- Been waiting for this track return and finally it's here! What different really is, layout doesn't seem change except tunnel no longer there being replace by pitstop lol, but still lovely to drive oh and there is extra parking if you want!
Overall change are good enough but took long bringing it back.

And also removing all Eiger Nordwand track variants (leaving the short track alone).

Resolution difference is crazy. GT 6 was the pinnacle at the time and never thought the jump could be so massive 😮
It's not only the resolution, GT7 obviously has higher quality textures too.
Is it really surprising? Gt 6 is an ancient game released on the PlayStation 3. It's not really surprising.

Well the problem is gt6 lacked anti aliasing despite being 1080p it still looks bad
1:21 Now, this is a bit doubtful. In GT7's the Road marking indicating that a car can enter and pass, but somehow the dirt road is very narrow. Honestly, it's a bit sad that they remove the rally layout of the game, 'cause 75% of Eiger Nordwand in previous GT was a Rally Section.
I didn't say that the Short Track is bad, but Eiger Nordwand in GT is very very very big map.
I think the rally layout could return in another update!

@@purwantiallan5089 I'm fine if next GT Intstallment / Gran Turismo 8 they would put it and for now they focus on other older tracks like City tracks, I mean it's big lol and I don't think it could happen in GT7.
But man, Eiger Nordwand is really really big track so I hope Poly's Understand this .

I like the GT7 one more but it’s a real bummer that they got rid of the tunnel because it was my favourite part of the track
The returning tracks to GT7 look very good, but they all definitely feel like they’re missing certain aspects that made them great. Besides the track differences, some great changes, like making Trial M have a long straight accommodate faster cars, but then not so great additions like only having a very sharp corners at the end, which isn’t fun with slower cars.
And aesthetically they’re missing things, like the tree cover in the straight, and here, not as much grass land

@@swnidhs people who watch videos from youtubers whom mostly upload GT content. the likes of Moto games tv, Kireth cart, fast lane Gaming etc their chats are full of people who have no objectivity with Gran Turismo. they refuse to see the obvious, as if GT was their family or their cult (and they are almost all anti Forza M in essence because it's the team in front and especially because they don't have a PC or Xbox)

This takes the fun out of fictional tracks, where there were super high curves, things that in real life would be impossible, and PD wants to put an end to that...
At this point I'm starting to think we shouldn't have Red Rock Valley again, they would find a way to ruin it.
look what they did to Trial Mountain absolutely ruined it, they made roughly an entire minute longer
Once again with returning tracks; what we gain in quality, we loose in character. R.I.P start/finish jump

Ironically, Eiger Nordwand GT6 is a bit more superior than 7.

@@purwantiallan5089 why do you say that? GT 7 was restricted by the cross gen with the PS4. gran Turismo 7 is not a real PS5 game, that's obvious. GT8 will be the real PS5 gran turismo. it will be very different from GT7 which is disappointing on many points.
GT6 had better enviroment and atmosphere, more layouts, the tunnel, the difference in pavement when you were going on the brigde (felt on the force feedback, overall a better sense of a swiss mountain road... it was a proper course for road rally. Now it lost all its character
What I immagine vs what we got witch is a peace of my young memory but half of it is lost bc they didn’t bring the old tunnel back and the graphics and the changes don’t fit right with me even miss the old crowd cheering when I was racing in a time trial or a race now it’s just empty…
gt6 eiger is so much better but its so satisfying to enter that pitlane in gt7

They didn't have to fancify the track. I would have preferred it to be relatively the same. It would have stand out even more from the rest of the tracks. I would actually loved if they made it even more narrower then before to be a more rally inclined type of track.

Why does Polyphony Digital (PD) have to change all of the classic courses? What's the point of adding the bridge? It takes away a lot of the naturalness. What's the point of removing the tunnel and the jump? PD should FINALLY stop changing old courses! They have ruined "Deep Forest Raceway" and "Trial Mountain Circuit", among other things with very long straights. The highlight of the whole thing was the completely reinterpreted "Grand Valley Speedway"! PD PLEASE STOP THAT!!! Courses can be subtly changed (for example by redesigning buildings) but please keep your hands off the track design! Of course the long entrance and exit of the old pit lane was exaggerated but that is what made this course special, as is the jump after the start/finish. This iconic unique point (pit lane) is now missing. Absolutely incomprehensible.
they should add the classic versions to the game
like for example: "trial mountain circuit classic" or "high speed ring classic"

4:58 If we look, the GT6 track has much more detail, for example the GT7 version has much less trees. The jump in the GT7 is much smaller... and the color saturation in the GT6 seems to be much stronger, which I happen to love.
The GT6 track has a bigger mountain because the GT6 track is much bigger, because it has several layouts, I think it would be right to compare the GT5 track with the GT7 track.
I've never been able to play GT6 and that makes me sad, because I prefer the GT6 version even though I've never played it

I repeatedly find it funny how people keep saying that PD are "Ruining" classic tracks while repeatedly ignoring that High Speed Ring (THE original Gran Turismo Track) is also there and it still looks fine. People are far too wrapped in Nostalgia.
Sorry but the people are right in this case. Grand Valley is arguably the worst hit here, Deep Valley lost its character for the sake of gameplay, and don't forget Trial Mountain, where they just slapped a big Trial Mountain logo instead of a road that resembles the chicane.
It would have been great if the tracks were adopted for modern gameplay but still has the bits and pieces of the old. Look at how Maple Valley in Forza looks like for example, still the same layouts, but made graphically different. PD should have done that.
High Speed Ring's change is pretty much negligible.
GT7 was not made from the ground up for PS5 yet it looks amazing!
Keep in mind GT7 had to scale down to be able to run on PS4 which is obsolete hardware that came out 11 years ago.

does anybody notic in GT7 when you entered in a tunnel by any car. The HUD lights are gets brighter and its looks more real but after few second the brightness become so dimm that the number cannot even see!!!
I hope they can open turismo sport online for lovers of this game ( the legend of all the games turismo sport ✌🏻 ) i couldn't accept turismo 7 at all , somthing wrong but i don't know where 😂

It's great to see things 'return' to Gran Turismo, however I wish they were updated rather than remade like the original tracks in GT5/6. In GT5 and 6 the tracks were pretty much the same as they were on PS2 but with graphical updates and sometimes overhauls like SS5 and Mid-field Raceway.
They asset recycle and update cars from the PS3 games, why not tracks?
Polyphony need to stop changing what made their old stuff great.
GT Mode sucks and the remade original tracks are downgrades in terms of fun.
The only OG track they messed up in gt7 is Grand Valley.The rest look the same
way more spectators and just a more immersive vibe in GT6 than the overly clinical, way too clean GT7 rendition.
Also when will they finally disable or at least tone down that crazy artificial, fake, hellish bright sun reflection on exterior car models, it is constantly in your face and waaaaaaay to overblown, can't imagine anyone really liking that annoying effect

I'm starting to think that Polyphony actually lost their touch with "why their previous GT games were better"? This map looks generic in GT7, seems like another embarassment after what they did to Grand Valley...
GT7 was held back by the cross developpement with the PS4. they never had before released a game on 2 generations. GT8 will be the real PS5 GT game. at that point, we will really be able to judge if they are still capable of using a hardware and making a good game
