How an Onion Topper Works

What's an onion topper? Only the coolest time-saving contraption ever! We grow a LOT of onions, and this has been on our wish list for some time. Cured onions are dumped into the top of the machine, and as the onions travel down to the bottom, their tops are removed. BIG time saver! We're currently building a gear casing and cover for the top to make this machine safer -- wouldn't want to be wearing a necktie for this bad boy. But for now, you can see how the guts work inside. Kind of scary, isn't it?!

Hi, what a cool little practical machine. I’ve been looking for something similar to your onion topper but have not found anything useful so far.
Is it a matching you guys have build or purchased somewhere. If purchased, would you mind sharing the maker ?
