I have a question, is this video supposed to stretch your muscles to be able to do spilts or is it that we should first know how to do spilts and this is just some stretching cause I am a not able to do splits. Hope you answer it.
Hi girl! This video is to learn to get your splits! everything in life is about practicing so I make you practice your splits here even if you're not there yet, do your best every time you do this!
Doing this to see if i can do the splits!! (Day 1) its my first day so didnt see much change (day 2) same as day 1 (Day 3) stretches became easier (Day 4) Didnt had time today (day 5) was much closer to the ground!!
This video is very short and helpful for my splits! (As a teenager) Day 1: About like 1ft above the ground and painful Day 2: Still at least a 1ft but less painful Day 3: Felt great to do it that day but my splits might of improved by a little without me noticing Day 4: Probably improve by a little, felt great and got my muscles to stretch Day 5: Improved on my right by a little like an inch Day 6: I NOTICED MY LEFT SIDE WAS MORE DOWN THAN USUAL! Day 7: Really worked hard on it that day and left splits were still down farther Day 8- (the day I posted this comment) I just finished them today and felt great although I did them in jeans but yeah this is working and I’m going to continue to do it! If I learn how to update, I definitely will :)
This is NOT for everyone. I have been doing this literally every day for two months down to the t and have not come any closer to doing the splits. Yes flexibility improved in all the stretches but splits? Nothing at all. Not even an inch. The only good thing about this is doing it after leg day - no soreness when you get home.
I have been doing it nearly daily for about three weeks and it has gotten me closer, but not entirely there. It’s a good stretch but I agree may not be enough for everyone to get 100%. I might try another routine after next week
I can finally do the splits! I've been trying routines for months and this is really the one! It is very effective and I got it in three weeks! Never give up.
Lucky u, am still struggling!! Waking up with m hamstrings tight as shit until I do a bunch of stretches . I hate but I love it. See u y’all wen I get there.
Did you do it 2 times a day? how flexible where you when you just started and up until now I just wanna know and are you able to do normal stretching without leg bending 😅
@@itsoktaee Tbh I actually tried Anna Mcnulty’s split challenge and gave up after I couldn’t get them in two weeks. Then I realized I needed a shorter routine and one I could memorize and commit to. This one is truly amazing with quick results.
doing this everyday except fridays n saturdays until i can get a split: day 1: i definitely saw improvement from my first "split" which was WAY off the ground. the first days are the hardest, but i'll try and keep going. day 2 (saturday skipped): didn't see much progress, but since it's the 2nd day it's natural. day "3": i skipped this day because it was halloween and i was out all night 😭 day 4: same as day 2, im more used to the stretches though! day 5: ive almost memorized the stretching pattern!!!! now to just be consistent day 6: felt way harder today for some reason day 7: god it hurt a lil but we gotta keep going day 8: its been putting strain on my kness because i cant afford a yoga mat💀 but same as day 2 day 9: SUPER SORE because i did dance practice before😭 my tryouts are from tues-friday!! ill update you everyday when it happends I GOT INTO THE DANCE TEAM! AND MY SPLITS ARE REALLY CLOSE, about an inch to the ground? it's been like.. A WHILE. but i have my splits down period and i got my middle,, sooo
I've been doing this for a week, and it has shown results. At the beginning of the week, I was about a foot from touching the ground on my splits now I am about 3 inches from touching the ground. (Will keep you updated for when I'm able to reach my full split.) Omg I'm so sorry I forgot to update, Yess I have reached my split, but I still continue to do the routine because I don't want to lose flexibility which I hear is really common if you stop stretching.
gonna hold myself accountable this time because i want a side split. please like so i can remember to come back and update my progress for others day 1: it hurts a lot & im no where near close but after stretching i feel refreshed
I'm going to do this every day 2 times for 7 days, I'll update each day! Day1: I did it once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. The morning was kind of hard, since I've never done the splits and I'm not super flexible. I did notice the stretched didn't hurt like other videos! Day 2: I noticed It seemed helpful to just stretch better in the morning when I'm relaxed, so I took five deep breaths before and after each session. I didn't see much progress, but towards the end of the day, I felt it got slightly easier, and I may have gone down a little bit farther than before! Day 3: I didn't do it twice, so it didn't feel like much progress, but it definitely feels nice to stretch! Day 4: I didn't do it, I was too busy. Day 5: I felt so much closer to the ground, maybe 6 inches at the nost, and I started at about 1 foot from the ground Day 6: Felt about the same as yesterday, the hamstring stretch was way easier on the right leg! Day7: Did see much progress, but trying my best!
I was having severe leg muscle pain. Almost two days and a lot of stretching, nothing was working. I did this stretch routine, and my pain has significantly reduced! Thank you
These hurt so much but after doing a few of them i saw improvement in my front split and its only been like what 3-5 mins? Ima try and do this everyday twice. Some of them hurt like hell and some of them i cant balance on but ill manage
Splits has been on my bucket list for years. Starting today! Im going to do this every night. Ill comment again once i get it! Thank you for making an easy to follow video without talking and crap. Haha
@@mitchiegotmovesy7635 i weight lift and spin so idk if thats making me tighter. Still no splits. But im about an inch or two lower than when i started!
@@saardayers4572 i had to skip a week because of a back problem, im closer for sure, but still no splits! But even so, my legs feel so good and loose after
K guys I’ve already gotten my splits and I’m here to tell y’all that this works, so like right now I’m doing those stretches to keep my splits and make it better but yea. Just make sure you don’t over work your legs❤
Doing this and updating you guys! Day 1: It was okay, i did the stretches pretty well, the splits took some time but im gonna keep on practicing. :D (btw i didnt get the splits today lolz) Day 2:Got better, wasnt easy to do splits.. Day 3: So sore.. Day 4: Normal! I feel real better and even thougu im not even close to the splits, i got a feeling ill get it!
I never stretch constantly so I'll try commenting and maybe it will give me motivation [1] July 15 ✅️ my right split is worse than left [2] July 16 ✅️ im like 2 palms away from the ground [3] July 17 ❌️ I was too distracted the whole evening so I forgot to stretch😭 I will stretch twice tomorrow for exchange. [4] July 18 ❌️ same thing happened as yesterday... [5] July 19 ✅️ finally didn't skip!!! My right leg is not so stretchy but doing the left split is fun :) I may try a longer stretching routine tomorrow for the days I skipped, since I should have time all day. [6] July 20 ❌️ I had to skip today because I got my period🥲 [7] July 21 ✅️ I just stretched and it's 3:30pm so I was very stiff since i havent moved today at all. Worse than any other days, but it's okay! [8] July 22 ✅️ I dont know why but some stretches feel more uncomfortable than usual [9] July 23 ✅️ Wow my left side stretches felt good! Also I feel like Im at the same point as in the beginning :( [27] August 10 ✅️ [28] August 11 ✅️ Stretching felt the same as usual but after stretching I got weird neck shoulder pain... hopefully it goes away🥲 [29] August 12 ✅️ Honestly im not sure if Ive done any progress since I havent really measured but I think that at least my right side stretches are getting better and more comfortable! [30] August 13 ✅️ So this is a little weird. I actually feel comfortable on my left split but it's like im stuck on it and cant get more down? It doesn't hurt or anything. Am I doing something wrong lol?!?!?!?!? [31] August 14 ✅️ Although I can't do the splits yet, I definitely think I have improved! It feels much more comfortable and I think im making progress slowly but surely😊 [32] August 15 ❌️ Was super busy and came home late so couldn't do it [33] August 16 ✅️ [34] August 17 ✅️ So I did this stretch but couldnt do it well when stretching my left leg because i may have pulled a muscle or something there😅 [35] August 18 ❌️ I decided not to stretch today just to make sure I dont cause myself any injuries😁 [36] August 19 ✅ [37] August 20 ✅ [38] August 21 ✅ [39] August 22 ✅ [40] August 23 ✅ [41] August 24 ✅ Ouch. When I was trying to do the left split my left leg hurt. I hope it was just momentary, otherwise might have to consider taking a little break again (hopefully not though🥲). I should probably consider doing warm-ups before stretching to prevent injuries and loosen my muscles😅 [42] August 25 ✅ [43] August 26 🔂 My left hamstring hurts, so I only stretched the right side. [44] August 27 ❌ Taking a break from stretching to prevent injuries as my both hamstrings are hurting right now🥲 [45] August 28 ❌ Same thing as yesterday [46] August 29 ❌ [47] August 30 ✅ I'm back to stretching bitchesss!! Still hurting a bit but taking it slowly!!!! I got bored of updating but ill keep stretching😁
@@jasmin7072honestly since I havent measured I'm not sure. I still havent reached my split and I think itll take another month, at least, for me to get it. But this has definitely made leg stretching a little more comfortable and easier! Though I must say, yesterday I felt sooo good trying to do the split and it felt like I have a chance of reaching it some day soon :D
this was the closest i’ve ever been so doing the splits!! (never have before, just started pilates and really love it and stretching) but this was such a good video and i feel SOOOO good after this
Awesome and simple routine! I’m a truck driver and I’ll be doing this 3 times a week! Really helps that I can progress on this movements while currently being quit unflexible and showed me which isometric stretches that I need to work on more. My right hip flexor tight as hell!
I'll try to do this everyday!! ^^ Day 1 ☑️ Done! It wasn't that hard tho Day 2 ❎ Didn't do this today bc i was really tired... Day 3 ☑️ Did it!! Day 4 ☑️ Day 5 ☑️ Day 6 ☑️ My right split is really bad, but my left one is improving really fast and i see a huge diffrence already! Day 7❎ Day 8❎ (happy bday to mee) Day 9☑️ Day 10 ☑️ Day 11 ❎ Day 12 ❎ Day 13 ☑️ Did it after two days break ^^ Day 14 ❎ was too tired to do this😭 Day 15 ☑️ Day 16 ☑️ Did this twice today ^^I feel that my right split improved!! I don't really see a diffrence in my left split tho ;( Day 17 ☑️ Day 18 ☑️ I kinda think that my right split got better than the left one? Cause when I started the left split was def better. But my right split is sooo close!! Day 19 ❎ I really try not to skip but i couldn't do it 😭 Day 20 ☑️ Did it even tho i didn't have motivation 👍👍
Just gonna add this so if someone is having the same issues , I’ve been stretching for 3 years (not everyday besides when I did a 2 month challenge) and still in the same spot 🥲 it definitely keeps me flexible but nowhere near the splits. I’m fairly fit and young also. So if you feel discouraged, just keep at it , we are all built differently.
I've always wanted to be able to do the splits but even when i did gymnastics as a kid i never quite got there. I'm gonna try and do this once a day for as long as i can to see if i can finally get there! like to remind me to update plss :)))) Starting: My split is like a foot of the ground Day 1- ✅ burned doing it but it felt good at the same time Day 2- ✅ I felt less motivated today but i did it and i think it hurt a bit less? Day 3- ✅ Did it maybe my splits a little closer to the ground? thats probably wishful thinking tho Day 4- ❌ Didn't have enough time Day 5- ✅ Did it! Day 6- ❌ My house is undergoing renovation and it my house was a bit chaotic so I didn't do it. Day 7- ✅ Done.
my hamstrings are tighttt that's the only thing keeping me from getting my splits. i'm about a foot from the floor and i've been stretching everyday and deep stretching 3x a week. i hope i can just keep motivation until i get them
in my day 1, i don’t know how to split so i’m watching this and i can’t touch the floor flat when i do the low ones cause it kinda hurt 😅 and alot of cramping lmao i’ll update in day 2
omg i saw my comment and it’s also my 1 month process now, i have a lot of improvements and i already feel more comfortable doing it. i’m finally kinda able to do a split in my right legs but i’m glad there were improvements
finally putting some effort into my splits again!! day 1 (wed) definitely felt that in my legs and i really have to get used to doing splits again but i'm really motivated!! day 2 (thu) did it in the morning and i felt so much discomfort!! day 3 (thu) been very busy so day 3 came later than expected but it felt pretty good! did it in between my study sessions to unwind and regain focus. took a few deep breaths and im really feeling progress!
Some these stretches do not seem like they’re for beginners. The low lunge grab foot is extremely hard for me to do. Idk how the fuck people are able to just reach their fucking ankle….
After two months of being stuck on the couch due to a broken bone I totally lost my splits on the injured side, but this simple routine has helped me get them back! Thank you SO much, the simple accountability of following someone else stretching has been exactly what I needed to get back into it!
Okay today is Sunday and I did this video for the first time. I’m gonna update every Sunday. Week 0: I’m not inflexible, but I have never been able to do the splits. The stretch was nice but hard because I’m like 30 cm from the ground with my good leg 😅 Week 1: Did it 5/7 days, once a day. I got more flexible and especially feel more room in my hips. I feel like this is a really effective stretch! Gonna keep goingggggg
I am a skater and I use this video to increase my flexibility on ice! Today my coach had us do lunges and I got mine first try (just couldn't get back up lol.) Thanks so much Daniela!!
THIS WAS GOOD ROUTINE!!!!! I'm just few centimeters before i could touch the ground. This is so far the most effective routine for splits for me. The others only give me pain the next day 😩 but this one i can do it in just one try ❤️ thank u so much!
@@avalittlenightmares i was actually doing other stretches when i found this video. I made it in the first try but not totally touching the floor on the other leg (i can do it in other leg in the first try). I did it everyday for a week and I can do it inthe other leg now, though it was harder unlike the other side (probably because of my scoliosis).
hey :D i am going to start today onwards for about two weeks since i’m gonna have my senior year exams later 😢 but i’ll see how much do i get out of these stretches! i’ll try to update. DAY 1:
I’m going to try this everyday for a week! I’m a dancer and I really need my splits, I hope this works:) Day 1: ✅ some of the exercises were kinda hard for me but it’s because I just can’t get my thigh down to the ground. I ended up doing some of my own exercises that I use after this one Day 2: ✅ I wasn’t actually sore at all! I was used to some of the exercises and they felt more easy, I’m not sure if there’s a difference from day 1 tho.
Today I started, I’ve always wanted to do the splits so why not learn how ya know!! Starting stats -feels very hard -split left 1 foot off ground (yikes lol) -split right 1 foot off ground (also yikes) Remind me to update please!! Day five!! I’m getting closer but it’s still tough, anyone have any more suggestions? Also im around 10 inches off the ground so progress Day nine, but I was on vacation so I missed a few days, still making slow progress! Day 11 (I think) WOW!! My right split is so close! Two weeks!!! Right splits are like three inches away! So so proud of myself and next update will be when I get my splits Three weeks! Almostttt not fully there yet though, I did take a couple days off Wow one month already! I had a big setback though, so my hips haven’t been squared so my splits are actually closer to 5 inches off
im also like a foot above the ground ive been doing this for a few days and im naturally flexible lol it really does take quite some time to reach a comfortable splits. dont give up!! im here w you girl
I used to almost have my splits but I let them go quite a long time ago & recently have been wanting to get them back. I’m going to do this twice every day.
Starting today, about 6 inches from ground, I’ll update every few days! Update: I’m not even gonna lie I forgot completely about this comment but I have been doing this almost daily and I’m happy to say I’m at about 4~ 4.5 inches off the ground !
Does it matter if you square your hips or not when doing the splits? I've heard that there are 2 different splits: the free splits and the squared splits. I can do the free splits, where my hips are not squared, but not the squared splits. Any advice to help me square my hips when doing the splits?
I don’t know if I made a comment because I can’t find it…So. I will do this for 30 days(Start 9/9/24-End 10/9/24) 9/9/24✅Day 1 (Late update😅sorry. School stuff man😭) 9/10/24 ✅ 9/11-13/24✅ 9/14/24✅ 9/15-16🚫Weekend 9/17✅ 9/18✅ 9/19-22🚫Rest😌 9/23-24🚫School work 9/25✅
I found this video 3 days ago and I’ve been doing it every morning! I’m loving this routine so will update on my journey This is 4 days later and I’ve noticed big change already in my flexibility!
I'm gonna try this for 30 days! This is my experience (I started at May 5): May 5: It was very painful.😂 My split was above the ground about 6.5 inches May 6: Its was painful, but not as painful as the first day. Still 6.5 above the ground May 7: I feel very motivated to stretch! My split lowered to 6.3 inches. Not much but hey! It's an improvement. May 8: I skipped this day to stretch cause I was busy May 9: It was getting easier to stretch. Split at 6.2 inches off the ground. May 10: My split became 6.0 inches off the ground 🎉. So far, my legs did not suffer any sore or cramps 😅
Trying to do for 3 weeks, here is the results from my experience: Day 1: It was pretty normal, painful at the first exercise but everything's fine since I do ballet for a long time, only did it 1 time today because at morning I was ill. Day 2: Only had time to stretch at night, also I went to my ballet class. I don't see any change, but at least I am memorizing the stretches. :) Day 3: I did it at night again,I am seeing changes because my splits got better. Anyway, next day I'll update y'all. Day 4: It was normal, dint saw changes and no splits. Day 5: skipped bc I was at my best friend's house. Day 6: did it but dint saw changes, but I can go further on the right leg. Day 9(?): GUYS I FINALLY REACHED IT BY THE RIGHT LEG!!! It is real, best workout if u really want the splits. :)
hi! i'm gonna update everyday i do this with my progress !! day one: felt rlly weird at first ! right leg is currently 7½ inches from the ground & my left is 6½ !!i'm hoping to be within 2 inches of the ground by the end of summer! day two: felt the same as yesterday ! but I got down to 6 inches on my right and 4½ on my left ! (update: i tried again & got to 5½ on my right leg! it also felt lower on my left, but i wasn't able to measure it, so we'll see tmrw !!) day three: went down to 4 inches on both legs ! day four: was really nervous to measure because of how sore i was all day, but i'm down to 3 inches on both legs day five: down to two inches on both legs !!!! i feel like i'm going to be stuck at this distance for a while, but i'm gonna keep trying everyday ! day six: back up to 2½ on the right & 3 on the left, but i think it's normal to go back up a little bit (??) so i'm gonna stick with it still ! day seven: wasn't able to measure today, but i feel a lot stiffer on the right side & a little bit on the left
Good video. Gives me the motivation to do the poses I don’t like doing but are much needed. The foot grabs just hits the sore spots from the front hip flexor to the glute on the same side, that really needed to be stretched out. Thank you 🙏🏼 Also what is the music from?
I like the beep when it’s time to change that way we don’t have to stare at the phone the whole time. Way more relaxing then some of the videos I’ve seen!
I lost my splits while popping my upper hamstring but after doing this routine a couple time a week, I have both right and left again! Would definitely recommend this
Hi Daniela,u need to keep your front leg straight while you are doing your splits, just a little reminder, am I right ? Or there is a reason that you can't keep your front leg straight?

Day 1: About like 1ft above the ground and painful
Day 2: Still at least a 1ft but less painful
Day 3: Felt great to do it that day but my splits might of improved by a little without me noticing
Day 4: Probably improve by a little, felt great and got my muscles to stretch
Day 5: Improved on my right by a little like an inch
Day 6: I NOTICED MY LEFT SIDE WAS MORE DOWN THAN USUAL!
Day 7: Really worked hard on it that day and left splits were still down farther
Day 8- (the day I posted this comment) I just finished them today and felt great although I did them in jeans but yeah this is working and I’m going to continue to do it! If I learn how to update, I definitely will :)
This is NOT for everyone. I have been doing this literally every day for two months down to the t and have not come any closer to doing the splits. I've been doing this for a week, and it has shown results. At the beginning of the week, I was about a foot from touching the ground on my splits now I am about 3 inches from touching the ground. (Will keep you updated for when I'm able to reach my full split.)
Omg I'm so sorry I forgot to update, Yess I have reached my split, but I still continue to do the routine because I don't want to lose flexibility which I hear is really common if you stop stretching.

Hey how's it going?
@@mehar.luvsss still can’t get fully to the ground but i’m way closer from where i started
I'm going to do this every day 2 times for 7 days, I'll update each day!
Day1:
I did it once in the morning, and once in the afternoon.
Day 5: I felt so much closer to the ground, maybe 6 inches at the nost, and I started at about 1 foot from the ground
Day 6:
Felt about the same as yesterday, the hamstring stretch was way easier on the right leg!
Day7:
Did see much progress, but trying my best!
Good luck I hope you get them!! I'm gonna start today
Thanks! You too!

Day 1✅
This routine has brought back my left and right splits after 4 weeks 3 x per week. Will definitely be keeping up the habit
I'm gonna try and do this once a day for as long as i can to see if i can finally get there!
like to remind me to update plss :))))
Starting: My split is like a foot of the ground
Day 1- ✅ burned doing it but it felt good at the same time
Day 2- ✅ I felt less motivated today but i did it and i think it hurt a bit less?
Day 3- ✅ Did it maybe my splits a little closer to the ground? thats probably wishful thinking tho
Day 4- ❌ Didn't have enough time
Day 5- ✅ Did it!

Okay today is Sunday and I did this video for the first time. I’m gonna update every Sunday.
Week 0: I’m not inflexible, but I have never been able to do the splits. The stretch was nice but hard because I’m like 30 cm from the ground with my good leg 😅
Week 1: Did it 5/7 days, once a day.
After doing this for just 2 days i was able to get down farther in my splits

THIS IS SUPER EFFECTIVE!! It finally got me my splits after I’ve been trying for a while!! 100% recommend!!
THIS WAS GOOD ROUTINE!!!!! I'm just few centimeters before i could touch the ground. This is so far the most effective routine for splits for me. The others only give me pain the next day 😩 but this one i can do it in just one try ❤️ thank u so much!

Day 11 (I think) WOW!! My right split is so close!
Two weeks!!! Right splits are like three inches away! So so proud of myself and next update will be when I get my splits

day three: went down to 4 inches on both legs !
day four: was really nervous to measure because of how sore i was all day, but i'm down to 3 inches on both legs
day five: down to two inches on both legs !!!! i feel like i'm going to be stuck at this distance for a while, but i'm gonna keep trying everyday !
day six: back up to 2½ on the right & 3 on the left, but i think it's normal to go back up a little bit (??) so i'm gonna stick with it still !

Have u got the splits?!❤
I always want to do spilts(im a beginner)
Can anyone tell me if this works? How long did it take you to do splits?
Yes this works very well I’ve been doing it for around two-ish months now and I’m almost completely into my splits
idk if anyone will even see this but ive been doing this for about a week and a half and i already see improvement in my flexibility, i can almost touch my toes now and before i could barely even make it past my knees
I’ve been doing your 10 min split stretch for 6 weeks or so my left is in so much pain 😢😢
I transition to this oneee
I really love the low lunge grab food
I have like few centimeters from doing my left side spilt not on my right. 😢
