It's marketing 101 these days. Paying content creators to advertise your stuff under the guise of a regular video is incredibly common. That's why so many content creators get early access codes to games. They gave him footage and points to say for the video

Nerd complaint: I get that the pronunciations for characters and placenames are a funny bit among creators but can we at least get the pronunciations in the official video?

wyrm can refer to a dragon. and anteaters have a tongue that looks like a worm. but tongue can refer to a language so Wormtongue, an anteater, is at the remains of a Wyrm (dragon) and can talk to you because it's master Tongue skills (licking up bugs and talking in other languages somehow). it's one big bundle of puns.
I was saving all my herbs only to find out I need to use all of them to train to 60 Herblore. They could have mentioned this requirement in the newspost. The only thing with herblore requirement mentioned are potion packs you can get as rewards. Turns out I won't even be able to do the activity.

Jagex thx for the info. If we are getting these status updates on Varlamore can we get someone from latin america to do them? We can actually pronounce the names of the Aztec sounding places and NPCs that are added. One example is Kaoz who I think is from Mexico
Jagex, you missed a big oppertunity to base the new leagues around Varlamore just like you did with Zeah so that people would get more familiar with the new area and it's content.
In 2013, i was 100% certain Runescape is going to die in the next 3 years after you released your EoC Update. Seeing Runescape rise of it's ashes like that, and Jagex learning so much from it's past mistakes, fills me with immense joy.
Content looks good. Area design is solid, boss looks fun, minigame looks maybe a little tedious, but nothing unbearable. Love seeing all the challenged 06 mainliners struggling with basic pronunciation, too. Content from the video, comedy from the comments.
I play a main account but Valamore seems in general like a great place for irons maybe not for me but if I ever play some hardcore chunk locked iron or something I’ll definitely start in valamore! Looks super fun but just not super great for mains

I think "muddy pages" would have been a better name than soiled. Soiled makes it sound like i've doodoo'd into a book!
