Hi Chef! I think I may be reverting back to the original linkage. Reason being that I have a RevingtonTR header installed and the cable is only about 1 inch from the header after all my fiddling. I think that is just too close even if the inner jacket of the stainless cable is Teflon (which I can't confirm). I think I may just try and rebuild the bell crank to remove the slop. I just received my Prestige Autowood burl dash! It is sweet and I will be posting a video of it's install. Dave

Nice job Dave. Don't think I have the patience to do all that. May be some day if I replace the exhaust manifold.

May be you can rap the cable with something to protect it. It might not look so good but might do the job. I know they sell rap for exhaust parts.
