Duc Volpe has always intimidated me with his scenes, his difficulty in S1, and especially his voice in Spanish, more powerful more deeper, and more sinister, which makes your skin crawl. The Wolf has always been and always will be my favorite villain and antagonist since my childhood.
Facing Wolf in Mission 80 even without Nizar or Caliph around is tough as heck, those 4 mangonels are ruthless, he's given the best castle for the ultimate mission.

What is funny is that since stronghold 1 takes place in the mid 11th century, and the third crusade which is depicted in stronghold crusader takes place in the late 12th century, the wolf would have to be almost like 2 centuries old.

I just wanted to say thank you to firefly studios at this point. Stronghold has literally accompanied me my entire life and started my love for anything medieval. Especially strategy games. Age of Empires, total war, i have done it all. Hell i bought most of your games again when they came out on Steam. And the Wolf is my favorite character, im sure i wont be the only one to say this. If you ever make a game with a campaign of his beginnings or how he became the accomplished warlord he is in the first place, i would most likely break my principles of not preordering anything anymore (made some bad experiences there)

I was first introduced to Stronghold 1 in 2011/2012 and it absolutely CAPTIVATED me. I will never forget the memories of making a nonsense castle thinking it looked cool 😎. The Wolf was a character I looked up to in terms of design and strategy. I wish his ark in Sh1 was just a TAD longer because I wanted to see him really punch some players into the wall. Stronghold 3 was an absolutely PHENOMENAL sequel to Sh1 in terms of ATMOSPHERE and overall feeling. I loved Sh1 and Sh3 both and will continue to have my support until the day I die.

You guys put so much great work in the lore and it was so prevalent in 1 and 2.... each game after has fallen really far. SH 3 was and still is completely unplayable and was never fixed. Crusader Kings 2 was good but had no story campaign. Then.... your most recent Warlords is just a glorified mobile game with no substance. Why would you guys bring back all if this great lor that made the series so amazing and then still not make anything close to it? You have time to relive lore from the first game released YEARS ago and was amazing and you're left living with it because the recent games are not good. Fix SH 3 for starters if you want to talk Duc Volpe. The game is over a decade old you guys just kept it to crap. Warlords just no.
I wished I would have experienced the story of Stronghold 3 firsthand instead of being told, the game just keeps on crashing and if it doesn't the bugs make playing the game a pain. Bummer. But better have been told the whole story than only knowing half of it.
I love Stronghold, but damn this is so historcally inaccurate, don't get me wrong, it's a classic game that i love, but the wolf it's wearing a 16th century armour in the 11th century, i think his helm is an armet not a sallet and how did he got stabbed through his breastplate, i don't demmand answers, these are just concerns i didn't had a few years ago and came to my mind after i learned more history.

They will never surpass Stronghold 1 HD. The best they could do is fixing the last little bugs in Stronghold 1.
