    True. If you are nice and humble, you can go even to "scary" places in the Philippines, and the people will most likely be nice to you. But if you enter with a macho posture with the intention of intimidating people with your strength, Filipinos will react negatively and you will not like where you end up. I think this is what makes Filipinos unique. Strength does not intimidate us. But we are always ready to help. I think this is what Communist China does not understand. We are not scared of strength. If you bully us, we will resist with all our might and risk our lives. But if you befriend us, we are your most wonderful friend.

      The risk with that is we Filipinos can also be gullible when it comes to being manipulated by other foreign powers who project friendship but actually have an agenda. Case in point: America.

    • @josephmariealba8483
      @josephmariealba8483 9 місяців тому +5

      @@JanSuing I am not sure about Case in point: America - sounds like outdated Mao Tse Tung - CCP era and out of topic. What I mean is, for Filipinos - a friend is a friend is a friend. Just like a friend of a friend of a friend is a friend. But it can quickly flip. A foreign entrepreneur was asked about doing business in the Philippines, her response is, be careful with the heart of the Filipino. If you are sincere to Filipinos, you may not be the highest paying employer, but they will stand by you. But if you display an arrogant attitude or hurt their feelings, they will leave you, and will not even go back to get their backpay. So , she said, her lesson of doing business in the Philippines is be emotionally intelligent and sincere.

    I like your vlog, Calvin. I hope more content creators will be inspired by your interviews. I also hope you will feature Filipino content creators because Filipinos need inspiring stories. Most Filipinos still don't see UA-cam as an opportunity. They don't enjoy the grind of creating content. Instead, they would rather work abroad because they see it as an easier way to escape poverty. They believe that only crazy people like Congtv and celebrities can become UA-camrs, which is why they think UA-cam is not for everyone. It saddens me whenever I hear this. Filipinos are creative and talented people, yet they still overlook this opportunity. It's right here, but they fail to recognize it.
    Anyone can be like Mr. Beast and eventually produce better content similar to his. Mr. Beast began by simply playing Minecraft, but now he organizes real-life games. At that time, PewDiePie was the number one UA-camr, and Mr. Beast was his big fan. He even created content about PewDiePie's UA-cam earnings and his aspiration to emulate him 9-10 years ago. Now, Mr. Beast has surpassed PewDiePie and is producing superior content. I hope more people will seize the opportunity on UA-cam; it can serve as a stepping stone to a better role here on earth.

    If you have a good sense of Humor, fun and not sarcastically speaking, people will understand you, make the people also understand you first easily. Don't let the people try to understand you, right away or else they will go away from you.

    Yes, there's no job available for foreigners unless your boss is also a foreigner. In that case, he will invite you to come and he will process your work visa. However, you can't simply go directly to the Philippines and find a regular job. The government still wants to protect the job security of Filipinos. But of course, you can still go directly to the Philippines and find a job such as a models, content creator, singer, or celebrity because those roles are freelance.
