I got a courage as well and find the same about the base. Sticks better than some other brand PU bases. The surface is not quite as soft as I'd like but I do realize it's required for the speed. Ghostglides went crazy with that art as well!
Banger review!! Seeing this design looks so good, different from alot of the other designs we see normally. I was so close to buying this aha had to hold off.
How slower is it compared to a glass pad like the Superglide and the Raiden Mid? I have the Superglide and do really good on it, but I'm looking for speed cloth pads that is like the Superglide but with slightly more stopping power so I don't overflick. Something between the Razer Strider and Superglide's speed would be fine by me. I think the Razer Strider is the lowest speed I can go. I bought the Tang Dao which was praised by people as a Zero Soft clone and I hated how tuggish and slow it was, so control pads aren't for me. I want low static friction but enough stopping power. So far this pad looks perfect.
It is difficult to compare cloth pads to glass pads, but I would say that the courage pad is a fair bit slower than the superglide, Courage isn't at all wriggly, and the superglide was (from memory, its been a while since i used a superglide). I'd say the neptune is a but faster and maybe offers the properties you're seeking (or closer to it than the courage), but make sure you buy the pro version!
@@Log_Pile Thank you for your answer! I ended up buying the courage since the Neptune Pro isn't in my country. Also, I talked to one person who has the same opinion of you, but he also uses a RS2 Ultraglides skate which is faster than the Ice V2. I'm probably getting that skate with this pad. It would be interesting if you get your hands on all the Ultraglides variants! They have 7 speed variations ranging from the ultra-speed RS2 to the ultra-slow brake variant. For now they're only on Aliexpress sadly.
@@Log_Pile it's awesome, got some nice clips already, if it were a little lighter, it would be the best mouse ever for me, but I think they saved such an upgrade for the op2, I’ll wait for it and definitely buy it for myself
Hey Beatle, don't make me choose man 🤣 I'd have to say the Courage pad nips it in the design department, for me, but it's all personal preference. What do you prefer?
@@Log_Pile i cant choose it,i have crucible but it have sensor problem;so they refunded me.i wanna try glasspad but i love speed cloth pads too .please help 😤😤
@beatle6888 I would say, the dark chaos is quite wriggly at the end of your swipes, whereas the courage isn't. You'd probably need a sleeve for the dark chaos pad (but you might get away without one), and glass is a very different experience to cloth, even speed cloth pads (in my opinion). If you want to try glass, the Dark Chaos is a great option.
Nice review Log! Ghostglides design are always so unique and refreshing. This one sounds to have good performance too! 👍
Thank you Oli, I love all of their designs, and this pad slaps in Apex!

Hey Haris, I'm glad it's not just me that feels this way about the base!

Thanks Lemon, I know the feeling of having to hold off buying a pad 😅 it hurts but often a wise decision
