I just watched Nate and he Is friends do that Washington trail with Power stop and I said to myself….wonder if he knows Dave… well there you go what an epic video
Being from that small town not only that but from up that creek is where I spent my child hood! Thank you for wheeling my home! Awesome seeing Garrett on this, I'll be flipping him shit when I see him next time!
Great vid - I really like this level of production with no fancy edits and music and all that...feels much more 'real' and just like an average guy out on the trail. Even Nate's stuff is getting more 'produced' these days. Seems to be the route most go if they last long enough, advancing from basic to more advanced/produced videos. Sadly the more highly produced the harder it is to relate to for average guys like me.
I think you’re going to have a lot of success with your UA-cam channel. I could see you having a large very large following, you’ve got the skill, work ethic, interesting personality plus camera presence and you do cool thing. Honestly I don’t know if motor trend is really that relevant anymore.
I was a fan of Dirt Everyday until the last episode. I saw Dirt Lifestyles video of this day, saw the Mazgrande and Dave, and I automatically came to your channel. Good to see your still at it, and in a General Mayham sweater too!
I like that V8 ZJ. I had one for a short time mildy built on 32's. It had over 200K miles on it. I drove it to work and all over the state of Arkansas for alittle over a year and wheeled it a couple times. I started to get a plan together to build it alittle more better for like a UA rig but finally decided against it and sold it. I bought a 2.5L TJ, blew the motor up in it eventually. I liked the ZJ V8 so much I bought another ZJ and pulled the engine and trans out of it and put it in the TJ. Again the ZJ V8 had over 200K miles on it. Fresh gaskets and timing set and its done great!
Good old Denver creek. Trail is a damn hyway since the north Idaho jeep club went up there and moved obstacles for there stock wranglers to be able to make it
I had a B2000 and a B2200, loved those little trucks. Your build is awesome and that scenery is just mind-blowing, especially with the snow. Super cool!!
Love seeing you guys out in the snow on a trail I know! Can't wait to see more of you guys wheeling and maybe I'll run into you guys sometime up there!
Things that are ultra rad about this video, in no particular order: 1) Maz Grande 2) Maz Grande being driven not trailered 3) Breakfast burrito 4) No big fancy cameras 5) Jiggle test 6) Dog 7) One not so fancy camera - not multiple cameras intercut with drone footage 8) Maz Grande - may have said that already 9) The view at the 20:24 mark - Thanks, Dave!
Perfect time to be snow wheeling. Great content. Thanks. And that Grand Cherokee is sweet. I wish I had kept our 2004, it had the straight front end and the H.O. v-8
This is awesome and it reminds me how much I dig small trucks! My first 2 trucks were a Mazda and a Ford Ranger and this is making me want to go find an old Ranger with an extra cab and build it for wheeling. I need to find a video of Dave working on one of his lowered trucks.
Have you ever done a video about this truck? All the particulars of what's in it, under it etc? Would be interested in a "build" video about, maybe you have done that already somewhere. Just wondering.
So great...the mazgrande is a beast...glad to see her out n about! Have you ever been up the Mormon emigrant trail near pollock pines ca. It's a great winter wheeling road...goes up to an abandoned ski resort.
Being a local to Washington I went out that way to watch the mountain Mafia race and ended up leaving early and hitting that spot and acouple others with a few buddy's tons of fun
That looked like so much fun Dave . That sucks about Nates Tacoma . Love MazGrande and how capable it is . Take care brother and catch you on you next video.
As are most Toyota guys, lol. In all seriousness, he has a great channel himself where he fabricates a lot of cool stuff, including that truck and a Land Rover Discovery on one tons.
nate look up the grey wire mod it allows your truck to have a 2 lo so no more hifting to hi to get outta 4. the mod you basically ground the grey wire on the 4wdcomputer its on passenger side kick panel. google it. ihad one and loved themod.
I like Nate’s truck but that IFS struggles with big tires. Old stuff with levers for the transfer case, lockouts and just a little electronics seem to do well.
As a local Washington wheeler, it worms my heart to see Nate & Dave working together!!!
Thanks. He’s a good dude. I’m sure we will do more together
Dude if you have heart worm, you might want to get that checked!🤣
🪱
I just watched Nate and he

Where in Washington are you from? I live in Vancouver, WA
YES!!!!! Nate and Dave!!!!
And Garret!
@@thedirtheadshed well of course! And his pupper!
The PNW combo everybody needed!
@@thedirtheadshed and Mark, lol that was nicely timed. Surprised Garret still has the ZJ, thought it was sold.
Thanks for the great time, my friend 🙌. I can't wait for the next one
That was a great day. Next time I’ll head towards your side if the state
I love that Mazda! Props to you for building something unique.
Thank you! It’s a good lil rig
Looks like a wicked snow wheeling day! 🤘🏻
It was a good one
Being from that small town not only that but from up that creek is where I spent my child hood! Thank you for wheeling my home! Awesome seeing Garrett on this, I'll be flipping him shit when I see him next time!
You have a great little town . I always enjoy going out there
Hope to see more WA wheelers getting together, this is totally awesome!!
I need to get to the west side and do some wheeling
Really enjoying your channel and really love to see snow wheeling and road trip footage.
Winter is closing in. So I’m sure you’ll see more
SUPER COOL GRAND CHEROKEE ZJ!
I’m always question why I don’t build one
@@thedirtheadshed please do it!

I hear ya. I have help with some of my videos. But I want to make sure I can always grab my phone and edit from the road if I need to.
Yes, love wheeling in the snow! No mud to clean off.
Cleaner than when you left!
Awesome Dave ,watched the ded with the tow truck earlier today cool to see it in the snow. Keep them coming
Right on! That was fun
I always Love watching your videos, but it's even better when they are filmed in this area. I grew up riding my dirt bike all over these trails.
Nice! I need to get out on my bike more this year

Much appreciated. I think this is gonna be a great platform as well

Thanks for sharing. This is a day in the life of a true wheeler. I love it.
Just getting out and having fun
Nothing better than making tracks in fresh snow gold yall had a fun some more fun than others but everyone and every rig came home.
Yeah. All part of the game. The fresh tracks were an added bonus
I had a B2000 and a B2200, loved those little trucks. Your build is awesome and that scenery is just mind-blowing, especially with the snow. Super cool!!
Thank you. I was in awe that day
It's so pretty, I love how your video transition from the load road to complete silence on the snowy trail
It was awesome up there
Oh man, I was going through Dirthead withdrawal until just now!
I got you!
This is what Ultimate Adventure needs to do one year. Do it in the snow for a week would be great.
It would be fun. It would be super icy if you were in the back of the pack
@@thedirtheadshed yes it would be but man it would be cool
So awesome to see you roll through Cd'A! I was born and raised here.
Nice! Beautiful town
Thanks for the Ride .. The Red Mazda works mint ... its my fav too .
Nice. Thanks for watching
Hey, that’s my home town! Sick video guys.
Pinehurst is a cool little town
It’s videos like this that make me wish I started a crawler project instead of a Baja bug project !
Baja bugs are cool. But 4wd is necessary sometimes. Finish that bug and build a cheap Toyota or Jeep too
Love the little Mazda. I need to build my 1st gen tacoma like it. Low ride height with big tires.
It’s a good combination
Hi Dave from AZ love the content, thanks 😊
Thanks for watching!
The creek is a good time! Neat to see it with fresh tracks!
Most fun I’ve had out there
Love this show man!!
Thanks so much
