I honestly hate how FN talks about capacity as if it holds 22rnds flush. It’s the same capacity as all the other comparable 10s. They just include an extended mag lol. Still keeping a close eye on this. If it continues to prove reliable with full power 10mm from Underwood I’ll definitely get one!
@Extra-Ordinary Gary pretty much, yeah, it's a weird marketing gimmick. At least the actual 15 round flush mags are competitive with the Glock 20 and S&W M&P10mm 2.0, though.
I really enjoy the 4-6 min format on these videos as my attention span is like a gerbils. The 510 looks awesome it’s nice to see 10MM and 5.7MM getting some action this year.

Did you notice that the recoil was more manageable than a Glock 20 or any other 10mm that you might’ve shot? I’m not worried about it but it’s something FN has seemed to hang their hat on with the promotion of the 510 and 545 so just wondering

I shot my sig X-Ten right after and I think the SIG is maybe slightly tamer then the fn still but the FN is easy to shoot well. After the 50 back to back bear loads, my hand was slightly sore from the texture of the grip... Aka it's more aggressive then any of the others. But I count that as a good thing! 3 boxes of FMJs was easy and pleasant to shoot.

I just got the same color an put a green dot holosun on mine I love this gun it shoots with much less recoil than my M&P 10mm an gen 5 Glock I sold those two two days ago had my FN510 for a week now got it from scheels soon as they were putting it out an went straight to the range an put 365 rounds through it from underwood to target ammo no malfunctions my fav polymer striker fire 10mm so far good job FN I’m gonna buy the black one that’s how much I like it
It's not an FNX-10, so who cares? Edit: I wish they would stop pushing the "Highest capacity 10mm at 22+1" bullshit like an extended magazine is in any way a new or novel concept. it's 15 rounds flush, like 99% of all other full size 10mm handguns.
I love my FDE 509 Tactical and great to hear FN uses the new striker. Should be a solid handgun, and having more options for 10mm guns is always a plus.

Absolutely love how big of a continuing resurgence that 10mm has had for years now. I'm all onboard the 10mm and contrsry to the FN spokesperson, my 10mm Glock 20 does not recoil terribly that complaint I think is overplayed. I am no expert but if you have any experiance with shooting handguns and have solid technique, the 10mm will suprise you as it did for me with how soft the recoil actually is. (Speaking from experiance on a Gen 4 Glock 20)

Seems pricey, but then the Sig Xten is $800 street with no threaded barrel, so given equal features, they're probably about equal price. (You know, if you go buy a threaded barrel for the XTen.)

Picked up my FN 510 tactical last week, I've shot at the last 3 days have about 400 rounds through it. I like it but I'm very disappointed in FN in the fact that they only give you two magazines with this. All the other FN products I've purchased came with three magazines. You think for the premium price that they charge they would continue to give you free magazines.
It was almost to much 😂 "the shorts shorts" but honestly i absolutely recommend the 510 its the perfect combination of ergonomics and capacity in a caliber thays Alaska appropriate 👌🏽
I have looked at the specs of the FN510 it looks ok but I did not like the Ergos on the 509 pistol and the 510 looks to be a slightly bigger version of the 509. The Tactical threaded barrel is would be nice for a Compensator and it would be cool if FNH came out with one but I do not see many people that get the 510 putting a CAN on it because the MAIN POINT of 10mm Auto are the 135gr-180gr Projectiles Traveling at a Muzzle Velocity between 1600-1300 FPS. Right now I own the major 10mm Pistols available the SIG P220 Legion, P320 X-Ten, Gen 4 Glock 20 and Gen 5 Glock 20 and I have been looking for a Solid 1911 or 2011 to round off my 10mm Auto Collection. I would really like to SEE HK to bring out a USP Expert in 10mm that would be one HELL of a PISTOL that I would buy the minute it became available. I would like to see FNH put release a 510 LS that would be a pistol worth looking at with the Longer Slide and Better Balance!
