Agree totally. I bought 1 for 190 to use as an emergency backup should I ever damage my daily driver. One thing I hate is waiting for a replacement phone with no backup.
How to check if my galaxy note 20 is unlocked or locked? It is the T-Mobile version.
It's exactly why, instead of two phones to pick. The cheapies and the flagship. They make a middle phone giving you three choices, almost 90% of time they purchase the flagship because it's x amount more for x amount of phone.
Note 20 looks better to me. Flat screen, plastic back are my two top priorities on any phone lol.

I've owned this model for 2 years. I've upgraded to the Ultra since but what I never understood was the hate this model got. Even in 2023 the performance and display is solid. It's literally every bit of a Note as other devices minus the 120hz refresh and the QHD display. Glass backs are overrated. Just another thing that can shatter if you drop your phone.

The main reason am getting this over all other Samsung flagship...is it large, flat screen and hardly breakable...nvr forget when I broke my glass back of a days old phone...

I pulled the trigger and finally rooted my S6 edge running 5.0.2. Doing some research on XDA I found out that Samsung's 2015 flagship phones have this deep sleep bug if you root them and someone came up with a zip to fix this issue that you flash in custom recovery.
I got the note 20 cuz of the flat panel and the great price. It's wonderful. But in the future I think I'm getting the 22 or 23 ultra. Heard the anti accidental touch tech is getting better.

When does the security updates stop? I heard it got the 2023 security update but is that it? Does support end in 2024?
I was able to get a note 20 for 87 bucks only issue is a smal crack at the bottom left BUT while its missing the s pen i can always get another s pen AND its on T-Mobile which I have thanks for the review!
I also got a slightly used one for about $200. Beautiful display and value.
just got this Note 20 in green to replace my note 9 that was my all time favorite phone that recently went kapoot…paid $312 for a new in box unlocked version on eBay…s pen is my fav phone feature. I hated the rounded edges on the note 9, and I hated the glass back which ultimately shattered some from getting too hot on my car’s wireless charging port I think. Maybe there is a workaround for the lack of storage space u mentioned?
How about the battery life??
@lechonky19 so far so good. I turned on the feature that stops the charge at 85% to preserve the battery life....in one days use I go from 85 down to about 52%
This device is really underrated. I have the 4g version. So, I save battery and this device has a perfect flat screen with plastic back. I've dropped mine many times and it's been solid. I don't under why Samsung don't make flat screens.

I just got a mint condition Note 20 5G 256gb unlocked from a friend in mint condition for 100$. I am very happy with this phone. I love the fact it has the flat panel and doesn't have the glass back because I'm rough on phones. This phone has a beautiful display and killer features

I must say I love your honesty on the note 20 5g..am a huge fan of Samsung galaxy phones since I had my first Samsung galaxy core ..i don't know if it's possible for you to sell this note 20 to me ..i would love to buy from you if possible..am not a huge fan of the edge screens😂.my note 8 got broken since then I have being wanting to get my hands on a flat note like the note 20..i don't have much money on me ,but if its possible to sell let me know thanks...

Can someone suggest if i should get a note 9 or note 20, for daily use. My major requirement is smooth functionality with good enough battery and ofc sd card slot but i can keep that aside for choosing btw these two.
Choose note 20 Ultra it has SD Card feature.. its cheap in secondhand markets in pristine condition at $400
Man just do one thing for me, do a speaker test between the note 20, note 9 and note 10 , please keep my request, speakers are a deal breaker for me and I heard the bass declined after note 9.
I just came across the Mystic Red Unlocked Note 20 5G for around $230 Like new in box and decided to grab it.
I cant find a 256 gb model i dont want the ultra because the note 20 is a little smaller but i dont know if i ahoild get the note 20 ultra just because the expandable storage
Samsung did some things to nickel and dime their customers over the years. They were really trying to upsell people over the years: not allowing the base notes SD card slots for the 10 and 20, then onboard storage or RAM have changed over the years. The Note 10 had 256GB storage and 12GB RAM, the Note 20 downgraded the storage to 128 GB, the s22 Ultra downgraded to 8GB RAM, the S23 Ultra upgraded the storage to 256GB but kept the 8GB RAM: I am comparing just the base model. Not sure if the prices have dropped for the Note 20 Ultra but I see them for around $400 now and the Note 20 for $200. I think the Note 20 had so many drawbacks that it's priced lower than the Ultra. As for me I decided to buy the Ultra because it was just the better phone and I was willing to pay for the better camera, SD card slot, and better display with a higher refresh rate.

I only have 2 issues with my note 20. I have to long press the volume down and the other button underneath to turn it off and it doesn't have a headphone input. Not that I'm old fashioned but for a $1000 phone i should have the option of using a corded headphone or an AUX connection if I want to since Bluetooth kinda uses more battery life
you can't find $1000 phone with AUX, except for Sony

Yeah its better than the note 20 by a long shot. It depends on your budget since the s21 fe can still go up to 400 usd but u can find a note 20 for nearly 150$ cheaper. Spec wise a s21 fe is better
