    These mini-series adventures are as fun as the original cartoon series, and 1000 times better than the crap the movie studios have produced. I'd love to see what you guys could do with a huge budget, more voice actors and plenty of time to write and produce a whole catalog of these adventures. I think Larry Hama would be proud of these...and I'd love to see a collaboration between him and real fans like GI Joburg, to finally produce the GIJoe movies the fans really want to see.

    • @gijoburg
      @gijoburg  6 років тому +1

      I'd say the pipe dream is to keep up a steady trickle of these series, build up our indie following to the point that one day, when GI Joe is hip with the kids again, and Hasbro rediscover that sacred toyline that built their mansions in the 1980s, someone in that boardroom name drops some of the content here on UA-cam - what can we learn from FORMBX257; HOODED COBRA COMMANDER 788; GI JOBURG? One can only hope, right?
      And thank you for the compliment. Very heartwarming that this stuff has found an appreciative audience. YO JOE!

    • @thebluelibra5686
      @thebluelibra5686 6 років тому +1

      Good content made with real heart is a rare thing, and that's what's lacking in most of the reboots. As a kid, I had MOTU, TMNT, the Batman Animated Series, but GIJoe was always at the top of the list, and the most sacred to me...and as a teen and an adult, I cringed at the lack of quality in the original and reboot series and movies. I don't know that the 1980s magic can be reproduced in today's world, but Larry Hama's comics have always been the blueprint...with heart put into creating a movie or series, like the Netflix Daredevil and Punisher series, or what AMC studios has done with TWD, I think that could be the rebirth of GIJoe. The heart is with the fans and content creators like you guys and others, so someone in those boardrooms better damn well start dropping some names! Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to the rest of this series, and the next, and the next... YOJOE!

    Lol, even tho u can see his hands and himself, it's still pretty good. It's like a ventriloquist who moves his mouth along with the puppet, but it's still entertaining. Well done👍

    I have watched this video like 4 times its so fun to watch. I think its even better with mouthed sound effects and seeing human hands handle the toys. Voice acting was superb too and the accents were right on. I hope theres more coming, Id rather watch this than any of the last two GI Joe movies.

    • @gijoburg
      @gijoburg  6 років тому +1

      For me it's all down to the vehicles, and you can't beat the classics. And I want the figures intended for em. So my decision was pretty much made for me. That and we tend to play the nostalgia note pretty hard on this channel!

    The makers of the GI Joe cartoon back in the 80s should've thought of this.. this is actually kind of better. They would've cleaned up selling the toys

    • @gijoburg
      @gijoburg  6 років тому +2

      Ha! Like full length episodic commercials! They featured kids playing with the toys in the old skool commercials, if they ran with that idea they could have put out a much more cost effective show than traditional animation... it would be ahead of its time! I wonder what the reception of it would be like? Too ahead of its time maybe? Maybe...

    It’s like watching reruns of myself playing with GI Joes coming up with my own scenarios. These guys are awesome, I hope they get to make move soon, they do need some special effects though cuz the sound effects has ne busting a gut here. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
