Shimmercloak Assassin seems like a decent replacement for Port Smuggler because she has synergy with Veiling Breeze unlike Port Smuggler if she gets stuck into your hand and you got no use for her then other than Cost Fodder. Edit: I drank coffee after you showed her the second time and I read the card, I changed my mind about her. She's a better card than I expected. 3 cost for 2 power and health was questionable but since she has stealth, then I don't have to worry much about using a summon for her as I prep to close a game.
Crazy that this game is introducing classes faster than FaB (kills me how weve had 1 new CC class since Arcanse rising). Awesome opening, cant wait to crack packs.
I dont know why people think having many classes is something good, that means a more fractured playerbase and longer wait time for support sets to each class
@@6seph9 its not about having a bunch of them. But 3+ years of basically different versions of the same classes gets incredibly stale. Like yay, more guardians and brutes. So neat. They came out hot with 8 classes in a year and then 2 since. I think 4 a year is reasonable. But 1? Super weak. People already dont buy sealed product for sets that dont have a class/hero they want. Game has been like that for a while. Its just what happens naturally when you design a game like this. Sets are large enough that every class can be bolstered simply with 1 or 2 cards. And youre already making the playerbase unhappy printing sets with exclusively 1 class in it. LSS has been mishandling products for a while, and thats reflected in how the boxes have all failed to hold any value. You have to balance giving too much support to one class, and not enough to others. They have struggled with that for a while now.
Hello im new in this game so i want to ask you about my plan. To buy the 4 starter decks and this booster box. Is it ok i mean this work or need to buy some other booster box?
Huh, never thought I would have to say this, but It wasn't just rebels that had that ability to recruit from your deck. It was a mirrored mechanic because Mercenaries had the same mechanic. The only reason why we didn't get similar mechanics later for other creature types is because Mercadian Masques as a block was considered a bad move, let alone most of the mechanics in it. Considering Rhystic Studies was the most broken card from the entire block, and the block as a whole was following up the more format breaking Urza block, yeah it was very low powered. Lower powered than most blocks.
Yep, there were was also a cycle of them that tutored for specific creatures like Moggcatcher. I just mentioned Rebels because they were the ones that broke into the competetive scene in a big way
2nd box is kinda cracked too starting off ALC strong
Damn congrats that's some wild luck right there very cool to see. So hyped can't to get my hands on some packs this weekend!
Red Zone Rogue Holy Diver Cover!
About time, been waiting for you!
My box is coming in soon, I'm excited to start building some decks.
Which new class are you building first?
@@RedZoneRogue definitely thinking of building a Fire or Water Ranger build. Might cook something up and do a Water Cleric tho.

2 classes - illusionist and assassin!
@@xxDp2INDYxx I like to push illusionist into the back of my brain. You are correct! Still a sad number :( we had so many revealed in the lore book!

Welcome to GA! I Think that's a great way to start! The 3 ALC starters in particular can be upgraded using the booster box!
@@RedZoneRogue ok thank you!!!
That Claude is $750 !!!!
No Academy Guide though
Starter deck battler is on discord?
It'll be on the Rogues Gallery Discord!
Kinda resembles FaB a little bit
How so? Looks and plays nothing like FAB to me
The borders and layout that’s what I meant
@bryansegovia87 oh I see, honestly they remind me more of mtg and fow in that regard 😅
