America's Highest State: The Effects of Altitude

- This is the HIGHEST state in America. Living here can cause some insane effects. The last one blew my mind! 😱🤯
The bad:
1 in 4 people coming from sea level will deal with symptoms of High Altitude Sickness with headaches, nausea, dizziness, trouble sleeping and vomiting.
And food takes longer to cook.
The good:
Less Covid at altitude.
For sports - balls go further.
You live longer.
You loose weight.
Which one is your favorite?

So you're telling me I can keep in shape, just by walking to the supermarket? *And* the nature is beautiful? Sign me up.
I moved in Colorado and then left. It was a dream move. Later found out job satisfaction is more important than place of living. Still Colorado is beautiful!
Yeah nah I can't move back to California they ruined norcal with disgusting palms tree I don't care how good the jobs are norcal isn't tropical or desert keep ppams out or I'm staying out
this channel is underrated
I've been experiencing the opposite since I have Anemia. I have gained weight here and have a hard time losing it. Even my Anemia got worse. Would someone like me do better at sea level. I'm originally from California and have been out here 3 1/2 yrs. Experiencing weight struggles like I have never experienced in my life.
@@olivertrumanjr9556 thanks for that! We are working towards moving back to Southern California 🌊🌞 meanwhile, I found Dr. Gabrielle Lyon on a lot of podcasts and she’s here on UA-cam- it’s helped me get back on track with resistance training and eating right. Still a process getting the weight off. I need to lose about 55 or 60lbs
@@olivertrumanjr9556 there’s a Uhaul here in the Springs on Tejion
We were there last week i got so sick. Absolutely fatigued. Nauseated.
I came home and i feel like im going insane. I feel overwhelming depression. Going to call doctor tomorrow. Its awful. I had no idea
Amazing editing!
man i live in CO, but i get altitude sickness every time i even go slightly into the mountains. these people exercising and jumping around on mountains blow my mind, i would be flopping around like a fish out of water. I camped up there this weekend and one of the effects of altitude sickness is constantly having to pee to keep your PH normal lol.
Interesting, I wonder if growing up in a place like that your body would adapt? I didn't know I lived 1,800m/ 6000ft above sea level until I was 13, never even noticed. I wonder if i grew up in the corn fields if I would be affected by the change
how on earth does this only have 1k views???
duuuuuude! your channel is very interesting and underrated. You made me find money to visit Colorado)
Thanks for letting me know I’m not actually a fat ass when going upstairs. Also, thanks for informing me that I’m actually not that good at top golf…
