Human 1: "were down, deploy the base and launch the raptors!" *Danger Zone starts to play* Human 2: "All birds launched, prepping choppers now!" *Airwolf theme starts to play*
Large craft with weapons only on one side? AC-130 Gunships?? I note that there were no mentions of their attacks made. Probably because they never reached their targets before the lighter aircraft forced surrenders. I don't think F-22 Raptors were deployed. The descriptions seem to match F-15 E Strike Eagles and A-10 Mark 2 'Warthog' aircraft. Both of which, can carry hefty loads of ordinance. Since radar-guided munitions are not allowed, no 'stealth' aircraft were needed. So, no F-117, F-22, or F-23 stealth aircraft were needed. Also, the terrain interference would play havoc with 'fly by wire' guidance systems, so the hydraulics of the older craft would come into their own in such a theater of operations. Combat Engineers to layout and spike down a 'ready-made, quick deployment' landing strip to recover craft initially launched via catapult. VTOL craft were probably Harrier jump jets, or perhaps V-22 Osprey craft. Unless the older types of helicopters were deployed, in which case Cobra gunships would be used due to hydraulic control systems.
@franksmedley8619 Based on the description of a distortion about the aircraft, it would have to be some kind of rotary wing aircraft instead of the harrier or osprey. This could include the huey helicopter.
@@GuardianSage : Agreed. There are plenty of old Huey whirlybirds still around to be used. Also, earlier generations of the attack choppers, like the Cobra used by the USMC during the mid-70s through the mid-80s.
If he does it, season 3 would be sea, 4 space, and 5 would be full combined arms. The only problem is that full combined arms would be too much like an actual full-on war to be reasonable for the war games. Not to mention that space would be a pain in the backside.
I just had an Inspired Idea -- what about bringing Ka50/Ka52 and Hinds? First two can make quuuuite a surprise with their maneuverability, and latter is pretty much a "flying tank" , and that here we just be talking the basic "Modern" type crafts, if there's a Rule against higher tech level "toys"
@@sin-text857 well, based off the flight profile, and the BRRRRRRRRRRRT of a A-10 Warthog 2 cousins or the "a plane around the gun" itself, I was guessing its been mostly EU/US Craft mentioned, so my spontaneous idea was, remembering the Kamov copters doing some quite spectacular aerial acrobatics, and Hinds being pretty much "flying tank" type, what with the size and the armoring😅😅
I see us bring in some A-10s, C-130s, F-16s, F-22s, and some choppers. If it ain't broke, don't fix. If it's still serviceable, don't replace or alter. Edit: sounds like B-2s are there.
Oooo this is gonna be lit !!! Please tell me we're gonna be seeing some of those lil weaponized crop dusters SF is using ...think their called sky wardens ?

Nascar and war had a baby poor space people
Now I'm going to re listen to season 1 again
I'm imagining all the medical staff with their chins in one hand, idly swirling a pen with the other.
😂😂😂 yeahhhh, Human Aircraft are HELLA durable and can still fly with half its parts shot up!
Wohoo, It's war game season!
Wow, we just kicking their ass with just old military vehicles
A- 10s!
R2's kicking butts.
This reminds me of watching "wide world of sports" growing up.

I never mentioned which attack helicopter's they used. Both use rocket pods and guided missiles along with autocannons.
