You make it look so easy, last time I tried to use it the brush would stick to the wrong angle
Like I would try to draw a straight line down but it snapped to a diagonal line
But maybe your practicing tips will help me out with that

I had the same problem, it's because on the ruler there are things to make it so your line WONT snap to a certain angle if you click them, check to make sure there aren't any slashed os on the ruler!

Late but iirc there's a hotkey you can press to change the active ruler you're locking to... not sure if this applies to perspective rulers or just normal ones.

Woha. I was using the "top down view/blueprint" thing before, but transforming that into an actual blueprint in perspective
to then draw the 3D shapes is a game changer.
    Never thought of this before.

It would be nice to have finer-grained control over setting up perspective guides, rulers, measuring points or perspective grids that match the scale of the document or perspective rulers, etc. In other words, the program should work in such a way that it behaves analogous to what traditional draftspersons have learned from hand drawing,.

Perspective is one of the things as an artist I cannot still seem to get or understand. How do u determine where the vanishing points are in a reference photo u want to draw in perspective. It’s annoying. This is why I just draw. Technical stuff like this is hard for me .

Thank you for sharing this video. This is one of the subjects I have never used in my 5 years with CSP, my reasons :- there too complicated, don't really need them, I'm a DIY artist so their not for me!!!
Having watched your video a few times now the 1PT Perspsctive will help by placing objects that look right almost 1st time opposed to 4th & 5th.
    Thank you again for sharing.❤👍

Using the ellipse tool in perspective keeps forcing the circle into a different perspective, I can never get it to get to the size I want because it just jumps into being a super long oval every time I drag it the direction I want, its driving me insane.

I'm very new to CSP - can you make your own rulers? I'm think like a ruler that enables you to create your own unique, warped perspective, like a fisheye lens on steroids. I mean a functional ruler that pen/brush lines follow like they do with your perspective rulers, adjustable in the same way.
