I lost my grandpa when I was 8 years old and then it was harder to grasp the idea, but now I can’t help but get a little teary eyed when I think of him. Santa Monica and west l.a. is a really nice area of Los Angeles county. I grew up there. Santa Monica Pier is very cool. so glad you had a good time! your Easter seemed fun too. Chew gum on your flight, especially during take-off and landing. It works for most people. Back in the day, the flight attendants (stewardesses' back then ) use to hand out gum to the passengers. The chewing motion keeps you from getting pressure in your ears to begin with. I've heard it works well with babies to have them chomping on a binky or being breastfed during take-off.
