Hello friend, Bom Dia I'm Filipino I worked 9 yrs at Angola at Southern part near Sumbe, because of Covid our projects almost on hold. Our main Company is Sonangol a National Oil Company. Say regards to your Angolano friend that you interviewed now. Portuguese language is so easy to learn because it's a big similarity with Spanish and some of our language too that's why Filipino workers are so easy to adapt their language.

@@calvincastiel5663 Bom dia Calvin, Tia Dora here, I had two brothers from Angola living with me after they fled Angola and through them i met so many Angolano's mainly young men, friends of theirs and i feel the need to tell you, people from your country are awesome when it comes to their characters even when they beber cerveja too much lol, party animals and i learned how to dance Kizomba with them, i miss them so so much since the civil war ended and they left to go back home, because of a broken pjone i lost contact with them.

I like this honesty. Filipino are super family oriented, and if you leave home by yourself in another country and live there, relatives will ask did not your parents or family just go with you and chaperoned you to the new country you are living or even the airport? Sometimes this is deterrent to Filipino progress, we don’t teach them enough how to be independent. I know 40 and 50 year olds that still live with their parents. I get the familial and sense of community and utang na loob, but at time it is too much. It is good to move, to see the world, to know you have a life.
Anyways when Calvin mentioned that he is leaving and living here and had not gone back to Nigeria for 7 years, it is relatable to the expat life.
thank you too to Dorcas, for making these vlogs. It educates many foreigners what to expect when they get here. I feel bad too as a Filipina that our government or even integration services for foreigners are not well initiated for the growing student visa applicants that come to this country.
But this vlog is realistic.

Baguio in the north is a place to be in summer time,this December the temp.there would be like 12 degrees and at night it drops to negative degrees.

talking about poverty here in America. We have a lot of homeless people here in California specially in L.A. & San Francisco. You'll see a lot of tents where they lived under the freeway & bridges. Poverty is everywhere here in the States. The Gap between rich & poor is widening & the middle class is shrinking. The rich gets richer & the poor gets poorer.

@@dantesalazar7805 what do you mean by that question? Please make some sense. Let me ask you this, have you been ever on one? Or, have you ever flown and landed on an aircraft onboard an aircraft carrier? Please be nice to her.
The only way you can be poor and homeless is if you are lazy. There lots of work that could be found in America but if your choice is to wait for hand out and not work then you will surely be poor and homeless. San Francisco and Los Angeles are places with high cost of living so of course, if you earn just a minimum wage it would be very hard to live a decent living. And, if you are just waiting for hand out or welfare money from the state, then you are for sure will be hungry, poor and homeless. So, what is your choice? Go find your luck with jobs from other states that don't have high costs of living. If you are an immigrant that rely on social security income then you still have to find a supplemental income to support yourself and your family if you have one. Here in America, a college degree is a must for higher income. So, good luck.

@@dantesalazar7805 America is not poor, but poverty still exists there. Same with PH, actually. PH is a middle income country but poverty is still a big problem here.
i guess the humidity of the Philippines is from the surrounding seas of the islands because when the sea evaporates the water vapor goes to land which cause a heavy air and temperature will be trapped in the water vapor which is the humidity
