Rebuilding a Salvage C6 Corvette in My Driveway *Part 4* (Radiator Support Replacement)

- In this episode we replace the radiator core support / skid bar plate with a custom support that is better then oem. And fix up the wiring to the exhaust and sound system.
Over the coming weeks I will be restoring rebuilding the corvette in my driveway just using common hand tools. The point of this build is to inspire people with not much car rebuilding experience or tools (like me) to go out there and get the car that they want on a budget and rebuild it.

use rubbing alcohol for sticky parts like. that glue it wont damage the clear coat .

Great job. This will be a good reference as things eventually need replaced on my c6, hopefully a very long ways down the road lol. My lower rad bracket is scuffed good but doesn’t seem bent up or unusable yet.

What kind of exhaust?
How long did lower radiator support take to arrive from California? Factory welds are so bad my broke worse than yours. Most experienced welders wont mess with. Thanks for time also from fellow C6 owner enjoy video but, please use safety glasses when grinding. Learned hard way

As a mustang owner, you know any places to buy used OEM parts for Mustang, I need a passenger Frame Rails, but man it's hard to find, I got the driver side but no luck for the other side, thank you an advance bro...
Check out car-part.com it’s basically a directory for all junk yards and auto part yards across USA. Just search for the part you need there and give the yard a call that has the best price or is closest to you.
