I have found the perspective ruler so hard to manage. This video is pure gold! (BTW, I had to update my CSP before the primitives were available to me. So, viewers, check that if you can't find the primitives in your 3d materials.) Also, the edge keyboard is not available for the desktop version, for anybody looking for that...
Thank Youuuu! Finnally someone explains it simple!. I hope this works even today, since this is a 2 year old video, and many things changed in CSP since then.
Thanks for the comment! Yes it all still applies. And in fact now you can save out your cube settings to your materials folder for next time so you don’t have to adjust every time. Best wishes on your perspective setups!
I think this may be exactly what I was looking for. Manipulating the points of the perspective rulers one by one trying to find something I like is super annoying. This might be so much faster. I've got to try it out
❤❤❤ Loved it! Great video… But was looking for how to Snap Objects to 2D Grid. ie. If I am transforming objects and want them to all transform with a hard snap to the equal size set by grid settings. Any insights in to this madness is greatly appreciated.
When I try to drag the cube into CSP, it says "this material is not compatible with the program you are currently using.' Further investigation prompted me to download Clips Studio Modeler, which did let me access the cube, but has the detriment of being a completely separate program :/ Anyone else having this problem? I've accessed 3D materials from the assets store before, so it's super weird that I can't access these built-in basic shapes.
Mr. Reuben Lara Please revise your Perspective course in SkillShare, there are mistakes in that class specially about horizon line. Many future students will watch that and get confuse and they are paying you money. Please Please change that or watch Design Cinema its free on UA-cam.

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment 👍
So cool. Despite using 3d shapes in Clip I somehow never thought of using a 3d cube for perspective. Excited and motivated to try it out now, thanks!!
CSP has lots of tricks up it's sleeves!
Reuben you beauty. I've been trying to Google this for about 2 years and never found my answer thank you so much

Thank you so much, this is so helpful! Subscribed to your channel :3
Do you have your videos on a different platform? The keep reducing the picture quality and I can't see what you are doing. I love your tutorials.

How would you add diagonal lines to your drawing with this perspective set up, please?
how many cube layers can you use at once? do you just turn them off and on to use the active one?
Yes, you can set multiple perspective environments, but only one can be active at once. Just turn the perspective layer on and off to activate
great! thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thankyou for the cheat!
Every hack is a time saver!

I was just wondering is there a way for me to apply text and have it show in perspective like this?
Is this feature available on android?
Great
Thank you!
