- Applying for a PGWP after finishing studies is a major step in one's journey in Canada. I have included all the important points that one needs to take care of while submitting the application and I tried to answer most common questions as well. Hi do we have to even apply and pay fees to restore status as student? On the form we just have the option to restore status as a worker so do we have to select that ? K am so confuse plz let me know
Hi Prabhjot, u have to pay fees separately to restore your status first and then apply for PGWP. Here is the link and you can directly read the detailed description of what u need to do. Hope this helps.

What if i am applying my work permit this month and put my current residing address, but im moving out and shifting to another address next month.. how can i change the mailing address?
Hi Varsha, you can put ur current address in the application, but when you move, I believe you will have to fill out a web form on IRCC website to update the address in the application
Hi brother, Thanks for informative video but I have a question, I have applied for my PGWP and I got the confirmation letter on the same day but in the letter they did not mention that I am authorized to work without any restriction like you showed in the last part of your video. Will I receive another letter soon or did I make any mistake?

Hello, the letter you receive same day is the application submission confirmation. You will receive another letter (like the one I showed in video) within a couple of days.

Hi Shafali, apologies for the late response. You can directly go to IRCC website and download the form from there, and also make sure that you have Adobe Acrobat installed in your computer.
Is the PGWP start date from the date we applied for the next 3 years or from the date we get approved. And after applying for the PGWP do I wait for the confirmation letter to continue work or I can continue during the time I received the confirmation letter
Hi Anirudh, PGWP start date will be the same as the date when it gets approved, and you can not legally work until you get the confirmation letter, which can take up to a few days after applying

Hi Diksha, if you have already submitted the application, you have to submit a web form(available on IRCC website) and make sure you include the application number and the corrected information.
