I recommend hiring gardeners to keep the grounds clean instead of moss growing everywhere. Also, IIRC, it is a searching desk that should be in a reception when new prisoners arrive.
We certainly have the money now. Or, we will once we have prisoners generating income.
I don't recall seeing the searching desk. Is that a DLC thing? I know I don't own all of it
@@JCTheBeard I searched on the internet and apparently it is called a checkpoint and it is a DLC item. It seems to be from the Island bound expansion pack. It is slightly complicated tho, coz if there are too many prisoners waiting for the pat down, some may escape the pat down. Also, the guards working there should be well rested to make sure all items are caught. Also, metal detectors have a 3 second gap in which contraband can be smuggled through, so make sure to always keep multiple metal detectors as you have been doing. It seems that the searching desk that I was remembering is totally different and I made it up in my mind and this one I am saying is a bit more complicated one.
Defined would love to see everything separated out and id really like to see a upgraded outer fence with towers in future

I have never heard of this game until the algorithm introduced your channel to me yesterday. Love how clean you build, I already bought the game and the way you build makes for a great tutorial. Can't wait to watch season 1 and where this one goes

would be nice to have something a bit lest "only rectangle blocks" you got the cash if you need more space so can go a bit funky on the design, like using a "+" shaped building for a wing or idk what

Since you are the “million dollar” prison, go for a luxury prison. The kind one would imagine a billionaire being locked in. Lobsters and caviar type of prison.
So the cells should be made as comfortable and luxurious as possible. Nicest flooring and walls, in suite shower, each prisoner gets their own room. That sort of shit. No matter how dangerous or insane, these are prisoners with outside connections wanting their incarceration to be as relaxing and enjoyable as it can be.

Do you have a set upload schedule? New to the channel and I'm really looking forward to part 2 to this series.
First off, thanks for watching! This Prison Architect series comes out weekly on Thursdays. My videos always go public at 10:30am EDT regardless of day.
I am working on defining a more specific schedule for other things and for live streams, but for now there are video of United Penguin Kingdom on Tuesdays, Timberborn Waterbeaver mod on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and Friday/Sunday/Monday isn't completely set at this time because of other series ending.
