I ruined what could've been an alright drawing.....it seems like the harder i try to perfect an imperfection, it just gets worse. so I keep it non chalamt and just let my hand flow..?it usually always turns out a lot better tht way.

I just want to thank Sophie. I was 7 when I came across this video, I was so amazed by how she had drawn the girl, I wanted to give it a try. It obviously looked bad, but I didn't gave up. Today, I am 15, at the 8th year of my drawing journey. I switched to a semi-realistic fantasy drawing style and I am creating OC's. It was all possible thanks to Sophie. If I wouldn't have seen this video, I wouldn't have been an good artist today. Again, thank you so much, Sophie, this means a lot to me.

i saw on how much negative messages, about how they ' cant make a circle' and ' cant even make a stick man'. i used to be one of those guys too, but i have improved. First, you must keep trying and keep your hopes up, and in due time, you will slowly improve and learn your mistakes. Second, there is no such thing as 'True Art' art are all different in their own way and thats what makes art special. so, be determined and NEVER let your hopes down!

ArtAngel Girl if you really did give up on art please don't it just takes practice and time, also I this tutorial didn't explain much like other tutorials if your a beginner and can't follow along I mainly suggest Learn2DrawManga well it's was easy for me to follow along now I can understand what's going on here XD

I recently started getting in to manga and anime and I decided that I would start drawing I have made a few but it takes me a while to make them I wanted to watch this video so it would take me less time but I then released I draw using a very different process of using my judgement to make the head shape and eye placement. I released my way was better because it let me truly express my personality and the way i think people should look. I hope you took the time to read my comment and I hope you will realize whatever way you draw is better than using this shortcut witch makes your drawing look just like everyone else's I also hope you will add your personality to your drawings.
you know i drew it like in the tutorial. It looked a bit strange so i kept on eraseing and drawing again. After i thought it was fine i walked out and waited an hour or two and came back. I found another mistake. I did that for one day now, and it doesnt even look that bad. Dont give up guys. You will make it i believe in you

I remember following this tutorial 6 years ago when i first started drawing. I came to watch it again today and I'm proud to say I've improved so much. I would draw this face over and over again after watching this and it really pushed me to improve when I was younger so thank you

Since that day i found my drawing style and i start getting deeper into manga and anime. you are maybe the first artist I've seen without using a mechanical pencil. It's good to see a artist like you using a pencil, because I don't have a mechanical pencil, and know that I can relate the art making of drawing without the difference of utensils. It makes it easer for me.
This video is the first one that I’ve seen on how to draw anime i finished the tutorial and i think it looked great. I then showed my mom and she was amazed and in shock. The next day later i heard my mom and dad talking about my drawing that i made the night before, i was happy when i heard them, so i decided to show everyone in my classroom. In that very day i gained a new friend. It’s been three years since and i got accepted into one of the best art high schools in my state. The eyes are always my favorite part. The actual head is what fucks me over every time.
The hair is my favorite part, and the face is pretty fun, just need to make the circle big sometimes

you know i drew it like in the tutorial. It looked a bit strange so i kept on eraseing and drawing again. After i thought it was fine i walked out and waited an hour or two and came back. I found another mistake. I did that for one day now, and it doesnt even look that bad. Dont give up guys. You will make it i believe in you

I just can't believe it. 4 years ago i was looking about what to draw, then i saw this vídeo, and it calls my attention, then i saw it. Since that day i found my drawing style and i start getting deeper into manga and anime. Today 4 years later (2016) i found the first tutorial i saw for drawing anime and manga and i'm just like wow, i can't believe it's so much time past, and i'm really happy with my progress. you are maybe the first artist I've seen without using a mechanical pencil. It's good to see a artist like you using a pencil, because I don't have a mechanical pencil, and know that I can relate the art making of drawing without the difference of utensils. It makes it easer for me.

This video is the first one that I’ve seen on how to draw anime i finished the tutorial and i think it looked great. I then showed my mom and she was amazed and in shock. The next day later i heard my mom and dad talking about my drawing that i made the night before, i was happy when i heard them, so i decided to show everyone in my classroom. In that very day i gained a new friend. It’s been three years since and i got accepted into one of the best art high schools in my state. Anyway i just wanted to say thank you for making me find the thing I’m best at and i just wanted you to know that i have gone so far because of this one video. Thank you.
