If anyone thinks these revving motorcycle engines sound cool, try living in Himeji and every Sunday at around 4am or so getting woken up by that. I had to listen to that every weekend and it drove me nuts. This was about 20 years ago.
The constantly-shifting time signatures are mind-boggling. Just memorizing the patterns is impressive enough. Never mind playing along with them in a coherent way. Amazing!
Bosozoku bikes in Japan are still fascinating to me, it all started with WW2 Japanese fighter pilots who survived getting bored and deciding that this would be fun to do.
I'm going dizzy thinking about how much work had to go into this, from finding and organizing the clips, to programming drums exactly like what's being heard, to writing NON-REPEATING riffage to go over it all. Andre is one of those people often referred to as "scary talented" I'd take my hat off to salute you, but you already blew it off with your talent

Okay, this new masterpiece is going there.. at these fields between iconic mathmetal washing machine and legendary japanese "ra-ta-ta-ta" from "metaLOLom - Стасяо-сан - РА-ТА-ТА-ТА-ТА (rock version)". Well.. HOLY HELL, HOT!!
I love how this is a different angle - and acknowledgement of - something that's become part of the very substrate of modern metal. In 1984, Van Halen released the song _Hot for Teacher,_ which evolved into Meshuggah's _Bleed,_ which fundamentally influenced every modern metal & djent band on the planet… There could be aspects to the above (other influential songs) that I don't know about - that's just an anecdotal observation. But in any event, combined with the way motorcycles are woven into the history of rock/metal ( _Leader of the Pack,_ _Born to be Wild,_ _Hell-Bent for Leather_ etc. etc.) not to mention metal singers riding Harleys onstage, this contribution by @andreantunes is a wonderful addition!
@@RustyKnorr personally I really enjoy the history of how things came to be. Especially when it's credit where credit's due - when an artist has not received acknowledgement for their work. It doesn't diminish my enjoyment of rock 'n' roll at all, on the contrary, it enhances it! 🤘🤘
This settles it, Yamaha is a musical instrument company.

Andre, the maestro of unknown but necessary musical genres.
Wow. I didn't know this was a thing. But the revving of the engine does sound a lot like their language. And I thought I have seen it all.
This slaps way harder than it has any right to. I love it. Flawless victory.

To anyone interested, the bikes are bosozoku style. Japan has amazing motorcycle shows with revving battles.
If Road Rash ever gets a remake, we now have the music to fully represent it
Now that you mention it....yeah!
That soundtrack was tight!

I played Motorbike in the national orchestra for YEARS !
Those Bosozoku bikers were a real traffic issue in the 80's when I was a GI over there.
It still is.

The harmonies in the "mulch is here" part though *chefs kiss*
