I have a dream of building a capture synth using this thing. It should look like a modern all metal mellotron. It can sample pedals, different synths, and modular synth modules and play them back and then be able to use them all together in creative ways.
This is awesome. Love the dummy blocks idea. I run my FX loop pedals fully wet, trying to figure out a good way to work this way as I have to use the mix on the FX Loop or Return. Did they add anything in CorOS 3 for midi blocks?
Hi, i just got a quad cortex and I hooked up my strymon cloud burst, input of CB to send QC and output of CB to return QC, then added fx loop in the signal chain. The sound of the ensemble is terrible and not as rich and good when it’s the CB ensemble straight to my headrush frfr speaker. Are you able to share any tips to make the CB sound clear and rich when connected to the QC? Thank you
Brian, great video. However, you lost me on the dummy blocks in the QC loop. I get the "dummy" part, but are the dummy blocks sending on/off CC messages to the pedals on different midi channels? Thanks again, big fan of Chairmen of the Board!
Midi. You can program each foot switch to send one CC or PC message. Don’t know how you can have one foot switch that both turns the pedal on and off though. I only use PC message with my QC so I’m not super familiar.
Have you run into anything with a like 60hz noise almost grounding issue when you plug in the quarter inch jacks for either effects loop send and return in the QC?
Nice set up. Looks really versatile.

I had the same question. He must be sending CC on/off messages with those dummy blocks since they’re all in the same loop
The meraki is amazing. Wish it had pc midi presets but it’s so lovely I don’t care. Have mine in a g3 based board with a dig v2 and ruby/dream etc
How are you switching the pedals on and off with foot switches on the QC?

I have not

What’s up with the left right balance/pan?
What’s up?
@@omilionaudio Do you not hear it? The left channel is hotter than the right channel. And for some reason it balances out when you engage the Deco.
