I upgraded the stock 130mm travel fox rhythm 34 fork to 150mm travel by replacing it with a longer air shaft. The additional 20mm travel also adds slack to tackle bigger drops and steeper slopes for around $60 if you diy.
Just picked me up a Fuse Expert 29r size medium badass bike especially upgrading from a ancient 1996 Rockhopper full rigid. So far made some upgrades added a front mud guard and some upgraded pedals. Picked it up at my local specialized store in Chicago had them set it up tubeless and they threw some sealant for free. Only complaint I had was the valve core wasn’t tightly secured so I was going to adjust pressure and needed to use a Adapter to convert to presta and unscrewing after I aired up removed the core and the tire debeaded which thankfully happened at home and I went out and purchased a valve core tool and hasn’t happened since. I do give them props dork disc was removed and reflector didn’t even need to ask it was a fresh build out of the box had to put 500$ down to start the building process.
Basic Fuse ($1600) vs. Fuse Sport ($2000). Both 27.5" Is the extra $400 for the Fuse sport worth it? This is what's available in my general area. Thanks for any input on this.
Is it possible for you to do a review on Canyon Roadlite? I just purchased a Trek FX4 but I wish I heard of the Canyon before purchasing the Trek. Canyon is much lighter and is a sharper looking bike too. You know what they say about hindsight, don't you? Maybe I'll upgrade next year again. Oh well!
Was this weighed with or without tubes? I can hardly find accurate measurements and it looks like these bikes are heavy.. is it the frame or what makes it so heavy? I want to buy the frame and build it myself with lightweight components and I have no idea if i can make it zippy or not
The Roscoe 9 is a bit heavier, but it has 10mm more travel, as well as an slx/XT drivetrain, which is a lot better than GX imo. It also has a longer dropper if that's something you worry about. It really just depends on what kind of trails you're riding. That said, bang for buck the Roscoe is probably better.
Since the Roscoe 9 is virtually unavailable anywhere in the U.S., the Specialized Fuse Expert is much more practical. If you want any Trek beyond their entry level Marlins, be prepared to wait YEARS for it to arrive. Trek is terrible at providing inventory beyond what it took to provide the photos for their website.
@@Toglander have to agree 100%. At least Specialized let’s you know where the inventory is sitting. You can travel and get one if you want. Trek is no luck.

what bike is the better choice? Specialized fuse or chisel ?

Is that hard to do yourself?
Sliding dropout also allows for single speed. Yeah some of us ride SS.
You don't say 😂

Congrats on your new bike

Your transitions are smooth, "and connecting this to the ground . . .".
Picked up a 2023 fuse comp 29 for 1500 on sale, beast of a bike
What’s the difference between comp and expert? And which one do you prefer?
Loving the 2021 Fuse Comp 29 I just picked up. Great hardtail.
Awesome
Nice. All a beginner should need.
Thanks for the review 👍
What is the price?
Check with your local bike shop, or see the link in the video description for my local bike shops price.
I own a 2013 Carve and it's been a nice ride over the years. Im now after an upgrade but this is way overpriced at £2750 😲
I have the 2015. So far so good but iam curious whats the difference on the newer and the older one like mine

I would, but Canyon does not sell through a dealer, and I'm not able to purchase one for review.
Roscoe 8 or this? Cant decide. Thank you guys. Ride safe.

Excelent spec, but the geo is a blast from the past!
Really been between this and the Roscoe 9
any thoughts?
Roscoe
Fuse

Got one of these about 3 months ago it’s amazing, please review a Enduro expert 2022 as well 🙏
Went to see one today...nice .$$??
Is there any big difference between the fuse sport and fuse expert?
Big difference
Th e bike is beautiful but the brake and drop post cable routing underneath the bike is a turned off… that could get stuck on a stick
Is that sliding dropout going to end up being problematic over time?
My commuter/trail bike after work is a fuse sport. Its cheap though. This one is kinda pricy. Id rather have a growler. But thats just me.
Was the bike installed with tubes when weighed? Also any comments on how this compares spec wise to the Roscoe 9?

@@ajojoseph6052 Interesting. In Europe I can find Treks no problem, finding a Fuse is a problem.
That rear reflector does no good, loaner bike. I’m sure it’s a good bike.
Very nice but way out of my budget 😔
I sold my chameleon and bought this .
Don’t ask me why but it rides faster .
Probably heavier
Looks like a cheap alternative to a Santa Cruz chameleon
Better specs. than a similarly priced chameleon for less money though
👌
