We lobe rain for sure! Especially on those hot summer days... It's quite difficult to keep the camera's dry though, we would have to use the actioncam!

Living in a desert as I do where it rains very infrequently, being in a tent in the rain is a magical experience that I savor whenever I get the chance. If it thunders it's all the better.

When I was younger, I went through this area. Stayed also in Vadus, Lechtenstein. Went over Brenner Pass on the train. This area has got to be the most beautiful part of the world. I wish that I were younger again so that I could do it all over again.

I was in my 20s and backpacked but mostly hitchhiked and took the train. At the time I was of an age, although cutting it close, that I was able to stay in Youth Hostels. During this period of my life, I ended up on a Kibbutz for a year and after that, working as a civilian for the US Air Force in Berlin. In between the work time, I still traveled by the same method as before. Although so much fun, it does become difficult at points. Not knowing where I would sleep at night was the scary part. I had a friend in. Nijmegen in the Netherlands and stayed with him for a while just to rest from the travels. It was very difficult after 3 1/2 years to return to the every day life and get a job again on finally returning to the USA. However, that was an unforgettable time in my life and would not trade that time period for anything. Enjoy your adventures.

I think it is very valuable and a lot more people, especially in the western world, should consider undertaking such an in-depth journey. The things we experience are quite diverse and go from boring to very adventurous... And that's mostly with challenging weather situations, especially in summer thunder storms happen quite often!

What a nice trip guys, the landscape the roads seem safe to bike, the only place I feel unsecure is that tunnel, but I guess drivers are respectful over there..

Hey Jorge, thanks :-) Eric went through the tunnel when there was a moment without traffic, I took the little sidewalk which is used in case of emergency. It can be a little risky but with good lights and good timing, or just choosing to walk you'll be fine!

I liked the video, I like doing camping trips like that. I built my own little trailer for me to take along. Well almost finish I should say. But have tried it out even though not finished. Not a sales pitch or anything. I just figured things like what we deal with while camping on our trips. Like ants, and a shower. But anyways liked your video. And the trip was beautiful. 💕 's

Thank you for the interesting film about bivouacking. The grossly negligent mountain guide from Pigne d'Arolla should have seen this film, where 7 people died in April 2018. They had no bivouac bags with them.
Every responsible alpinist or mountain guide has a bivouac sack with him on a haute route. In addition, textbooks that are 50 years old already say that it is a MUST one
