You are such an inspiring teacher and very nuanced in the way you demonstrate and explain to paint in different styles. I really appreciate that even if I normally is an intuitive painter. David.... as a beginner I have watched video after video tutorials on painting a rose. Although they were all very well done, I felt I was not getting something about it. I have tried and tried to paint a rose and was beginning to feel my 8 year old grandson could paint one better than me. The way you explained the concept of positioning the petal and how you paint your petals is exactly what I've needed to hear. I can't wait to get started on my next rose!
