    I ❤ The video. Although I’ve learned so much watching people. It was still good to watch yours. I was just telling my sister that. Because everyone can teach you a little more about care. Thank you so much.

    A grass pole? Wow that seems so innovative! And probably more sustainable tbh. Love how much you work against waste 🙌🏽

    I have found a method called knotching that you can do to bare stem vines. You take out a chunk right above a growth node and the hormones the plant sends to repair the chunk will usually cause the growth point to activate. So something worth trying in the future babe!

    The countdown before the first cutting of plant had me rolling!! lol! I was about to ask about perlite and bark soil mixtures . Thank you for explaining the reality of access to varied soils in your area. I also love the idea of a gardening supplies shopping video. That would be fun to see!
    ((Secretly I was vibing to the background music 🎶 😎))

    Interesting, up here in North America they say don’t put anything organic in your soil to make root rot possible, never seen anyone chop up old leaves to add to the pot. Interesting, like tropical plant composting
    This was fun! Thanks love!!

      Thank you . Oh I really do not go by those rules . I do it all the time . The only exception is when I see the leaves or bits of the plant have a pest infestation

      Was thinking the same thing but it might be equivalent to using worm castings and compost..🤷🏾‍♂️ I may be wrong. However it must be working bc his plants are thriving!

      I place dry leaves on the bottom and the middle of the pot too. My plants are gorgeous. Leaves provide nutrients. That’s all the trees get in the forest and occasionally a dead animal. Lots of people used leaves in the compost. 🪴Happy Planting🌿

    I’d love to see and hear about your grass poles.
    Sphagnum moss is readily available for me in North America, and I use them regularly. BUT! Knowledge and experience from other portions of the world is so very interesting! Your commentary regarding your use of coco coir was fascinating.

    I noticed that you cut the extra stem up and tossed it in the pot with the soil, do you also use cinnamon to the cut bits or no, thanks Ginger

    • @TheMillennialPlantDad
      @TheMillennialPlantDad  Місяць тому +1

      I didn’t. Those extra bits I don’t have the intention for them to grow or sprout, just to add as nutrients as they break down

    You dont have to chop it, it can gro from the top if you post it up right

    Yoah! Why did you cut the plant before you take it out of the pot? You could have tried air layering or something.
