You don't get any GPS interference at all? I lose nearly half or more of the satellites when I turn the camera on. Makes it very erratic and difficult to pull off good shots under a tree canopy.

thanks, as a drone owner and someone who buys every gopro and has a insta360 oneX.. I have no interest in buying this thing.. its too expensive for the same 5.7K low resolution 360 video as their other cameras. Its not going to be anywhere as crisp as the video from the on board drone camera.

I have had one of these since they came out. The fatal flaw is the sound, why they put a mic on this thing is beyond me. Loud prop noise in the video and no way to delete the track. If you found a way to delete the noisy sound track please share it. Thanks for the video info.
Dont buy if you value your drone. It weakens the RC Signal and blocks GPS reception and puts your drone in atti mode . High dangerous to operate any drone like this. It cost me my MA2
Any issue with loss of GPS satellites using the Sphere? Even though @insta360 claims GPS is not affected this does not seem to be the case in the real world and I have seen on YT and read some real horror stories. What is your experience with the GPS?
Very little progress! (and very poor consideration to ballance!) Seems you are saying Insta360 have re-released the One R 'split mod'/'aerial' (that was never in the One RS lineup) with very minimal improvements to mounting/bracketry (including molded parts rather than 3D printed!) that allow it to mount without causing GPS issues! We still can not buy the 'split mod' (and ribbon cables!) for One RS to enable our own (NON DJI Air 2S) installations, right?

Marvelous. Your explanations really helped me to "see" what was actually going on as you engaged a favorite beach and pier scene. I've been a semi-pro photographer and just never went further than school publications and could not break out to story telling video. This offers so much opportunity - it's like $30,000 an hour for this kind of production at the start of the drone phenom not long after the iPhone. The opportunities for sport product companies has reached far beyond the Hero days of body-cams only. We are now three times as far. AI editing takes flight time another distance, with this ease of integration of three cameras in two systems - not to mention the bulk computing power and storage and just the weight of the rig. Truth is on this vector - we probably won't need any such gear - nothing - ten years from now. We'll just imagine anything anywhere any time.
This 360 camera is not useful at all. Furthermore, it only works with two DJI drones. Once you get rid off your drone, you will not sell this 360 camera. Total garbage.
I really have a hard time watching people make this camera look great ,...i bought one big mistake .... The app which controls your photo settings and taking photos cuts off at 33 feet so you're in the sky and you want to take a photo your out of luck .... you have to start recording video before you take off.... and you lose a lot of gps sats .......this thing is not useful and apt to make a lot of people crash their drones .. I like your channel but 360 is not paying me to endorse there product so i give u and all the honest truth ..buy this beware

Is there a way you can switch the cameras between the drone and a selfie stick? I’d love to be able to fly the drone for farm videos then pull off the cameras and mount them to my tractor and catch videos on the cab.
Nice review and camera system indeed ! I just don't have the drone to go with it, just having the Mavic Pro 2 Zoom at the moment. Although, I do have the Insta360 One X2 that I have mounted sometimes on the drone using a top mount (not bottom hanging), and it already gave me some pretty nice results.
it is unbelievable that a new one has been released again, but the lower lens is worn out here too, in danger. wtf?! ok, ok, leg extensions, but still...

This looks like the rig I made after “frankensteining” my Mavic Pro rig to put it on Mavic Air 2, but I kept the original configuration. I did’t lose GPS with MA2.

OK, this is cool, but you know what would be cooler if third-party manufacturers could make attachable side sensors. This drone would be near-complete. And the fact it chews into your flight time is what I don't like most about the 360 camera besides the added win drag it creates in a windy situation so DJI better give us a larger capacity battery like they did the mini 3 pro which I thought was lowkey BS given the air 2s has been out a while and deserves a better battery and not a refreshed Air 2 variant..

What do you think of the stitch line? Another review said something about 10 meters. I am afraid keeping that far from my subject for a clean stitch line is a deal breaker. I'm hoping you found it to be better. Obviously keeping a subject in one camera avoids the problem but if I want to fly through a property I can't keep 10 meters from all walls, or from any wall, so will it look horrible? Or is it a reasonable stitch line that is visible but not a deal breaker? My other application will be chasing my kid on her dirt bike. I don't want her whole body lost to a stitch line or have to be so far away there's no way to know who it is riding. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the stitch line please. Thanks
@@FlytPath - I would be way MORE interested about having any GPS issue or not! Because that is a deal breaker! Many people are complaining about losing a lot of satellites and Air2 S switches to ATTI mode and drift back and forth, hard to land - I am looking forward for your kind reply :)

Totally agree . I bought the one X2 and mounted it on my drone but the video quality is rubbish compared to the air2s camera
