How dare you call the sonic emitter a weapon?? It is a medicinal marvel. You monster!
Opera Singer's description is misleading: the dismemberment effect means that it will automatically cripple one of the enemy's limbs on a critical hit if they are still alive.
Tarantula crits have a fairly high chance of proccing an isnta kill explosion effect, combined with all the energy weapon crit up buffs, you can insta kill upto 50% of your shots ( it can also cause chains with melt down)
This combined with it working with pyro makes it one of the highest damage energy weapons in the game, competing with pew pew and the YCS
I keep a sonic emitter around for opening force fields, but otherwise I prefer using the LAER.
The pulse gun is a great weapon in the wrong game. There simply aren't enough robots or people in power armor for it to really shine. In Fallout 3 or 4, the pulse gun would be an absolute beast of a gun.
Probably why New Vegas only has one type of "Pulse" weapon when Fallout 2 had an additional "Pulse Rifle" in its roster, makes more sense to just keep the Pulse Pistol variant in the game if there is going to be so few robotic enemies to face.
means you gotta grab it and head to the east coast with ToTW,,
The robo scorpion one is not loot from the robot. It is up the stairs just b4 you enter mobious room
Thanks for that!
i like the Sonic Emitter, you can just repair it by switching it at the Jukebox and that makes it a permanent sidearm for me, even if it is better used against Power Armor and Robots over Living Things.
If you're doing a pyro punch build with the superheated saturnite fist Tarantula is great to carry for backup
Yeah that is a good combo!
Sonic emitter add playstyles on there variants from what I see and you've done a good job.
Tarantula is pyro-style.
Robo-scorpion is explosives ( crowd control ).
Gabriel's bark knockback is the "and stayback" good for single targets with big hp.
Opera singer.. Fatality.
Revelation - robots is sad.
Best thing about em is that sweet sweet audio line that gives me the dopamine.
A future Fallout really should include more energy weapons that have whacky effects beyond just more damage. Would give them more identity.
Opera Singer could be viable if you used the glitch that lets you bring companions into Dead Money. I forget how you do it, but I know you start by using the Veronica glitch to recruit a bunch of simultaneous companions, then you do something (maybe dismissing the most recently recruited companion, since the game considers that to be your only "real" companion), then you go into the bunker and a random subset of your companions follow you into the Sierra Madre and, since the game doesn't expect them to be there, it doesn't take away their inventories.
Tarantula seems like a solid side arm for an energy-flamer character.
I really like the effect it has when shooting
from here on out, I'm gonna call it Yeet Machine!
The dismember effect makes the weapon more fun to use
Random question. What is your favorite playstyle?
Great video mate
Thanks 👍
First time I did Veronica's personal quest I brought the Pulse Gun to the Followers of the Apocalypse's outpost and OH BOY, it sucked... I loaded a save and got my Riot Shotgun, brought all of the pulse slugs I was hoarding the entire game and felt like I was using the world most powerful can opener. It really did not feel like it was doing 110 damage at all with the pulse gun. Maybe it was a bug or something and it didn't register that it was targeting power amor users.
Sounds like super low Energy Weapon skill also Shotguns are just busted overall lmao
I just wanna know how your game doesnt seem to crash with 10 times the enemy spawns. I cant even go 2 minutes into old world blues without it crashing. That DLC refuses to work, on my old PC and my new gaming PC
Look up Viva New Vegas and only do the "Base" section of the guide, no need to go over to the "Expanded" section unless you intend to mod the game further, hope this helps. :)
Get some of the engine update mods. Or patch mods.
Even with all the stability mods I was crashing in Old world blues when fast traveling 10% of the time.
Cool
I beg of you please don't use centaurs as backround footage. Those things freak me out.
Bruh 😬
Then you should like it when he kills them
This with a high crit and the meltdown perk is💋🤌
Yeah it can be pretty good then.
I've always wished these transferred better into the rest of the game. They're different enough to be fun but just not a thing I use after.
