@@midiman5045 I didn’t forget. At least not personally. Trying not to hurt feelings. That seems to be a thing these days…but yes, you are absolutely correct.
@@CrosscutFilmsSask Is there any chance you might remaster Feels So Good? All I can find online is someone's VHS recording. It isn't even on the Van Halen DVD :( Thank you for these!
Go back and look at all the bangers released in 1991 - an unbelievable year for music a pop culture, and this one ranks among the best… and a couple of the blondes in this video (especially “motorcycle girl”) made it even better
yes, nirvana change the music there hasn’t been anything original since and Pantera came out 91. Also best band of the 90s. I can’t stand Sammy myself. Give me Roth any day.
Eddie with a smile, great to see him that way... One of the first albums I ever bought was VH 1 in 1978, saw him live twice (1984 with DLR, 5150 with Sammy). Always and forever a Eddie fan...
Love some of that pound cake. Van Halen knew how to be naughty so elegantly. Only one band that could still sound heavy and sexy at the same time. Eddie tamed that Frankenstein at an early age. I never saw him not smile. He loved every minute he was playing. And sucks cancer took him. Hope they have a EVH cause. I’m sick of cancer. At least he isn’t suffering. Still saying it RIP EVH.
This is the sound of pinnacle American lifestyle dude music. Wish I was in my 30s around this time. Sports car flying on the freeway heading to the beach to get some beers with the brothers and working on the ladies.
Awesome good job on this, all of these classics need to go 4K, I had a crappy TV when this came out and of course no way to watch videos on demand. Thanks very much. This gets a very well deserved like and suscribe from me!
We played this in high school. The lead guitar player didn't want his father to know we were using his drill, so he left the bit in. Somewhere out there is a Kramer with little scrapes on the volume knob and the adjacent finish....
Can't forget this album or the date when I saw them on this tour: 12/13/91. We knew something was in the air by the end of 91, but didn't realize how far hard rock would fall. The good hard rock times that started ironically with Montrose was about to end soon after this album. Alice in Chains opening for VH then was cool and everything but that whole scene just wasn't the same. Maybe a sign of the drugs being used.
I loved the David Lee Roth era of Van Halen, but Sammy was great also! Saw this version of Van Halen at a concert at Metra in Montana! The songs with Sammy were more thoughtful and insightful. Still sounds good in 2024!
Not particularly knocked out about the video itself, but the song/jam itself was fantastic..., and the little girl was a cutie pie. 🥰 Especially at the end. 😁
Happy for the proficieht definition in the restored video But the pounding midrange from Mikey’s Stingray got somewhat lost in this mix Being a bass player myself, please get Mike Anthony’s bass back🤟🏻
@@CrosscutFilmsSask Andy Johns, Ted I think went after Ou 812… anyway… I’m referring to the original video we can find elsewhere: sure low-def, but with same bass sound from “for unlawful carnal knowledge”
Literally the only song I have on my playlist from the Van Hager era. And I have to admit it's just as much for the video as it is for the song. Not going to lie. Original Van Halen for me till the bitter end!
@@CrosscutFilmsSaskcrosscut just can’t help myself…I have to ask, would the 91 Dallas show be a candidate for reprocessing? They were as sharp as knives that day, and the surviving footage is rough - LOVE THE WORK…don’t stop!!!
Back when music was great, women were smoking hot, and the world didn't suck...RIP EVH...I sure miss you.
And all those women….were women!
Yes and RIP you are not alone. You forgot when musicians played instruments and were creative.
RIP Eddie we all miss you so much still can’t believe that you’re gone ☹️

This was rock’n’roll at its finest. Sounds as fresh today as it was in 1991. Rest in power Eddie !
WoW. Sammy And Eddie. What a Treasure. 💔💖💞🌹🙂
Lead vocals suck, it's all about the big guitar.
This was a really really good song. Sammy in VH was such a great time.
So happy to still se this 33 years later. This is still my favorit album 🤘
RIP King Edward
-A big fan since 1978
He was the king. We have lost some really good ones in the past 5 years or so.
I hate being nostalgic and dwell in the past, but, man! Wasn't this era glorious!
The best days my friend music now is crap. These guys were cutting edge.
I do it all the time, I practically live in the 80s and 90s as far as music goes. It’s the only way to time travel and get to relive the best of times
Oh Hell yes
Compared to DLR - Sammi sux.
No one can argue this is a jam!!!
I love the remastered Van Halen videos. Great job.
More to come!

One of those blonde babes is model Becky Mullen. Who passed away of cancer at age 55. Time flies sadly...

Meh year for movies (aside from Terminator 2), but a GREAT year for music.

After seeing some of Sammy's recent road trip episodes, he could still pull this song off. Sounds great and can still rock in his 70's.

I don't know what it takes to convert these to 4K but we thank you very much for being a true humanitarian. Coffee is on me today. Keep the VH coming👍
Much appreciated!!
