I love that spot! Limit out on mangroves there almost every trip. They weren't there when I went last month, but good to know they are still there. I've been spooled a couple of times by some monsters there!
Your videos are excellent. Can’t get enough! I’ll be staying 1/2 mile from the east jetty next week. On the gulf side. Any tips!? Looking to fish the jetty and surf
@@TheLawlessTide Grass was gone for us. My sons and I caught some nice size pompano in the surf. Cleaned and cooked them the same day. They were delicious!
@@TheLawlessTide Your videos cleared up some things for me and i was able to put it all together because of your content. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
You may have answered my question of where I'm going to fish next. I'm debating between the jetty & Navarre Beach national seashore. I'll probably do both but seeing you land nice fish there, it does make the choice a little more difficult.
I noticed Mr. Crane lurking around behind you. Lol! Probably the same beggar that was following me around when I was fishing there. Is the one legged pelican still hopping around there looking for handouts?
What was the fish you caught for live bottom rig and you have link to rig I saw James Choctaw beach use big hook in top of Crocker fish through it out off boat ramp and leave it out there . Said he caught cobia and mostly sharks out there in bay
@@TheLawlessTide where you getting Carolina rigs , I have been thinking about making some up , the hematite magnetic beads and tungsten beads is what I believe James at Choctaw boat launch was talking about ,used on his home made leaders .
Finally made it to the emerald coast a couple weeks ago. Stayed by Crystal beach, but visited that spot Thursday after Labor Day. Had a blast and reeled in fish on every outing. I have to say thank you for the videos; they definitely helped me on my first real surf/shore fishing trip.
Ok I found it! I actually went back and played the video a few times and located the spot on Google Maps. Thanks for the response! Any tips for fishing Destin this time of year?? Thinking about hitting the this hot spot, a little jetty fishing and I’m renting a pontoon to try some of the spots underneath the bridges.
Hey man. Can you drop a screenshot of where this area is on a map and post it? I want to try it out. I am new to the area and trying to get back into saltwater fishing.

We always like to hit little pools at the point near there too. I’ve been snorkeling to understand the structure and then catching some fat mangroves.
was a nice day, hopefully water clears up coming down fri
FROM Fred "hook a brotha up Sean" lol
Great vid bro. Nice Mangroves
Haha, I might’ve snuck him a pinfish. Thanks buddy!
I heard some people talking about red tide conditions have you noticed anything, I have been putting off going out, thanks for any updates
It’s here, from FWB all the way to Panama City. Hopefully this full week of north winds will push it all way way offshore
@@TheLawlessTide thanks for the update brother keep the videos coming, hopefully I can run into you out on the water one day
Awesome I cant wait till next week!!
Thanks

Looking to fish the jetty and surf
It will all depend on the sargassum and June grass. Right now it's bad, hopefully it clears up.

That's awesome! Congrats on the pompano.

Awsome video man we fished there a couple days ago
Thanks, how’d you do?
Love it. Nice to see you catching keepers from that area. Later,
Thanks!

Didn’t see hop along that day, lol.
Take 32oz gatorade bottle full of water and freeze it overnight. Put in your bait cooler and bait will stay alive a lot longer
I usually do that, and halfway to spot I realized I left frozen bottle in the freezer. 🤬
Where do you buy the live shrimp from that little tackle store by AJs
We stay right across from the Jetty. Where did you buy your live shrimp? I assume this was a low tide with dirty water. Thanks!
Bay Baits
@@TheLawlessTide Thank you!

I’ve heard them called different things, mainly pigfish and grunt.

@@MrMechanicandy I just keep it simple: plastic beads, egg sinker, ball bearing swivel, and fluoro leader.
I love Destin

Putting on a clinic as usual! Great stuff. Are you sight casting?
Thanks buddy!
A couple times I was, I was just looking for what looked like gaps between the big rocks.
I've fished that area afew times myself & down by the bridge...took home afew sandwiches
What was the bait caster brand and rod
Baitcaster is Lew’s super duty 300 on St croix musky mojo rod. Really heavy setup.
Hey where is this spot located exactly? I’m going to be fishing the area in about 2 weeks.
Destin harbor area.

WHERE IS THIS PLACE THAT YOU ARE FISHING
hello. .can someone tell me exactly where that place is. thank you
Its shut down while they are building a condo there

Believe it was a size 1 circle hook and half ounce weight.
Hey man. Can you drop a screenshot of where this area is on a map and post it? I want to try it out. I am new to the area and trying to get back into saltwater fishing.
Its shut down now they are building another highrise there.
Darn it. Any other spots you could recommend a first timer around there to try and get some mangrove snappers for lunch?
My wife and I are driving over from Atlanta in mid march
Blue Heron beggar! Haha
Where is this Destin?
Noriega Point.
@@TheLawlessTide Definitely going to check this place out next week
Bring some glass minnow jigs or spoons for Spanish, they are all over that area right now.
@@TheLawlessTide For sure thanks!
This is the coordinates to that spot. Just google them
30° 23.431'N
86° 30.627'W
ughhh i was asleep again
Really Gabby? You can use that excuse only so many times.
@@TheLawlessTide Did you want me to lie and say I wasn't sleeping Sean?
Simple fun fishing. Too bad you didn’t take a cooler.
Yeah really.
I want to catch a shark on the beach
I do land based shark fishing charters.
Lawless can make that happen! The Fam and I had a great time shark fishing from the beach a couple months ago. Highly recommend.
Thanks Ian!
