I wonder if this is what my son has it's All Over his arms and back. His dad had it too only it was ALL OVER his Whole body, arms, legs, back, etc. and his (my son's dad's skin) skin was SUPER tough, and kinda red and VERY bumpy, doctors and dermatologist's couldn't figure out what he had... Maybe it's this.
Like most UA-cam doctors they diagnose the SYMPTOM but they don't tell you the ACTUAL CAUSE

It worked perfectly then I ran out stopped using for a week bought it again
And its been two months and it still hasn’t worked the same, its like I dont even put anything on
Ive had it forever. Im covered in scars now because at 7 or so i basically skinned my arms with a pumice stone trying to get rid of it. I just wish i could tell my child self that it is okay 🥺
Its just cosmetic, and strawberry skin is an adorable term for it. Appreciate your skin, it protects you and hugs you always. You arent obligated to be a smooth hairless creature, you *are* obligated to treat yourself well though ♡
I had it so bad for like 2 decades and nothing would get rid of it. The doc I worked for suggested I might have an essential fatty acid deficiency and try fish oil. Within about a month it was almost completely cleared. 🤷♀️

I recommend u dont give a child these medications because its not harmful to have these bumps. I have them bumps and the thought of spending money on a product i know nothing about even if it works its gambling with ur health is a unnecessary risk.
Say the company uses nonfda approved ingredients and ur child becomes disfigured as a result AND the company goes out of businesses/ merges to avoid liabilities. Then what are you gonna tell you child when they grow older. Accept the way God made them with all due respect
@@DokesConspiracyNetwork i recommend you don't give advice when you have never met the person you're giving MEDICAL advice to. You don't know my daughter and I talk to her doctor about products before we use them. Not to mention she's neurodivergent and actually has sensory issues that DO indeed impede her quality of life. So to give her LOTION to help improve her life, there's no downside. I'm not having her pop pills or do some crazy medical treatment....it's lotion and body wash. @Unknown Number 01 if it's sticky how do you not feel disgusting? I've tried some sunscreens that is like that and it is an incredibly disgusting feeling.
@@singhmastr Leave it on. The results are worth it. I felt it working on the second day, and a huge improvement within the first week.
Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I used it for 3 months. Should I have used it longer? How long did it take until yours went away from using Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy?
I have had this since I was a small child and have cried over it because all I wanted was smooth arms like the other little girls at the pool :’)
Yooo this was super helpful i had no idea what the bumps on my arms were and i was super insecure bout it
You need a complete mindset change because if bumps make you insecure then you will always have something super insecure about.
@failtolawl well I was insecure about it cause I thought they were strange I never saw anyone with similar bumps so I thought I was just weird 😭
It doesn’t totally go away guys, but exfoliating with AHAs and BHAs helps reduce the appearance of the bumps and texture, plus you need to moisturize those areas regularly.
When I don’t stay on top of my skincare regime is when I notice the texture/ bumps more.

I was practically born with it🥲I never happened to mind them until someone in middle school was like “EWW WHAT ARE THOSE”. I’m 19 and I’m still self conscious of them lol.
Same. I'm 22 now and I kind of care less, but it still bothers me sometimes (especially the ones on my legs). People started to make comments about it when I was in middle school (they thought it was the consequence of shaving, but I've never shaved my arms and legs due to naturally having few and light hairs on my body). The fact that my skin is very light doesn't help, as it makes the red dots more visible.
I refused to go to the beach or wear a swimsuit/bikini for years because of that.. but at the end of the day it's just skin texture, and from what I know is quite common too. Who cares.
same. almost

Same happened to me in elementary school. Nobody cares when you get older though, honestly
I have it it but not like the guy/girl in the video. Mine is severe the bumps are literally everywhere and it causes so much redness.
Anyone reading the comments here who wants to get rid of their KP: the CereVe cream really worked for me. I took a shower about every 2-3 days, and immediately after I would use the cream liberally. It took about a month of this and my KP decreased significantly. It didn’t go away entirely, but I am pretty sure that’s normal and it’s the best you can do.
EDIT: This is just what worked for me! Everyone is different so learn what works best for you! Hope this helps though!

If you have keratosis pilaris you may also be more prone to get ingrown hairs on your body (anywhere on your body, not just on your arms).
