- I make it to Moab for the 2023 Easter Jeep Safari. All was good until it wasn't. Not to be brought down by being a dummy and breaking my rig, I jumped in with friends and had some of the most fun wheeling days I have had. Follow along. I know it’s a complicated situation, but honestly the loss of dirt every day has brought us this channel and it’s incredible. The amount of content you are pushing out is amazing and honestly between this channel and Fred’s, dirt every day isn’t even really missed minus the name.

When mt killed off 19 car/truck/jeep magazines. I subbed to 6 of them. Now when I go to the post office all I get are bills. I spent my "youth" reading every car magazine I could get my hands on. I still have all of the magazines that I subbed to and go back for reference when I'm working on my different projects. That's a bummer about your Jeep, but I don't have any doubt that you will fix it and it will be better than before.

It was cool to see some of the UA vehicles out at moab having fun ,sucks about the butter jeep tho but I got no doubt you'll have a engine slapped in that rig in no time.

I saw your comment about longevity of a stroker but it would sure be nice to do a mild stroker and call it good. It would be the least investment in time and $ short of just plopping another 4.0 in there.

Love your content and knowledge but how come you don't have an "extreme" rig ? not over the top but "highly capable " your driving skills always come through!
My Mazda on 40s and tons and 300:1 crawl ratio is extreme enough

Well 4.0s are a dime a dozen at wrecking yards they are all the same besides the coil pack ones…I built a 4.0 out of a grand Cherokee for my xj…..the 90-95 heads flo the best if I remember correctly

PLEASE tell me You're considering a 4BT swap? Nobody seems to be doing anything with the 4BT, anymore.

There's a reason nobody is using the 4BT.... ask yourself, if it didn't have a big C on the top would you still like it? Weighs more than a 454, makes very little power, shakes more than SF during the '06 quake, can hear it idling from 1/4 mile away. It was never even intended to be an automotive engine, more of an industrial power source.
How did that JL stay (very new and) shiny side up…?

Yeah about that MotorTrend. Not gonna happen, too much reruns, not enough fresh content and the app doesn't work too often yet still charges every month. Dropped them last year and haven't looked back. Glad you, Fred, and Finnegan are on UA-cam.
