanks. My favorite pistol in my collection by far. I did same modifications like yours. I have a great time shooting at the range, never had any problems. Trigger is very very light and took sometime to get to control.
Nice video! I have several CZ pistols; TS2 Racing Green, Shadow 2 (black gripped), P01, P06 and some Tanfoglio pistols and love them all. Every one of them shoot point of aim with no adjustment needed for windage. Couple needed a couple of clicks of elevation. I shoot at a steel cowboy at 31 yards and rarely ever miss it.
i own a CZ P10 F and absolutely love it, and i really have my eye on the racing green and think im gonna pick it up soon and get into some local comp matches, thanks for the review
I’m really considering getting the SA CGW kit for my orange shadow 2. It’s amazing out of the box but I would like the SA trigger pull to be tightened up
I just ordered one from psa for $1,425. It’s my first CZ. Saw it in a local shop and just feels amazing. Can’t wait to shoot!! Thanks for the video. Helped validate my choice
Yes, it is an extremely accurate weapon, when I firing quickly. I like it more than TSO and Shadow 2 because it fits better in my large palms. The adapter for TSO fits TS2 Green only with spacer washers. What adapter do you use for your red dot and where did you get it?
@@SMASHTIME you are NOT wrong. I believe that’s because it’s one of the mags they include with the czeckmate / cm parrot. Gotta charge a premium for it, naturally. 😂 🙄
I bought my first CZ shadow 2 optics ready. I couldn't quit smiling after shooting it! The trigger is amazing. My next one is going to be the tac sport 2. I'm hooked! What is the trigger weight on the TS 2? Thanks
Thanks for your review. I owned a CZ TSO and lved the gun, however it kept jamming before loading it inn the barrel. It was so badly jammed I had to send it back to CZ 3 times and finally they got so mad at me they bought the gun back from me. I know a lot of folks will say it was ammo but failure to load in my opinion is usually the guns fault when its crushed by the slide prior to entering the barrel. I was curious if you or anyone else has had similar problems with this gun. CZ said they found no gun defects but it wasnt ammo issues so it had to be slide issues. I guess it was easier to just buy the gun than fix it. I own 4 other CZ pistols and the CZ scorpion and have never had an issue with any of those. I am thinking about buying another CZ TSO2 even though CZ told me to never buy another. Go figure.
I bought a previously loved CZ Shadow 2 and it stove piped on me at the range a couple times on the first session directly after purchase. Took it home, took it apart, cleaned it thoroughly, installed the heavy spring and problem solved. It is wonderful. The slide and trigger are silky smooth 😊. If you don't already, get a bore snake and use it every time you finish shooting. Also do a thorough cleaning, with quality supplies, at regular intervals with any firearm and try not to use dirty ammo.
Excelente video. Consulta. Tanto como a la Green como a la Bronze, no se le puede agregar una óptica en la zona donde actualmente esta la original usando alguna placa? Gracias
Enjoyed you video sir, I went to purchase one but it was not in stock. They had a ts1 but I already own a shadow 2 with about 2000-3000 rounds thru it and didn’t feel it would be noticeably different. Love the cz platform, have the rami, 97bd, p10f 45 acp, po7 and the shadow 2 kadet 22lr kit.
Just picked up CZC-A01-LD. My first CZ. I have the Sig 210 Target and love the reverse rail system which CZ also has. I haven’t tried the CZC yet but will report back when I do.
Cz pcr, sp01 tactical, sp01 competition, shadow 2, tso, checkmate and my tso 2 just showed up. So I have a couple only one that let me down is the sp01 competition it definitely isn’t what it should be even after Cajun guns works. What is/was your plan for the racing green… range toy or competition. What game? Which division. Why racing green over tso2. The racing green seems to be more like the tso being it has a barrel bushing and standard profile barrel? Just curious.
You know a buddy Picked up this gun and wanted to trade for my MPX. His was Brand new and I had about 6K rounds through my MPX. I felt it was a good trade. Its a gun I take out with new shooters as its super easy to shoot.
I have the CZ TS2 racing green. I am looking for a sidemount like yours. Can you link to mount and charging handle. Since i am living in denmark it may be difficult to get sidemount if it is an american brand with export rules and taxes. Here we shoot it at 25 meters with ironsights and the stay within 30 centimeters. Great video.
I have a shadow 2 optic ready, Lok grips and Holosun 508t green dot. I shoot it better than my buddies staccato and wilsons. I would love to pick up a CZ Chechmate someday
Nice content! I agree with the grip colors popping and grabbing attention! That’s the same reason I like my Beretta A400 Xcel with the blue receiver, people know what it is(or want to find out about it) when they see it! Same thing for those bright grips! I wanted the blue grip CZ Shadow 2 for a while before I bought it, got the SAO model then bought the Urban Grey model Shadow 2! I love CZs ! I own 6 total! I have a P07, PCR, SP01 Tactical Urban Grey Suppressor Ready, 2 Shadow2s(blue grip and the Urban Grey)and the 97BD! They are the gun worlds best kept secret! Thank you for the content! Keep shooting brother!
The only issue on the CZ TS2 with thumb rest is lots of my Asian female friends with small hands can’t reach the far away thumb rest, looks like the designer didn’t include these potential customers! Otherwise this is a almost perfect gun!
@@SMASHTIME Do you have to tap it in and out of the beaver tail each time, or does the angled part unscrew? As a righty, I feel the Toni angled racker would be a lot easier to operate than the ones at CZC that are perfectly horizontal, but if those let me remove the slide with less hassle I might still go that route. Already going to seek out a gun smith to drill the 2 pegs holes for the CZC mount as I don't have the confidence level to take a drill to a ~$2k gun.
@Smash Time can you please link me to the exact red dot side mount, plate for holosun optic, screws for side mount, and charging handle? I want this exact setup and have a TS2 racing green!
I’m so confused what class they intended this for. It’s seems like IPSC, but there is a lateral move to this Open Minor with no comp or some weird mashup that doesn’t allow race holsters.
I see the green TS 2 is discontinued for 2023. They have a blue grip model that appears to be sort of the entry TS 2 with no gas pedal and a yellow grip model that seems to more directly compare to the green model. The gas pedal on the yellow model is angled quite a bit differently. I wonder if the triggers are all the same on these 3 guns. Also, was that extended mag release button a problem for you? Looks like an annoying obstacle to my grip.
I have the TS2 9mm for steel challenge and Shadow 2 for USPSA. I would love a TS2 40 S&W for USPSA. But also don’t want to pay for higher priced ammo. Haha
Nothing as managable as TS2 guns.combination of that 1.5 pound light trigger out of case and gun weight and non-tilted barrel makes this the best. it is a pleasure using expensive ammo through this gun.

CZ P10 has the best factory trigger on the market hands down. And the 10F shoots so flat for a polymer frame gun
CZ-75 is hands down my favorite platform. I run an sp01 cajunized and the SA is around 2.75 lbs. My buddies call my gun "the cheat code" 🤣

Nice gun! Excuse what type of optic mount are you using? It fit the CZC Tso mount for the Ts2 or its a special mount?
