Click & Snap || LOAD225 Day 5 || CSI Case 448 February 2025

I "found" a few cherished-but-forgotten things during my recent frenzy of reorganization. One of those was the wood veneer Greek Goddess and another was the printed photo of Allie taken in 2008. Since then she's begun to morph into the goddess she was always meant to be. This met the story requirements for thee LOAD prompt and the technique was the distressing of the paper strips.
And there's a whole lot of good detective work here on this page! I used the patterns on the boat sails -- dots, stripes,, flowers, etc., along with banners, books and birds to represent Allie's love of reading and the outdoors, a color wheel, twine and tiny acrylic and punched items with jewel stars. I just love challenges that make me think and take a slightly different approach from what I might do otherwise. I'm SO happy to have worked CSI into my rotation because it looks like now I'll be a regular on their design team!
