Thanks for explaining that you have to get used to knuckle guard’s because for me it would fell super tight and now I know my gloves just have to break them in

So I picked these up and they do feel tight inside the glove (I do have really cheap gloves though) - your tips on stuffing t-shirts or socks inside the glove is something I would have never thought about! Great review Carlo. If I didn’t have a couple pairs of Fortress wraps I might have bought these. I do love my Fortress wraps, but this is a nice alternative!

Hey Carlo, about to Nopollo reflex bag, can you try lowering this bag to the lowest height, and then stacking some stuff underneath the whole thing? I would like to know if ur rebounds faster and is a lot better than at max height.
Hey man, how did you measure your hand size for those? Should I keep the fingers together while measuring or should they stay apart? When my fingers are together I have a 8.5 cm wide palm. Unfortunately they only have the size S/M in stock... Would you recommend to take the larger size? I'm right between the two sizes.

I recently got the Fairtex bgv9 in 10oz. The hand compartment is kind of small and snug. Do you think I'll be able to wear these with the gloves I have? How could I make the hand compartment bigger?
You should make a video on your best gel knuckle pads, whenever i use them i get bad circulation to my hands, would love to find a decent set

Hello Carlo, thank you so much for your reviews. I’ve bought many equipment relying on your reviews and it helped me a lot. I’ve had a broken metacarpal and had surgery. I’ve returned to boxing and currently i am using winning ng-2 pads but i feel like i need some more protection. How would you compare these knuckle guards compared to ng-2’s in protection wise? It is obvious that these are thicker. Do you think that these offer more protection for the hand?
I am using Adidas speed tilt 350’s in 16 ounces by the way

I'm currently using 1 gel insert (removed from cheap Everlast gel wraps), sandwiched by 2 quite thin foam exercise mat cutouts (the gel slides if against the skin) - all with slits for wraps to get right into the knuckle, Rival wraps and some electrical tape to stiffen it up.
It would be much easier if something like this worked for me. What I tend to find is the materials are either too soft or the fit is too loose in and around the knuckles, particularly after some use. I feel I get good feedback off the bag this way, while still taking out the shock. Virtually no movement as well after a full session.
I haven't used this product yet but thought I'd share a system I've had success with.
My main problem was my right index finger/knuckle moving too much on impact with straights. Made worse by the amount of gloves that don't encourage you to land flush/cater for longer fingers. So bringing the knuckles forward was important for me.
Thanks to this channel, I'm also now using Phenom gloves, which even in the 14oz, after a couple sessions, have got me landing flat with enough length in finger compartment.
And for anyone with wrist issues, I actually found switching down from 16's to 14's has helped a lot. Shots can be more precise on the bag and less lateral hand movement in the glove - all things that contribute to this.
I’ve always used toilet paper for my knuckles to protect them and then put the wraps over, however, I’m now thinking about buying these. Thank you for the review

I mean even when the padding of the MX will wear out quicker you have at least this extra padding from the guards under the glove... Btw. would you do a review of the Salvador Training Gloves in the future ?

I have 16oz Cleto + extra padding
I also have 14oz Cleto, which is tighter.
What ounce gloves would you use them for?
They look easier to apply than the Skulltec gel pads. Agree?
Easier to use yes because they’re built in. I’d use them for the 16s, but it all depends on hand compartment size and if you need the extra protection regardless of glove style

Hey Carlo, what are your thoughts on using basketball shoes for boxing?
Not a fan because the sole is too thick and grippy so you typically don’t feel as planted to the floor as you would with traditional boxing shoes

I prefer the hotsuit because it warms up faster. But the boxraw quality is nicer

Have you ever suffered from neck pain after training? I was hitting the heavy bag yesterday and I threw a body shot but I felt a tug on the right side of my neck. It’s nothing serious but it’s a small annoying pain lol
I haven’t from boxing, sounds like you should warm your muscles up more before training to prevent injury

No, I think you may be wrapping your hand incorrectly or too tight

Really looks like they just modified Fortress nano handwraps to just the knuckle padding and added standard handwrap to it. Also looks like it even uses the same mesh material. Not that original, would you say it’s knock off of Fortress style make?
