I *love* Two Tall Stitchers! Frankly, while I have a few favourite "solo" Floss Tubes, I particularly enjoy it when there are two people together, working with and playing off each other. Country Stitchers (a long-running Floss Tube -- at least 4 years now!), Brenda and the Serial Starter, Linen and Scraps and the SABLE Stitchers are -- like the two of you -- pairs that I enjoy. (P.S, It's good to see your treatment is going well, Kathy.)

My daughter got married Nov 6th. I started stitching right before that. Ooooh, was it am amazing stress reliever! I had a Mill Hill kit with beads and just stitched that thing up. We used a lot of glass pumpkins for decor. She had mason jars with tea lights on the tables that were sitting on round cuts of trees. There's so many ideas on the internet. Decor ideas are plentiful. I love the Snow Village piece. The sunflowers with the patriotic theme is great too. Kathy, beautiful head wrap. It's a pretty pattern. You look amazing. Love listening to you both. You are definitely stitchin' sisters.
I would stitch those earrings and use them as zipper pulls on project bags. It is always fun watching the two of you interacting with each other. You both work on such cute projects. Stay well. Best, K

What can I say about Two Tall Stitchers….one of my favorites to watch. Carol is around my age, so I relate to many of her antics! I remember when I first learned how to cross stitch and Told in the Garden patterns were super popular. I stitched The Auction and actually won a ribbon at our local needlework show. Yes, designers and other stitchers make it so very easy to collect. We can’t help ourselves. Lol

Wow! For as busy as you both are, you have gotten in some great stitching. Kathy--I love all your little finishes. And Missy--I love your wedding gifts. They are so meaningful. I also agree with you that I don't care for floss drops. Talk about tangles... I have large 1.5 x 5 inch "bobbins" made of light cardboard. The originals I got 40 years ago. 😳 My sister makes me more with her Cricut. Oh Kathy, I jumped on Hocus Pocus with necessary floss and fabric too. Hope you both get some great stitchy time in.
Your Snow Village looks awesome! I did mine each individually and then put them together into a quilted wall hanging with sashing between the blocks. I like yours better!

What an awesome video! I love all the projects and patterns. Your snow village is amazing. Kathy's floss organization is very nice. That's similar to what I do. I keep my over dyed floss in those bags with a card and they hang on a curtain rod in my room. I love cow tails also. A little hard to find around here but when I do find them they are such atreat. Prayers for Kathy's continued recovery. You look great and hope you can get lots of stitching in.

Another great video, Ladies! You both are amazing! Two Tall Stitchers is another favorite flosstube. I found them by accident (their first) and was smitten. I've been to two of their retreats. They are small but so relaxing. I'd love to attend a retreat in Maine! Hugs to you both.
My friend and I attended the quilt retreat in Indiana earlier this year with Carol and Jennifer and it was great. You should definitely attend and visit Shipshewana. So many great shops near the area.
I read some comments and I thought people were being nice when everyone said your finishes were so nice but they weren't! You have so many of them! I love seeing you guys, so much so I have this sense of being closer to you than one can possibly be with UA-cam personalities! Kathy, you look great, I hope you feel as well as you look. Best of continued luck with the weddings! I'm going to do Give Greatly with the Primrose Cottage Stitches SAL, we start next week! I really like that Autumn Berry -- but not as a berry! I would love it as an oval pillow and maybe change some colors.... I never would have thought of it if I hadn't seen your finishes! Thanks for not apologizing for the length of the video and no worries about the length in between! You guys are planning weddings for crying out loud -- forget the other stuff! I will share one fun story. When my niece matriculated at the Naval Academy, a "tradition" is the shaving of the plebes' heads -- the girls also have to cut their hair, but it's a little more civilized. So we (the women in the family) all gathered with champagne and chocolate at the hair dresser while she had her loong locks cut into a very short hair cut. When my mom was preparing for losing her hair to chemo she decided she wanted a similar celebration so all the women in the family gather at the same hair dresser (family hair dresser) with champagne and chocolate again, and her hair was similarly cut, albeit much, much shorter. He also worked with her on getting wig(s). I kinda wish I'd told this story earlier because you guys seem like the kinda family that might have enjoyed the tradition. :) xoxo

I was so glad to see that you had another Flosstube today! I was very glad to see you both, all your finishes were beautiful Kathy ! I need to order that Welcome from Justine! I love the frame finish also. I store my floss in Walmart Snack baggies with a 3x5 , blank recipe card, with the DMC # in sharpie marker. Then I store them in photo boxes from Michael’s in numerical order. It makes it so much easier to find the color I need quickly. My extras, yes I’ve bought a few extras when I couldn’t find the color or it was kitted up in another project. So my extras are in bags on a large ring and are on a plastic hoop on my 3 tier table! It was the best system for me ! I hope your continued treatment goes well,bless you and so happy you have Missy and other family by your side during this time ! Missy I need to check out that 18 count fabric from Flax and Linen it looks awesome! I’m mostly a neutral fabric person with occasionally a color fabric ! My daughter got married in September 16 years ago and my oldest son got married exactly 6 weeks later in October. It was a stressful, wonderful and exhausting time for my family. I think they'll be in the rotation for 2024 though. I've loved them for years and finally broke down and bought them all! Did you get the June booklet yet? One of the stockings is a wedding ring quilt pattern and another is a storm with a baby bundle. What an awesome video! I love all the projects and patterns. Your snow village is amazing. Kathy's floss organization is very nice. That's similar to what I do. I keep my over dyed floss in those bags with a card and they hang on a curtain rod in my room. I love cow tails also. A little hard to find around here but when I do find them they are such atreat. Prayers for Kathy's continued recovery. You look great and hope you can get lots of stitching in.

My friend and I attended the quilt retreat in Indiana earlier this year with Carol and Jennifer and it was great. You should definitely attend and visit Shipshewana. So many great shops near the area.
I read some comments and I thought people were being nice when everyone said your finishes were so nice but they weren't! You have so many of them! I love seeing you guys, so much so I have this sense of being closer to you than one can possibly be with UA-cam personalities! Kathy, you look great, I hope you feel as well as you look. Best of continued luck with the weddings! I'm going to do Give Greatly with the Primrose Cottage Stitches SAL, we start next week! I really like that Autumn Berry -- but not as a berry! I would love it as an oval pillow and maybe change some colors.... I never would have thought of it if I hadn't seen your finishes! Thanks for not apologizing for the length of the video and no worries about the length in between! You guys are planning weddings for crying out loud -- forget the other stuff! I will share one fun story. When my niece matriculated at the Naval Academy, a "tradition" is the shaving of the plebes' heads -- the girls also have to cut their hair, but it's a little more civilized. So we (the women in the family) all gathered with champagne and chocolate at the hair dresser while she had her loong locks cut into a very short hair cut. When my mom was preparing for losing her hair to chemo she decided she wanted a similar celebration so all the women in the family gather at the same hair dresser (family hair dresser) with champagne and chocolate again, and her hair was similarly cut, albeit much, much shorter. He also worked with her on getting wig(s). I kinda wish I'd told this story earlier because you guys seem like the kinda family that might have enjoyed the tradition. :) xoxo

I was so glad to see that you had another Flosstube today! I was very glad to see you both, all your finishes were beautiful Kathy ! I need to order that Welcome from Justine! I love the frame finish also. I store my floss in Walmart Snack baggies with a 3x5 , blank recipe card, with the DMC # in sharpie marker. Then I store them in photo boxes from Michael’s in numerical order. It makes it so much easier to find the color I need quickly. My extras, yes I’ve bought a few extras when I couldn’t find the color or it was kitted up in another project. So my extras are in bags on a large ring and are on a plastic hoop on my 3 tier table! It was the best system for me ! I hope your continued treatment goes well,bless you and so happy you have Missy and other family by your side during this time ! Missy I need to check out that 18 count fabric from Flax and Linen it looks awesome! I’m mostly a neutral fabric person with occasionally a color fabric ! Missy I feel your excitement and anxiety over your daughter's wedding. Being the mother of the bride is such a fun, exciting and crazy time in your life. My daughter got married in September 16 years ago and my oldest son got married exactly 6 weeks later in October. It was a stressful, wonderful and exhausting time for my family. Kathy, so glad you are feeling well. You look great and are more yourself. Praying for you to get through this and be healthy.

Have you looked at Stitcher’s Hideaway in Sturbridge, MA? There’s one retreat in February and sometimes a second in October.
