I agree with your analysis, although the Note 10+ is prob the best all rounder when you consider the comprehensive pro mode built in, variable aperture, TOF sensor, better ultra wide camera (with night mode), etc... Although shooting in auto, iphone 11 pro seems to be slightly better in most scenarios.
1st - iPhone; 2nd - Note 10+; 3rd - P30 Pro; 4th - Pixel 4 ; the camera on the Pixel 4 doesn't justify that premium pricing, thus, I think it's last place.
Throw in ultrawide and the ultrawide/telephoto and the note wins hands down. But from this comparison i think its a draw between the note and the iphone
Ridwan you do know that the iPhone and Pixel both don't natively have manual modes right? Most people don't want to fidget around with manual modes, on a phone. They just want to point, shoot and be done with it. Also using manual modes doesn't mean you'll get good results. If you don't understand how to get good angles, shoot relative to your light source, center the subject, pose the model, and other things, manual mode won't mean a thing
@@kingdeedee Yeah, you're right on both parts. Most people don't bother with manual adjustments when shooting with a phone. They apply standard filters and don't bother with manually editing the individual editing bars as well. Can't call them individuals who know how to take pictures then since they literally don't do anything but press the shutter button, right? Of course, you as the photographer need to do the necessary stuff on your end before snapping a photo. I agree. It's gonna be about personal preference. I used to love Samsung flagships because of skin clarifying effects for selfie but I've learned that natural beauty wins! Haha. #TeamPixel.
I'd have to agree about the iPhone. And also because I'm not an iPhone user, I would chose the note 10. Plus it's a much more versatile phone overall. Again this my opinion so to each his own.
There are a few things to note. Note 10 has pretty amazing wide angle and very useful remote shutter. But lower light interior pictures are not very good especially with faces. It's also nearly impossible to shoot moving objects indoors and at low light. Pixel does those way better
Pixel 4 has dual exposure sliders and none of the other phones have it. You could adjust the shadows and highlights with it so its the best smartphone for still photography
Stop saying note 10 plus has a noise reduction algorithm, its just they increase the saturation and contrast in the pre production models, which is what UA-camrs got for their reviews. Mass production models will have noise in their pictures, check the note 10 units manufactured after August
I'm a pixel 3 XL user and I agree with your choice of Frist and second place. Well done Apple. As far as I'm concerned they've set the bar this year no doubt with incredible clarity and dynamics in their photographs and video...Very disappointed that GOOGLE has let the pixel down this time around especially with all the exaggerated hype they purposely released.. Great video thank you for sharing..
Great video and I agree 100%. The Pixel 4 underperformed which makes it a bad buy in my opinion. At a price similar to an iPhone it's just ridiculous. The note 10 always has the best HDR in my opinion and handles most scenes well, except for low light. I've been an Android user for years and finally switched to Apple after the iPhone 11 Pro Max release. It has the most consistent shots and you don't really have to fidget around with anything. Last, I'm a HUGE Huawei fan. I think they make great products, but they're notorious for blowing out highlights in the background. I hope this is resolved on the Mate 30 Pro whenever that gets released. I think it will be a great competitor.
I have the Note 10+ and the iPhone 11 Pro max and I couldn't agree more. Iphone really upped their game this year. I do give a slight edge to the iPhone's camera but if I could only keep one phone it would be the Note 10+
You're right about Pixel 4. It must perform much better in camera department than it does in reality. Just because it lacks too many other things which other phones have.
Have both iPhone pro 11 and pixel 4XL. Night mode is where iPhone shines best with colors (more noise but pixel was better detail, just looked "digital"). Portrait mode on iPhone is not versatile and awful in some cases like with bright light behind it or in low light. Of course iPhone has wide angle. Everywhere else, they are about equal with iPhone warmer than life and pixel is close to life or sometimes on cool side.
just my personal preference, I own the note 10 & pixel 4XL, wife has the iphone 11Pro. We both like the pixel 4 photos best most of the time. The Note is way to soft for people photos. Landscape photography is great on the Note, but we take photos of people and it just always softens way to much or makes a muddy looking photo...just don't care for the Note cameras at all in day to day normal use.
@@spamtelevision Deep fusion made on a minor difference in detail. More marketing than substance. It does nothing in low light nor does it help portrait mode or back light compensation. At least that is what we are seeing with pictures today from her iPhone after she updated yesterday. If anything I think the colors got even more saturated like Samsung. Very brighter than life. But most people prefer that.
Keith Leger I have the iPhone 11 Pro and I updated yesterday to iOS 13.2. Deep fusion works only when the outside frame is off. I took a some photos and they were surprisingly sharp and very detailed.
@@spamtelevision Same as what we noticed. However, it did nothing in night mode shots. Just a little sharper and deeper on main lens only, but colors are more vibrant than life like Samsung was always "criticized" for doing. It is not a drastic/game changing addition as their "marketing" makes it sound. Apple just has great marketing words.
That's what I'm experiencing. I have the Note 10 and I hate how it softens people skin and it kills detail. It's also hard to take pictures indoors also because of motion blur and makes it look like a painted mess.
Since the camera update in oct for samsung phones. The dynamic range has greatly improved. Ive compared my s9+ to an iphone 11promax and they both were so close Obviously the iphone won but for years and price difference. This was incredible
No its not lol. Pixel is far better especially with selfie shots which was not showcased here. Video on the other hand is iPhones strongest suit no contest
They never were. They're terrible cameras. P30 pro beats it in almost every scenario in this test as well as real life. There's nothing an iPhone can do better than a P30 pro in photos.
A bit of a shame to leave out portrait modes as many people are now using this feature, and would have liked to compare their edge detections. Otherwise, a nice informative comparison with great consistency. thank you
I think the conclusion is that in most scenarios, people don't need a better camera, they just need to learn to take good pictures. I still use a Pixel 2 XL, which even by 2019/2020 standards is still an excellent camera, but there are so many options that are just as good or better nowadays yet when I go to family gatherings I still end up being the (unpaid) family photographer. I have family members with the latest iPhones, Samsungs and Huaweis that still believe my camera is better than theirs. Just learn to take photos people. Even "mediocre" cameras like OnePlus can yield amazing results
@@TechAdvisor Props to you for the excellent comparison as well. This might've been the most well-done phone camera comparison I've ever seen. Love from Canada. Also I gotta say the iPhone won it for me as well. It's probably the most versatile of the bunch

Great work! Could you consider adding a 4th category to your testing? Capturing moving objects such as animals or kids. I find this to be what separates the best from the rest.
I do not want to favor the Huawei P30 Pro but I noticed a tendency among reviewers comparing its photos to top smartphones. P30 Pro HAS NO AUTO HDR MODE like virtually all other smartphones! You must enable this mode yourself. No wonder that against the light or in other scenes, clouds or sky are burnt ... supposedly experts and their knowledge is negligible - or they are aware of it and deliberately show everyone how weak Huawei is ...
For price p30 pro is best! And is the phone which go out about 7 month ago!!!!! 11 pro, 10+, and pixel 4.. now. But between this 3, note10+ like a ultimate phone.

P30 pro wasn't bad in every condition its for me the everyones taste here and I'm impressed.... And also that sensor well it feels like the bokeh was without the portrait mode the best....
Nice comparison as usual. Always a fan of your comparisons. While I agree that the iPhone did well in the second round, it did fell behind in the 1st & 3rd round. So I honestly believed in order to fairly declare a overall winner in the end, another feature should've been considered, such as camera functions & features, or maybe a test of the selfie cameras or video capabilities.
Yeah, I pondered on keeping the extra features category but I dropped it because it was time intensive to produce (the extra broll) and it distracted from the main focus: pure photo results. With that said, even if I would of had an extra features category or looked at video capabilities, I still think it would of been a toss up between the iPhone and Note 10+. You know which one I would personally pick, but I'm trying to refine the testing so that it's more focused. Either way thanks for watching on the new channel, I'm glad you were able to find it! -Adam
He did show the telephoto when he was checking the clarity when on zoom and the iPhone won it hands down. The ultra wide would have been unfair because the pixel doesn’t have one but if they did do the comparison I think the Samsung would have one on that one by a bit. But overall Apple has dominated the camera performance especially when you consider that they are way better when it comes to video recording when compared to its competitors. I think the iPhone is the better and safer choice.
The P30 pro has the best photos in almost all of the shots. More detail, sharper, proper colour balance. A slight green cast is not noticeable and I think bias towards Apple is evident in this video.
Buying the iPhone 11 Pro Max over the note 10+ is the best decision I have ever made. This is honestly the best iPhone experience. Everything is smooth and snappy and the camera is so good that it is hard to not get a good picture.
Nice review, well done.i prefer I phone but the pro camera option available with other phones not in iPhone ,I phone you have to depend third-party camera app
I think that the Pixel 4 XL when compared to iPhone 11 pro head-to-head specifically in the high dynamic range and also portrait shot mode category the pixel 4 wins almost every time. When You look at zoom capabilities Pixel 4 also does a great job against the iPhone 11 pro. This isn't to say that the Pixel 4 is not without its shortcomings because there are instances where it does struggle especially when it comes to clarity but again in most scenarios it doesn't better job than the iPhone 11 pro at least in my experience. If you take a portrait shot of an object such as a glass with a straw in it the pixel 4 does not blur the straw out as the iPhone 11 pro does in almost every instance. Edge detection on the iPhone still needs work as well as any type of moving objects on the iPhone 11 series. Typically the iPhone 11 pro has major motion blur with anything moving whereas the Pixel 4 does not. At the end of the day I think a lot of it is personal preference however. Enjoyed your review.
For main lens..i don't have any preference right now..all of them are excellent..but i would choose the p30pro just for the camera modes..so many options to shoot
I agreed with you up until you concluded the Note 10 better than the Pixel 4, I agreed with you when you said the colors were off on the 10. I feel that a more natural soft tone is always better than oversaturation, the part were the Pixel does stumble is in the zoom in details.
Even if pixel 4 underexposes a little you can edit the photo. but you can't get the details which are not captured. I don't like note 10 it softens too much.
Tech Advisor had done a big mistake for this, He hired so beautiful model for this mobile camera caparison video, my focus had just stuck on her, so for me Clear winner is SHE :)
Iphone still didn't get rid of that yellowish skin tone. I get it about warmer tones, but they make skin look less realistic. Such a colours might be good for instagram fans, but for me, its Note10+/p30 pro to have an edge here.
To P30 Pro users: how do you deal with the green tint in auto-mode? Did Huawei fix it in their camera software updates, at some point? Does shooting in RAW fix the issue? I need to buy a new phone, and the price reached by the P30 Pro is close to what is good for my budget, as I don't want to push beyond the 550€.
google have said this in there pixel 4 persantation video that if you want a more details shoot dont crop images zoom in camera viewfinder and then capture cause google camera use SuperRes after 1.4x zoom
Dear Bro,..... Very good detail compare presentation..... The only one special requezt to you to perform one more round comparison with Huawri Mate 30 Pro...... because it gain the highest scire from DXO Mark benchnark.....we prefer to see how good having dual 40 Megapixel lens..... Thanks in advance.... Regards, SonG
Agree with you here adam, iPhone and note10+ improved alot from their predecessor, from last year, pixel and huawei having night mode, apple and samsung caught up hard. I prefer the finished colours on note10+ for portrait, prefer the flatness of the pixel 4 photos, the natural bokeh from huawei larger sensor, night mode and clarity on the main deep fusion wide angle on the iPhone, no night mode on the ultrawide is a bummer for the iPhone, 2020 then. Wait for Navi.
I'm surprised the note 10 beats the pixel 4 because I am really disappointed of the note 10s camera especially indoors. Samsung softening of the skin kills the detail on their photos. Makes it look like a painting when shooting indoors.
Apple has improved the camera a lot! Photos shot by the iphone 11 series are most detailed due to its magical computational algorithm --- Smart HDR in bright scenes, Deep Fusion in moderate lighting scenes, Night mode in poor lighting scenes--- which surprise me a lot. Apple breaks the hardware limit of the 1/2.55" sensor by applying the incredible camera algorithm. Improving images quality by using computational method has been using by Google since the pixel phone came out. However, Apple now accomplishes the top place of computational photography due to its awesome A13 chipset. How incredible can Apple be by using a 1/2.55" sensor, with the help of night mode, to beat up P30's 1/1.7 sensor in low night scenes. No any other phones have ever achieved this before. The details and texture of stuffs in the photos captured by iPhone 11 are crazy!!!
That is a great question! I've unfortunately never been able to try an Exynos variant. But hopefully one day I can do a comparison between just those 2. -Adam

What happened to the Boquet effect and video test? Also, thanks for the video.
I wish I had time to do it all!

P30 pro is the best in clarity and zoom, it's night mode is still unbeatable.
Would be great if you can include ultra wide and telephoto category! :)
Proud of my p30 pro ❤️❤️❤️
He missed out zoom, macro and edge detection.
. Me too
I proud of you
Huwaie p30 pro is best camera phones 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Oh hey it's Victoria again. Been following her since your Mate 10 video haha... Glad to know i have the best Android camera now.😁
Samsung Note 10+ more often than not loses in exposure. However, here it won the exposure category. I am going crazy now.
Ik the p30 takes muted colours but it is so easy to change that, there's a option in the camera screen with smooth, vivid and other
Do a camera review on the penta Phone Mi note 10
The P30 pro has the best photos in almost all of the shots. More detail, sharper, proper colour balance. A slight green cast is not noticeable and I think bias towards Apple is evident in this video.
W B sorry it took an L.
Good to see last cam standing again. 💕❤
Thanks for following me to the new channel!

I'm a fan. ❤
I can't stop smiling because of victoria😫
In color I think the iPhone was the overall winner.
I agree Raju. If its underexposed I can work with that.
Tech Advisor had done a big mistake for this, He hired so beautiful model for this mobile camera caparison video, my focus had just stuck on her, so for me Clear winner is SHE :)
yuup, proud of my note 😄🤘 nice vid ✌️
Note 10 for landscape, Iphone 1 11 pro for people and nightshots
Why haven't you included the Xperia 1 & 5 in these last camera standing shoot-out's? Seems quite odd..
In past episodes Sony phones have been very weak.

Please review camera efficiency of Redmi K20 and the same Pro and the successive Redmi phones.
Wait for Navi.
good job man keep it up 👍
Hey bro where is one plus 7 pro or 7 t for comparison
Note 10 dynamic range is excellent and for me colors is best on note and contrast in photos is excellent iPhone is the second for me
I'm surprised the note 10 beats the pixel 4 because I am really disappointed of the note 10s camera especially indoors. Samsung softening of the skin kills the detail on their photos. Makes it look like a painting when shooting indoors.
Try disabling the beauty mode. It makes shots very soft
You should put the "Sony Xperia 1" in the next last cam standing. It's a real good shooter.
P30 pro always
Watching on my exynos note 10 plus. What variant are you using thanks
Snapdragon.
-Adam
@@TechAdvisor adam i got one more question which do you think is better when it comes to camera the exynos variant or the snapdragon thanks
That is a great question! I've unfortunately never been able to try an Exynos variant. But hopefully one day I can do a comparison between just those 2.
-Adam
Also the note 10 plus seems to have slightly higher contrast which I personally like but others don't.
Not mentioning the staggering lossless Zoom of the P30 pro corrupts the entire piece. Fyi, I use a Note9.
Does the scene optimizer on the note 10 + on?
