I'm always surprised about the little attention given to General at Sea Robert Blake.
I figure it's due to his success, and that success led to Regicide, but I also guess you can argue genocide.
If it wasn't for him, what would of become of Cromwell?
Understandably the Irish weren't super stoked about Cromwells arrival, but who hasn't committed a genocide in Ireland?

Superb history video, but I'm gonna nit-pick...... Vivaldi's Winter from The Four Seasons was composed around 1718-20, some 50-60 years after the events covered in this doc. Great tune though.
I decided to abort viewing cos your music was irritatingly too loud. Too bad
Fire whoever decided to botch this great documentary by adding loud repetitive classical music completely inappropriately. Narrator + the din of batlle + bloody Vivaldi is too much for me. Managed to hold out for half an hour, at which point I wanted to strangulate and toss my device into the wall.
