I used this case in my build almost a year ago and this is my favorite case of all time. It's only $75, but it has the quality of a $120+ case (most budget $75 cases will feel lighter, not this case, it's heavy and sturdy. It comes with 4 140mm fans and the stock fans are excellent. They are as quite as it gets and nothing ever runs over 40 C and the first 4 months I just used the stock fans. I had additional fans ready to go, but I just didn't get around to it and since everything was running insanely cool even with an intel i5 12600KF, I didn't bother initially installing my fans. Even when running high end games everything runs cool and quite. The one fan that I added that was beneficial was the one under the gpu, but even prior to that fan, it was hanging around 50 C. I don't know if it's because I run Linux but my temperatures are much cooler than the test temperatures that are demonstrated here. I wasn't going for looks but the case looks awesome and if you like to mess around with rgb lights this has 30 different options and everything is adjustable from the buttons on top of the case... You could even shut it off by holding the button for 3 seconds, so in those instances when I'm finishing off some torrents and leave my cpu running I could go to sleep without it looking like a RAV in my room. No need to change a setting in bios. I can't recommend this case enough. After nearly a year the fans are still completely silent, no rubbing or anything. It has to be the best budget case and it's note even close. It's even good for a $120+ case.
I hate hearing my fans. I would rather get less performance and have my pc quitter... however I've been using this case for almost a year and it's as quite as anything could be... I don't hear a thing and my temperatures run even cooler than the tests in this video show. Even when running high end games the fans have remained quite and my temperatures have remained exceptionally low and I'm using i5 12600kf. Perhaps when temps run high and the fans are forced to increase to 50%+ perhaps the fans runs louder compared to other fans at that rate.... but under a normal work load spin rate I don't know how they could be an quiter. I run Linux and everything tends to run exceptionally cooler in linux in my experience certainly with this, because non of my temps ever get over 50 C. My gpu would get to 60 C when high end gaming, prior to installing a fan underneath it
I had am AC in the living room when I went to Croatia and I hated every second of it. Without it, I'd die from the heat but with it running I'd go insane from the noise.
Amazing video! Got a one question about the ARGB hub. Can I control the ARGB by conecting ARGB cable to my motherboard? Or is it controled just by the button on the case??
Hi, i'm in the market for a case for my new computer and i was thinking between this montech and the corsair 4000d, i value build quality especially and don't care if i have to spend extra on fans, how these two compare and what would you recommend? also thinking in the Lancool 216
For the price, I think you can't beat the quality that this offers. I would recommend this over the 4000D as it's a little more spacious inside to allow for bigger GPU's, better radiator support. Plus if you're happy with the stock fans you won't have to spend even more money. The raw physical quality of this is superb, regardless of the price!
In India lian li lancool 216 and montech 930 air max and montech sky two all r priced almost same. Which will be better with thermals and atx motherboard?
@@ajstylesway I haven’t tested the 216 but with its 2 giant fans and mesh front I expect it to perform very well. The 216 is likely a better overall option. But the montech will be a lot better value.
The one downside I've found is that I can't find an English manual and I want the fans without the lights... Guess I'll have to go with trial and error the first few times I boot it up.
Okay, easiest way to do it is to connect the ARGB header to your motherboard. Then you can disable the fans from your motherboard software, like Asus armoury crate, msi mystic light etc. To sync the rgb with the motherboard you can hold down the RGB button on the case to sync it. Hope that helps, any questions just ask 👍🏼
@@TechHunterOfficial Oh, okay. If I can turn them off via software, that works too! Thank you. :) I'll be returning to try to untangle the wires this afternoon, after work, but I very much appreciate the reply.

I have this case, but b650 gaming motherboard doesn't quite line up with screw holes on the case. Does this motherboard fit the case? What am I doing wrong? Thanks
Amazing value, I hate noise though so maybe not for me lol. Although it didn't sound too bad in your video (I know that isn't the same as in front of me but yeh lol)

That's it. I play with a big headphone. Sorry to the ghosts for the fan noise!

Thank you so much for reviewing this case. I was very torn between this case and the deepcool CH560 but now im going to stick with deepcool.
@@huntingsweets6119 Good call, I really liked that case
Why did you choose deepcool mainly for?
Deepcool doesn't come with a argb fan hub

any chance you could take a look at the Lancool 216 ?
I’m kinda new to pc building, just wondering are there any constraints to house a water cooling system and if so what are they!
please compare Phanteks XT Pro Ultra VERSUS Montech Air 903 Max
Quick question because I'm a total beginner in pc building. If I upgrade the fans will the noise go down?(depending on the fans themselves of course)
@@vissdabeast6573 that is correct - if that’s your plan, look at the base model without rgb to save a bit of money

I have 3 extra corsair fans at the top, would I be able to plug the RGB into the built in hub or would I have to use a corsair hub?
What gen of the type c port?
I bought this case and the motherboard socket has deviation, the screw holes don’t align with the holes on my ROG strix motherboard, very disappointed
What about Montech air x3 mesh?
I would 100% pay the extra £10 for the Air 903
Do I have to add extra fans because I get annoyed if the fans aren’t the same
The 4 included fans are all the same, other than the rear is not RGB
Can this accept a 420 aio?
Support for up to 360 only
how do you change the rgb color? i cant make it colors like purple or light blue which i want.
